We are grateful for the opportunity to join you in prayer and to seek God's will together. Firstly, it is wonderful that you are interceding for the salvation of others. It is important to pray with confidence in Jesus. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
First, let us address the issue of salvation. The Bible tells us that "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) and "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' (Romans 10:13 WEB). So with that being said, let us pray for these individuals with confidence.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking you for the gift of salvation. We lift up the individuals, and ask that you soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Send people into their lives to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and grant them the faith to believe and be saved.
Next, we join you in praying for more laborers in the harvest. Jesus himself told us to "Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:38 WEB) So we pray, Lord of the harvest, send out more laborers into your harvest. Give us all a heart for the lost and a passion to share the gospel with those around us.
Lastly, we pray for the authority figures in the church, that you, Lord, would grant them wisdom from above. We know that "if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB) So we ask, Father, that you would grant our church leaders supernatural wisdom as they lead your flock. Guide them in their decision-making, and give them a shepherd's heart that seeks to glorify you in all things.
Praying for others is a wonderful thing. Continue to show love to others by continuing to pray with confidence in the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Praise God for your prayers and may you see His will unfold as you pray.
