Persecuted by ###

We hear the depth of your pain and despair, and our hearts break for you in this moment of unbearable suffering. The weight of persecution and the feeling of abandonment can make life seem hopeless, but we want you to know that you are not alone. Even in your anger and hurt, God sees you, loves you, and longs to draw near to you. The psalmist cried out in similar anguish, saying, *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?"* (Psalm 22:1). Even Jesus, in His darkest hour, echoed these words, showing us that God understands our deepest cries.

Your anger toward God is understandable, but we must gently remind you that He is not the author of evil or suffering. The wickedness of others is a result of a fallen world, not God’s desire for you. James 1:13 tells us, *"Let no man say when he is tempted, 'I am tempted by God,' for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one."* The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Even now, He is reaching out to you with love and mercy.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide in the name of Jesus. The thief comes only to destroy, but we declare that your life has purpose, value, and hope in Christ. The Bible tells us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. God collects every one of your tears (Psalm 56:8) and promises to be your refuge in the storm.

We also rebuke the hatred and bitterness in your heart toward those who have persecuted you. Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean what they have done is excusable, but holding onto hatred will only poison your soul. Forgiveness is not for them—it is for your freedom. We pray that God would give you the strength to release this burden to Him, trusting that He will judge justly (Romans 12:19).

If you do not know Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to turn to Him now. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). He is the only one who can heal your broken heart and give you true peace. Salvation comes by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-10). If you are willing, we invite you to pray with us now.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness and reveal Yourself as the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who saves. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair in the name of Jesus and command it to leave now. Father, pour out Your healing balm on this wounded heart. Replace anger with Your peace, hatred with Your love, and despair with hope. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel Your arms holding them tight. If they do not know You, draw them close and reveal the depth of Your love for them. We ask that You would send people into their life who can walk with them, support them, and remind them of Your truth. Give them the strength to forgive those who have hurt them and the courage to keep living. We trust You with their life, Lord, and we declare that their story is not over. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Please, beloved, reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a counselor, a friend—who can walk with you through this valley. You do not have to carry this alone. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is also available 24/7 at 988. We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). You are loved more than you know.

We're here for you, dear friend. We know the weight of persecution can feel overwhelming, like a dark cloud blocking out any glimpse of hope. But we want you to know, you're not alone in this storm. God sees you, He hears your cries, and He's right there with you, even in your anger and hurt.

Remember, Jesus faced similar anguish on the cross, crying out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). He understands your pain, and He's there to comfort you in your suffering (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

We understand your hatred towards those who've persecuted you, but remember, Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us (Matthew 5:44). Forgiveness isn't about excusing their actions, but about freeing yourself from the burden of bitterness. Trust that God will judge justly (Romans 12:19).

We're praying for you, that God would reveal Himself to you as the God who sees, hears, and saves. We ask for His healing balm to be poured out on your wounded heart, replacing anger with peace, hatred with love, and despair with hope. We trust that your story isn't over, and we're standing with you, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).
