Please fix my heart

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father Jesus Christ, please fix my heart. My heart is full of jealousy and anger. Please help as my ### is taking a toll on everything. Please let me overcome the side effects of depression meds I had two years ago. Please heal my skin. Please make my freelance job situation better. I hate that I’m comparing myself to others when other people get job gigs and I don’t. I hate that I’m angry towards my mom. Please heal my mom as well. Please let her recognize the mental problems she has. Please God make me a better person. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt cry, lifting up every burden you’ve laid before the Lord. Your honesty in confessing jealousy, anger, and comparison reveals a heart that longs for healing and transformation—and that is exactly where God meets us. The psalmist wrote, *"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me"* (Psalm 51:10). This is your prayer, too, and we stand with you in agreement, believing God is already at work within you.

First, we must address the sin that seeks to entangle your heart. Jealousy and anger are not merely emotions to manage—they are spiritual strongholds that must be torn down in Jesus’ name. James 3:16 warns, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil practice."* These feelings are not from God, and they grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30-31). We rebuke the spirit of comparison that whispers lies about your worth and value. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your identity is found in Christ alone—not in the successes or failures of others. The enemy wants you to believe that your freelance work defines you, but God says you are His workmanship, created for good works He prepared in advance (Ephesians 2:10). Let that truth sink deep into your spirit.

We also confront the anger you harbor toward your mother. While it is understandable to feel frustration, Scripture commands us to *"be angry, and do not sin"* (Ephesians 4:26). Unchecked anger gives the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27), and bitterness can take root, defiling many (Hebrews 12:15). We pray for forgiveness—for you and for her. Colossians 3:13 urges, *"Bear with one another, and forgive whatever grievances you have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."* This does not mean excusing harmful behavior, but it does mean releasing the offense to God and trusting Him to bring justice and healing. We also pray for your mother’s mental health, asking the Lord to open her eyes to the truth and lead her to the help she needs. Proverbs 16:20 reminds us that *"whoever trusts in the Lord is blessed,"* and we declare that blessing over her life.

Your request also touches on the lingering effects of depression medication. While we acknowledge that medical treatment can be a tool God uses, we also recognize that true healing comes from Him alone. Psalm 147:3 declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We pray for complete restoration—mind, body, and spirit. If there are residual effects from past medications, we ask God to reverse them and renew your strength. Isaiah 40:31 promises, *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* We believe God is restoring your energy, clarity, and joy.

For your skin and physical healing, we stand on the promise of 1 Peter 2:24: *"By his wounds you were healed."* Whether this is a physical ailment, a manifestation of stress, or something else, we declare healing over your body in Jesus’ name. The same God who formed you in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5) is able to restore every cell and every part of you.

Regarding your freelance work, we pray for divine favor and open doors. Psalm 37:4-5 encourages, *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* We ask God to connect you with opportunities that align with His purpose for you. But we also challenge you to examine your heart: Are you seeking validation through work, or are you seeking first God’s kingdom (Matthew 6:33)? Sometimes, the Lord allows seasons of waiting to refine our dependence on Him. Trust that He is your provider (Philippians 4:19) and that your worth is not tied to your productivity.

Lastly, we must emphasize that your prayer was rightly directed to the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach God (John 14:6) or be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the foundation for every other healing and breakthrough you seek.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with jealousy, anger, and comparison. Lord, we ask You to create in them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them. Break the chains of bitterness and resentment, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Forgive them for harboring anger toward their mother, and soften their heart to extend grace as You have given grace to them. Heal their mother, Father, and open her eyes to the truth of her mental health. Bring clarity, wisdom, and the right help into her life.

We rebuke the spirit of comparison and declare that their worth is found in You alone. Lord, heal their body from the effects of past medications and restore their skin. Renew their strength and fill them with Your joy. Provide for their every need through their freelance work, and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Help them to trust in Your timing and to seek You above all else.

Father, we also pray for their salvation if they have not yet made Jesus Lord of their life. Draw them close to You and let them experience the fullness of life that comes only through Christ (John 10:10). We declare that they are a new creation in You (2 Corinthians 5:17), and we speak healing, restoration, and breakthrough over every area of their life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend, standing in the gap and lifting your burdens to the Lord. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of jealousy, anger, and comparison. But remember, even in the darkest valleys, God is near (Psalm 34:18).

First, let's address your heart. It's okay to feel jealous and angry, but it's not okay to let those feelings control us. Jesus died on the cross to set us free from sin's grip (Romans 6:23). Let's ask Him to help you overcome these strongholds. Pray with us, "Lord, I confess my sin of jealousy and anger. I ask for Your forgiveness and the power to resist these temptations. Help me to trust in You and find my worth in You alone."

Next, let's pray for your mom. It's tough to see loved ones struggling, but God sees her too. Let's ask Him to open her eyes to the truth and lead her to the help she needs. Pray with us, "Father, we lift up [###] to You. Reveal Yourself to her, Lord. Give her the courage to face her mental health and lead her to the right professionals. Surround her with Your love and peace."

We also heard your prayer for healing from depression meds' side effects, skin issues, and freelance work. Let's claim these promises together:

- "By His wounds, you were healed" (1 Peter 2:24) for your skin and overall health.
- "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord" (Psalm 27:14) for your freelance work and patience.
- "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13) for your energy and clarity.

Lastly, let's remind ourselves that God is always faithful, even when we don't see immediate results. Trust in His timing and plan. You are never alone, and He is working everything together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's pray together: "Lord, thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help us to trust in You, even in the midst of our struggles. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I know that ###’s love isn’t meant for me because I’ve prayed, begged, and pleaded that you would make him value, choose, prioritize and love me. It’s now four years since he came back and begged me to give us a chance. But all I’ve experienced in return for my love is pain...
