People think badly of me

I am a teenage girl who is going through it currently. Boys are making up lies and rumors about me and painting a false narrative about me which I know deep in my heart is not true because I know myself. and being completely honest I know I have not done these things. its breaking my heart people see me this way and boys can get away with anything they please. I feel like one big joke. no one is going to want to talk to me or be my friend since people always believe men. Lord in Jesus name I pray for you to remove these evil people from my life, for them to stop harassing me and saying stuff about me. it pains me. I'm a young girl who shouldn't be feeling like everyone is against me. I just want to be myself. please Lord let these people find it in their heart to be better people and stop putting me down. thank you

No matter if those boys say things and other boys an girls believe them. Ignore them. The right people will be their for you. Your true friends. I've had stuff happen like this an guys would start trying to take advantage of me an I was weak. So it made things worse...i was in 7th grade, When all mine started. And believe me. You think it ends, but it doesn't!! Especially in small towns. People will hold things over your head for decades girly. They need to get a life right...seems messed up too.....You have to be stronger than them...Please just be strong and act like they dont exist. I pray that you have a shield over you and around you. that whatever they say about you to someone else. or to you, that it doesn't even make you flinch. Who are they? Oh popular. Maybe for now. Also if anyone tries to make advances towards you. Because of the rumors please dont be scared to report them. I know I should have. May God bless you and keep you safe. In Jesus Christ name amen 🙏 🙌
thank you so much for your kind words. I am a senior in highschool and it feels like the world has came crashing down on me.. I deleted all my social media because I cant take it anymore. I feel so horrible inside today I just had an endless pit in my stomach. the boys graduated but I know how stuff spreads. in my heart I know the real me and I wish so deeply I could talk to a trusted adult but I just cant. I feel so lost. I have so much on my mind, I wish I could isolate myself from everyone. this whole situation happened yesterday but this past month I've felt so lost. thank you.

What you are going through is painful and heavy, and God does not overlook it. He sees what is true about you when others repeat what is false, and He hears your prayer for relief and for justice. It is right to bring this hurt to Him honestly, as you have done.

When others slander you, it can feel as if their words decide who you are and whether you will be accepted. Scripture teaches that reputation with people is not the measure of truth. What matters most is who you are before God, who knows your heart fully and loves you completely. Those who speak lies about you may gain a hearing for a time, but they do not escape God’s notice. He is the one who will require an account, and the one who harms you with a false report brings a far worse report upon himself before God, while you remain known and valued by your Father in heaven.

It is also a serious sin to spread rumors and to parade the supposed failings of a neighbor. We are called to cover over faults in love and to speak truthfully, not to gossip or to use words to tear another down. The boys who are harassing you and inventing stories are doing what God condemns, and it is right to pray that they would see the evil of it, repent, and stop.

I pray for you now that the Lord would comfort your heart and guard you from this harassment. May He quiet the lies being spoken, turn people away from listening to gossip, and bring trusted adults around you who will believe you, protect you, and speak up for you. May He show you day by day that your worth is not decided by rumors or by whether boys approve of you, but by being made in His image and loved through Jesus Christ. May He give you courage to remain true to what is right, to not be enslaved to what others think, and to find peace in seeking His approval above all. And may He work in the hearts of those who have hurt you, to bring them to repentance and to make them people who use their words to build up rather than to tear down.

Please do not carry this alone. Talk with a parent, a pastor, or another safe and mature adult who can walk with you, help document what is happening, and take proper steps with your school or community to stop the harassment. Keep bringing your heart to God in prayer, stay close to His Word, and stay near faithful friends and family who know your true character. God is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not abandon you.

You are not a joke. You are seen, you are not forgotten, and your desire to simply be yourself in a way that honors God is good. Keep trusting Him to be your defender and to make the truth clear in His time.

Your pain is real and it is understandable that you feel brokenhearted and alone when lies are being spread about you. To be young and feel that everyone is against you, that you have become a joke and that no one will believe you, is a heavy burden. God sees it, and He hears your prayer.

Scripture warns again and again about deceivers and false witnesses, because lies have always been one of the great curses among people. From the Old Testament prophets through the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, we are told to expect false accusations. They are not always easy to spot. A lie is often most convincing when it is mixed with a little truth, and those who spread it do not wear a sign to show what they are doing. That is why false reports can be so destructive. They create a cloud of suspicion that hurts the innocent and makes others unsure whom to believe.

You said you know in your heart that what is being said about you is not true, and that you have not done these things. Hold fast to that quiet knowledge and to what God knows. People may be quick to believe a rumor, but God is never deceived. He knows you completely, He knows the truth about what has and has not happened, and He loves you as His daughter. His view of you is not shaped by gossip. When others misjudge, He remains the faithful witness who sees clearly.

Jesus Himself knew what it was to have false things spoken against Him. Others twisted His words and brought false charges against Him. He told His followers that they would be blessed even when people speak falsely against them on His account, and that God would be their defender. The Psalms are full of prayers from those who were slandered and harassed, asking God to be a refuge, to silence lying lips, and to let truth come to light.

I pray with you that the Lord will protect you from this harassment and bring it to an end. May He place a guard over your reputation and your heart, comfort you where you have been hurt, and surround you with trustworthy friends and adults who will listen and believe the truth. May He also work in the hearts of those who are spreading these rumors, bringing conviction where there is wrongdoing and leading them to turn from putting you down to seeking what is good and true. And where there are people who need to be removed from close influence in your life for your safety and peace, I pray He will graciously do that.

In the days ahead, keep bringing your heart honestly to the Lord in prayer, and do not carry this alone. Talk with a trusted parent, family member, counselor, or pastor who can walk with you, offer wisdom, and help protect you at school and among peers. Do not try to repay lies with lies, but continue to be yourself, to live quietly and truthfully before God. He is your defender, and in time He brings truth into the light.

May the Lord give you peace that is stronger than rumors, remind you daily that your worth is found in being known and loved by Him through Jesus Christ, and give you courage to keep doing what is right even while others speak wrongly.

Dear God. I accept Jesus has dyed of all of us. God, I am so isolated. I'm a younger age than most of my family. I grew up as a military brat, away from extended family. My friendships were short and fast as they are in that environment. By the time my family stopped moving I was exiting high...
