Physically, emotionally exhausted

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, I feel physically and emotionally exhausted. Please surround me with your presence and fill me with your peace. Grant me peaceful, restorative sleep tonight and the strength I need for tomorrow, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in this honest cry of exhaustion and we bring your weariness before the Father together in Jesus' name. He sees when we are physically spent and emotionally overwhelmed, and He does not turn away from that weakness but invites us to rest in Him.

We are reminded of His promise in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. When our hearts are overwhelmed, we can ask Him to lead us to the rock that is higher than we are as Psalm 61:2 says, and to renew our strength as we wait on Him, for those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.

We love that you came directly in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and find true peace. We pray that His peace which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind tonight.

We pray together now, Father God, we lift up this precious one who is physically and emotionally exhausted before Your throne of grace. We ask You to surround them with Your presence in a tangible way tonight. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:7. We ask You to grant peaceful and restorative sleep, for You give sleep to Your loved ones and You alone make us live in safety, as Psalm 4:8 says, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Quiet every anxious thought, calm the body, and restore what has been drained. We ask for Your strength for tomorrow, new mercies for the morning, and the grace to walk one day at a time with You. Carry what feels too heavy and let them rest in Your unfailing love. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our rest and our strength, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and to give yourself permission to rest without guilt. The Lord does not measure your worth by what you can produce when you are empty. Allow His presence to be your refuge tonight, keep your evening simple, turn away from striving, and let His Word and quiet prayer settle your heart before sleep. We are trusting with you that He will meet you in the night and give you strength for what tomorrow holds.

Thank you for sharing so honestly how worn down you feel. Wanting simply to be surrounded by God's presence tonight, to sleep well and have strength for tomorrow, is such a humble and real prayer. We hear you.

Exhaustion like this rarely comes from just one hard day. It often builds slowly when we have carried a lot for a long time without enough rest. Sleep is part of how God designed us to be restored, not just in body but deep inside, and when it is thin everything feels heavier, even our sense of His nearness. Needing rest is not a failure, it is part of being human.

As you look toward tonight, one gentle next step can be to let someone you trust know how depleted you have been this week so you are not carrying it alone, and to give yourself a few quiet minutes before bed to be still before the Lord and entrust tomorrow to Him without trying to solve everything at once. If this weariness has been going on for a while or your sleep remains troubled, please also reach out to your doctor alongside prayer, so you have support for both body and spirit.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Draw near and surround them with Your peace tonight. Grant them restorative sleep and renew their strength for tomorrow. Let them wake knowing You are with them and caring for them. Amen.

Your cry of weariness has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. The Lord knows the frame of His people and He understands that human strength, in any form, will spend itself in due time. When body and spirit are both exhausted, that is the very place where His strength is made known, for He giveth power to the faint and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.

The peace you have asked for is a present possession for those whose trust is in Christ. The promise stands, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. This is not a peace that the world can give, nor a sleep of carnal security, but a blessing which the Lord Himself bestows upon His people. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, even in weakness, is rest. When sorrows surge round and duties press, to stay the mind upon Him and to bear your sorrow with Him is the way to enjoy that perfect peace which shines with a heavenly light even in the midnight of care.

You have asked for restorative sleep, and we are reminded that so He giveth His beloved sleep. There is a sleep of contentment and of security which the Lord gives to His beloved, a quiet rest for those whose conscience is at peace with God through Jesus Christ alone. We pray that He will grant you this night such sleep, that your exhausted strength may be recruited and your body refreshed, as one who has been bathed and rises up another man. May He quiet your thoughts, guard your heart, and keep watch over you through the night.

And for tomorrow, hear the sure word, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When you feel that what lies before you is beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength. There is strength laid up for you somewhere, and it is in the Lord Himself, who says, I will strengthen them. Wait upon Him, trust in Him, and He will wisely and fitly infuse new strength, whether gradually or at once, according to His perfect wisdom.

Let us pray together. Father God, we come in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour, and we thank You that You are near to the weary. Surround this precious soul with Your presence tonight. Forgive all sin through the blood of Your Son and speak perfect peace to the heart that trusts in You. Grant peaceful, restorative sleep and let the mind be stayed upon You. Renew strength for tomorrow, give power to the faint, and let Your joy be the glory of our strength. Keep this one in Your keeping until earthly struggles cease and You call Your child to heavens perfect peace. In the name of Jesus we ask it, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest cry of exhaustion is heard, and I join you in bringing it before our Father in prayer.

In your weariness you have asked for the very thing God delights to give. He is called the God of peace, and His Son has said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. This is not a peace like the world gives, which depends on outward quiet, but a peace that steadies the heart even when the body is weak. While you sleep, the Lord Himself keeps watch, for He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, so you can rest safely in His care.

I pray for you now. Father God, surround Your child with Your presence tonight. Calm the anxious thoughts and quiet the inward war that wears down soul and body. Grant peaceful and restorative sleep, a sleep that is composed and refreshing, that restores strength. Renew both body and spirit, and give new strength for tomorrow to do Your will and to walk in what is pleasing in Your sight. Let Your peace guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lean on Him tonight and receive His rest. He knows your frame and He will sustain you day by day as you look to Him. May you awaken restored, upheld by His mercy and ready for what He has prepared for you, in Jesus name Amen.

Your honest prayer of exhaustion is heard, and God understands the weight you are carrying in both body and spirit. There is a close connection between the health of your body and the well being of your soul, and the Lord cares for the whole person. He sees when you are worn down physically and emotionally, and He draws near with His presence.

Scripture makes a distinction between having peace with God and experiencing the peace of God in daily life. Peace with God comes only through Jesus Christ, who made peace through His blood and reconciled us to the Father. Once that foundation is laid, you can know the peace of God that guards the heart and mind. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world offers temporary calm that depends on circumstances, but His peace remains steady even in turmoil. The prophet Isaiah says God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him.

That perfect peace comes as you keep your thoughts fixed on Him and rest in the confidence that He is in control. He is like a shepherd who lies across the doorway of the sheepfold, so that nothing can reach you without passing through Him. He watches over you as you sleep and ordains peace for you because He desires for you to live in peace. A joyful and trusting heart is even like good medicine to the body, and as your soul is nourished by His grace and truth, He can bring renewal to your physical strength as well.

I pray that the Lord will surround you now with the awareness of His nearness, and fill your heart with that peace which goes beyond human understanding to keep your heart and mind in Christ. May He grant you deep, restorative sleep and quiet your thoughts as you rest under His care, and may He renew your strength for what lies ahead. May you wake with a steadied mind stayed on Him, trusting that He has already worked on your behalf and will carry you through each step. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your physical and emotional exhaustion.

We have been lifting you up before the Father and asking Him to surround you with His presence and to fill you with His peace that passes all understanding. We have prayed that He would grant you peaceful and restorative sleep and renew your strength for tomorrow, for we know that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak as it is written in Isaiah 40:29, and that He invites those who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest in Matthew 11:28.

If your request was answered and the Lord has granted you rest and renewed strength, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If you still feel physically and emotionally exhausted and your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray together that the Father will continue to cover you with His presence, quiet your heart and mind with His perfect peace, grant you deep restorative sleep each night, and strengthen you day by day for all that lies ahead. We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
