Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to You through Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way of salvation. You know the burden on this heart and You love each person in this situation. We ask that You draw each one to know Christ and to walk in Your truth. Grant wisdom, discernment and strength to the one who is loved and being influenced, that they may seek what is pure and cultivate the beauty of a life formed by You, which does not fade. Protect them from harm and surround them with godly counsel and faithful community. Work also in the young man's heart, bring him to repentance and faith where he needs it, and lead him in the path that honors You. For any romantic relationship, we ask that it be ordered by Your design, that marriage would be honored as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that purity would be kept with intimacy reserved for within that covenant. Where a relationship is not good or not from You, give clarity and courage to step away in a right and peaceful way. Where it is Your will for people to remain apart, do that by Your hand and not by revenge or scheming. Fill this heart that prayed with Your peace, free it from anxiety, and help it to trust You day by day. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
