Please help me

We hear the burden on your heart for your loved one and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord together in Jesus name, for it is very clear how much you love her and desire what is best for her.

We understand your concern that this relationship is a bad influence on her. Scripture calls us to care deeply about who our loved ones are yoked together with, especially in courtship which should be entered into with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. We are reminded Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 and also Bad company corrupts good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33. If this young man is leading her away from the Lord, away from purity, or away from wisdom, it is right to be concerned and to pray for God to intervene. We also want to gently remind that any intimacy outside of marriage is fornication and is sin before God, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies. If that is part of this influence, we pray that the Lord would convict and bring repentance and purity.

We do not pray out of hatred or a desire to control, but out of love and trust that God knows what is best. We pray not simply for a breakup, but for the will of the Lord to be done, for her eyes to be opened, and for protection over her heart and future. We trust the promise I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8 and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only by His name that we have access to God and that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly bring your request to the throne of grace, and we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him both for your own salvation and for your loved one's future.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up this precious daughter to You and we ask for Your hand of protection and wisdom over her life. Lord, if this relationship is not of You, if it is unequally yoked, if it is leading her away from You and into harm, we ask that You would in Your mercy and power cause it to end. Open her eyes to see clearly, give her discernment and strength to walk away from what is harmful, and guard her heart from deception. We also pray for this young man, Lord, that You would work in his heart, convict him of sin, and draw him to salvation in Jesus if he does not know You. We pray that You would bring godly influences around her, that You would help her parents and loved ones to speak truth in love and not in anger or manipulation, and that You would prepare a godly husband for her in Your perfect timing, a marriage that honors You as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Give this family peace that passes understanding as they trust You, for we know that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation, amen.

We encourage you to continue to love her with patience, to pray without ceasing, to speak the truth with gentleness, and to entrust her fully to the Lord who loves her even more than you do.

We hear the urgency in your request and how much you love her. Watching someone you care about stay close to a person you believe is harming her is painful, and carrying that worry can be exhausting.

We cannot control another person's relationships, even when we are convinced we see harm clearly. What we can do is keep loving her well, keep the door open so she feels safe coming to you, and keep bringing her before the Lord. Pressuring or cornering her often pushes her further away, while steady love and calm honesty keep influence over time.

One practical step that often helps is to stay connected in simple ways, continue to pray consistently for wisdom and protection for her, and if you have concerns about her safety, talk quietly with a trusted pastor or counselor for guidance on how to support her well without taking over her decisions.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this family to You. You see this young woman and this relationship and the worry it has brought. Give her clarity, protection and wisdom to see what is true, and give those who love her peace, patience and words that reflect Your grace. Lead each step according to Your will and keep her in Your care. Amen.

Your cry has come before us and we have heard the heaviness of your heart for one whom you love dearly. We join you in bringing this burden to the throne of grace, for there is no sorrow of a parent or of a family which the Lord does not see, and He forgets not to devise means to bring again His banished ones.

Scripture warns us plainly that an alliance with the ungodly is no light thing. As it is written, if the priest's daughter is married to a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things. She remains the priest's daughter, yet while joined to a stranger she cannot partake with her father's house. How often an ungodly companion proves to be as an infection, breeding corruption and leading the soul away from the holy things of God. The unconverted man has an existence, but that is a very different thing from eternal life, and you must never confuse the one with the other. Left alone and permitted to ripen, sin will bring sorrow upon the soul, and God's justice is not partial. It is for the benefit of the righteous and for the awakening of the ungodly that the Lord sometimes thunders out His sentence, that we may flee from that which would destroy us.

Yet there is hope set before you. The same word declares, if she is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat. The Lord is able to break the snare and to bring back the wandering one. A godly home hedged in with prayer is no small mercy, for God often spares and blesses for the sake of the praying ones within it. And a quiet peace and holy patience under trial will often impress the heart more than many words.

Let us pray together.

O most merciful Father, we come to Thee through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Thou knowest this loved one of whom we speak, and Thou knowest the companion who now has influence over her. We ask not that Thou wouldst bless what is not according to Thy holy will, for Thou hast ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and Thou hast set purity and holiness within its bounds. We ask that Thou wouldst deliver her from every ungodly influence that would draw her from Thee. If this bond is not of Thee and leads away from holiness and truth, we pray that in Thy mercy Thou wouldst break it, and that Thou wouldst guard her heart and body and soul from harm.

Bring her back, O Lord, as one returned unto her father's house, that she may again eat of her Father's meat and know the life that is in Christ. Give her eyes to see and a heart to discern, and grant to those who love her wisdom, patience, and grace to speak the truth in love and to live it before her day by day. Have mercy also upon the man, and if he knows Thee not, bring him to repentance and to new life in Christ, whether near or far from her. Let Thy will be done in both lives, and let no amazement or fear turn Thy people aside, but let holy patience prove them to be Thine.

We leave this precious soul in Thy hands, trusting not in our own power but in Thy sovereign grace, which alone can give life where there is but existence, and can make the banished to return. Hear us for Jesus sake. Amen.

Continue steadfast in prayer and in a godly example before her. The Lord hears the prayers of His people, and He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with urgency and love. I understand how heavy this is for you and how deeply you care for your loved one, and how painful it is to see her bound to a relationship that harms her.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come to You through Jesus Christ alone, who loved us when we were without hope and gave Himself for us. We ask You to protect this dear woman, to open her eyes to what is true and good, and to give her wisdom and strength to turn away from what harms her soul and body. Where there is an influence that leads away from You and toward sin, we ask You to break its hold. Lead her into purity and clarity and into Your will for her life, whether that is singleness for now or in time a marriage that honors You as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where love and life together belong. Guard her heart and guide her steps, and draw her closer to Yourself.

We also pray for this man, not with hatred but with the love Christ has shown to His enemies, for He loved even those who hated Him and laid down His life for them. If he does not know You, draw him to repentance and faith in Christ. Restrain what is harmful and bring him to see the truth, that he too may receive Your mercy.

I encourage you to continue in love that seeks the good of both souls, not only for worldly reasons but for Christ's sake, a love that does not fail even when it is not returned. Keep gathering with the faithful, for assembling together makes love more warm and from love all good things arise. Speak the truth with gentleness, keep wise and holy boundaries, and entrust this to the Lord who loves each person as if He had come for that one alone, and whose sacrifice is sufficient to save all who believe.

May the Lord give you peace as you wait on Him and keep you steadfast in prayer and love. Amen.
