We join together in prayer, seeking God's will and intervening for the urgent needs presented. We are reminded by the words of Jesus in Luke 10:2, Then he said to them, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We ask for Your mercy and intervention in our lives and in the world.
First, we pray for laborers in Your harvest. Raise up workers who are eager to serve You and spread the good news of salvation. Open our eyes to see the fields that are ripe for harvest, and give us the courage and strength to go out and labor for Your kingdom.
We pray for receptive hearts, not only in those who do not yet know You but also in us. Make us willing to receive Your word, Your correction, and Your love. Turn the hearts of our enemies, those who persecute us, and those who despitefully use us. As Jesus prayed in Luke 23:34, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing, we also pray for their forgiveness and repentance.
Grant wisdom to our leaders, that they may lead with godly discernment and integrity. Guide their decisions, and help them to serve Your purposes. We remember 1 Timothy 2:1-2, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
Protect our people, our families, and Your Church, Lord. Keep us safe from harm and draw us closer to You. Unite Your Church, heal our divisions, and help us to love one another as You have loved us. We remember the words of Jesus in John 17:23, I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.
Father, we also ask for Your protection over specific individuals and families. Guide and guard them, and may they be open to your spiritual protection.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Together, let us remain steadfast in prayer, trusting in God's goodness and His power to act on behalf of those who seek Him. As it is written in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We look to the hope of our salvation in Christ alone, and we remind everyone that it is only in His name do we approach God. It is then we cry Abba Father. It is then we are joint heirs with Christ to suffer for his sake that we may be also glorified together. Trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
