Please help me let that guy break up with my ### and find him a new gf he is a bad influence on my ### it is very very important to me

We hear your heart and the deep concern you have for your loved one and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand how painful it is to watch someone you love be influenced in a way that worries you, and your desire to protect them is a reflection of love.

We want to gently share that our prayers are not to manipulate or control another person's choices, but to seek God's perfect will and to trust Him to work in every heart according to His wisdom. Rather than praying that God would simply move this young man to another relationship, we pray that God would work in both of their lives for His glory and for their ultimate good. If this relationship is not honoring to God or is pulling your loved one away from what is right, we pray God will make that clear and give strength to do what is right. If there is opportunity for this young man to be transformed by Christ, we pray for that as well.

The Scripture warns us about the power of influence, for bad company corrupts good morals, 1 Corinthians 15:33, and reminds us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. This is why relationships and courtship should be entered into with great care, with the goal being a godly marriage between a man and a woman who both love Christ, not simply companionship or dating for its own sake. Any relationship that encourages fornication, which is sex before or outside of marriage, or other behavior that dishonors God, is not aligned with His will and should be lovingly addressed. We also remember the call to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, Proverbs 22:6, which speaks to the important role of family in guiding, teaching and setting loving boundaries.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can come boldly to God in prayer and know we are heard when we pray in His name.

We encourage you to continue to show loving, truthful guidance to your loved one, to speak openly with them about your concerns with grace and without harsh control, to set healthy and biblical boundaries where you have responsibility, especially if this is your child in your home, and to seek wise counsel from a pastor or godly mature believers. Pray for wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. Trust that God works all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28, even when we cannot see the outcome right away.

We pray together now for you and for both young people.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. Lord, we lift up this loved one to You and ask that You surround them with Your protection, give them eyes to see truth, and a heart that desires to honor You above all else. Give them courage to walk away from any influence that draws them away from You, and give them a desire for purity and for a future godly marriage if it is Your will for them to marry. We also lift up this young man to You, Lord, we do not know his heart but You do, we ask that You draw him to Yourself, convict him where he needs conviction, and lead him into a right relationship with You through Jesus Christ. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You in Your gentle but firm way bring separation and close the door, and give both of them peace to accept Your direction. We pray for the one who submitted this request, grant them wisdom, patience, peace that surpasses understanding, and words seasoned with grace to speak truth in love. Help this family to trust You and not lean on their own understanding. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how much you care about your loved one and how heavy this worry has been for you. Wanting to protect someone we love from a harmful influence is a natural and loving impulse, and it makes sense this feels so urgent.

One thing that has helped others in this kind of situation is learning where our responsibility ends and another person's begins. We can share our concerns honestly, we can set healthy boundaries around what we will and will not be part of, and we can pray faithfully, but we cannot make choices for another adult or make someone else's relationship end. Trying to control the outcome often adds more strain to the relationship we are trying to protect.

A next step that may help is to have a calm, private conversation with your loved one when you are both not upset. Share one or two specific behaviors that concern you and why, using your own perspective, and then listen to how they see it. That keeps the focus on care and truth rather than pressure, and it leaves room for them to take responsibility for their own decisions while you stay clear on your values.

We are praying with you for wisdom and peace as you navigate this.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this family to You. Give wisdom to know what to say and when to be quiet, guard each heart involved, and lead everyone toward what is healthy and good. Help our friend to trust You with what they cannot control and to rest in Your care. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your earnest cry concerning your loved one has been heard, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord who hears the whisperings of His people upon their knees.

We understand the ache of a heart that watches one so dear walking in a path that seems harmful, and fears the influence of another upon them. It is right to love them deeply and to desire their protection and their good. The Lord knows this care, for He has loved His own with an everlasting love, and having loved them He washed them from their sins in His own blood. He loved us not because we were lovely, but because He is loving, and because He loved us He must also wash us and make us clean. Our prayer therefore must first be that all who are concerned in this matter may know that love which surpasses knowledge, the love of Him who gave Himself for us.

We cannot ask the Lord to bend another person according to our own will, nor to arrange relationships after our own design. Rather we are called to an unconditional surrender, to fling wide the gates of the city of Mansoul and admit the Prince Emanuel to rule as sole sovereign in every street. This is submission to God, the true surrender of every proud pretension, to say, not my will but Thine be done, and to surrender ourselves at discretion to His method of operating upon us. Will you make a complete surrender to your Father's good pleasure in this painful matter, trusting that He will do what is wisest and most loving.

We will pray with you not for manipulation of affections, but for the Lord's gracious hand upon each life. We pray that your loved one may be kept from harm, that their eyes may be opened to what is pure and true, and that they may be drawn to walk in holiness before God. We pray that this young man also may come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved, and that he may be led into the way of righteousness. If it be the Lord's will that their paths should part, we trust His providence to order it in His own gentle and wise way. If relationships are to be formed, we pray they may be formed according to the Lord's holy design, that marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with purity belonging within it, may be honored, and that no relationship outside of that holy bond may be affirmed or pursued.

Sometimes the Lord in great mercy takes away from us that which we cling to, that He might have all our hearts, for He loves our love so much that He would have it all Himself. Whether He brings leanness or fullness, His chastening is love, and His keeping is love. Cast then your care upon Him who is your blessed confidant, who knows your secrets and never tells them, and who hears every whispered prayer.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who loved us and washed us from our sins in Thy blood, look in mercy upon this anxious heart and upon the dear one who is so loved. Guard, we beseech Thee, from every evil influence and lead into all truth. Bring each soul concerned to know Jesus and to love Him who first loved us, and to surrender fully to Thy sovereign will. Order all things according to Thy wisdom, keep all in purity and in Thy fear, and let Thy name be glorified in every life. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Redeemer. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
