People think badly of me

Praonararn

Disciple of Prayer
I am a teenage girl who is going through it currently. Boys are making up lies and rumors about me and painting a false narrative about me which I know deep in my heart is not true because I know myself. and being completely honest I know I have not done these things. its breaking my heart people see me this way and boys can get away with anything they please. I feel like one big joke. no one is going to want to talk to me or be my friend since people always believe men. Lord in Jesus name I pray for you to remove these evil people from my life, for them to stop harassing me and saying stuff about me. it pains me. I'm a young girl who shouldn't be feeling like everyone is against me. I just want to be myself. please Lord let these people find it in their heart to be better people and stop putting me down. thank you

We hear how deeply this is hurting your heart and we are standing with you in prayer right now. It is painful and confusing when lies are spoken about you and when it feels like no one will believe the truth. We want you to know that God sees you, He knows the truth, and He loves you dearly. Your identity is not defined by rumors or by what boys or anyone else says about you, but by who you are in Christ.

The Lord is close to you in this brokenhearted place. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We encourage you to keep bringing every hurt and every anxious thought to Him, because He truly cares and He hears you, just as you have prayed in Jesus' name.

God also sees the injustice of false words. To bear false witness against another is sin, as we read in Exodus 20:16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Proverbs 12:19 says Truth's lips will be established forever, but a lying tongue is only momentary. Even when lies feel powerful for a time, truth endures and God will vindicate you. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:11 Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. You are not a joke to God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made as Psalm 139:14 says, and He has created you with purpose and worth.

We also hear your prayer for these boys to stop harassing you and to become better people, and we join with you in that. We pray that God would either remove their harmful influence from your life or transform their hearts to repentance. Isaiah 54:17 gives us confidence that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants. God can silence lying tongues and He can protect your reputation and your peace.

We pray together for you now.

Father in Jesus' name we lift this precious young daughter to You. You know her heart, You know the truth that she has not done these things she is accused of, and You see every tear she has cried. Lord we ask You to surround her with Your protection and peace, to guard her mind from believing these lies and to remind her daily that she is loved, valued, and cherished by You. We ask You to stop the harassment and the rumors, to convict the hearts of these boys who are speaking falsely, and to lead them to repentance and to respect for others. Bring godly friends into her life who will believe her, encourage her, and walk with her in truth. Give wisdom to the adults around her, her parents, teachers, and counselors, to see what is happening and to defend her. Help her to be herself in You, to grow in confidence not in what people think but in what You think of her. Let Your justice and Your mercy be seen in this situation. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to keep walking in honesty and purity before the Lord, to keep being yourself as God made you. Do not let these lies push you into isolation. Please reach out to a trusted adult, a parent, a school counselor, or a pastor or youth leader who can support you and help address the harassment with wisdom and authority. Stay close to Scripture, stay close to prayer, and stay close to friends who honor God and honor you. God is for you, and when God is for us, no rumor can ultimately stand. Romans 8:31 says If God is for us, who can be against us. We are praying for your peace, for your protection, and for God to make the truth clear to all.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, and how painful it is to feel misrepresented by people at school. It makes sense that you feel hurt and lonely when lies are being spread and it feels like no one sees the real you. Knowing in your heart who you are and that these stories are not true is important, and we are glad you are holding onto that truth even while it hurts to be seen so unfairly.

Being talked about this way can make anyone feel like a joke or like friendship is out of reach, but rumors do not decide your worth or who you will become. You deserve to be treated with dignity and to just be yourself without harassment.

One step that can help right now is to let one safe adult in on what is happening in detail, a parent, school counselor, teacher, or youth leader you trust. You do not have to carry this alone or figure out how to get the talk to stop by yourself. If you can, keep a simple private note of what was said and when, and consider taking a break from the places where the rumors spread most, like group chats or social media.

We are praying for you and we care about your safety and peace in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this young woman to You in Jesus' name. You see her clearly and know her heart. Guard her from harassment, surround her with kind and trustworthy friends, give wisdom to the adults who can help her, and bring comfort and rest to her heart. Lead her in Your care and help her to keep being herself. Amen.

No matter if those boys say things and other boys an girls believe them. Ignore them. The right people will be their for you. Your true friends. I've had stuff happen like this an guys would start trying to take advantage of me an I was weak. So it made things worse...i was in 7th grade, When all mine started. And believe me. You think it ends, but it doesn't!! Especially in small towns. People will hold things over your head for decades girly. They need to get a life right...seems messed up too.....You have to be stronger than them...Please just be strong and act like they dont exist. I pray that you have a shield over you and around you. that whatever they say about you to someone else. or to you, that it doesn't even make you flinch. Who are they? Oh popular. Maybe for now. Also if anyone tries to make advances towards you. Because of the rumors please dont be scared to report them. I know I should have. May God bless you and keep you safe. In Jesus Christ name amen 🙏 🙌

It is a painful and lonely thing to be spoken of falsely, and to feel that your good name is being torn by those who do not know you or will not speak the truth about you. The Lord hears your prayer and He knows the truth that others have twisted. Man looks on the outward appearance and often believes the loudest voice, but the Lord looks upon the heart, and He knows that you have not done these things. You are not a joke in His eyes. You are seen, you are known, and you are precious to Him.

If slander is the rod under which you are to smart, many of us have felt it before you, and you need not think that a strange thing has happened to you. Even the faithful have borne false reports and cruel words. Do not cry, Not so, Lord, but let the Lord appoint you care or calumny, sickness or slander, for He knows best, and He can use even this trial to draw you nearer to Himself and to show you where true friendship and true worth are found. One who loved your soul once said that if he would lose his reputation but be blessed to the saving of souls, he would willingly fling his reputation to the winds. Your reputation matters, and it is right to grieve when it is injured, but your soul, your character before God, and your walk with Christ matter infinitely more. God can keep your character when men attack your reputation.

Be assured that those who invent lies and harass you will give account to God. His plumb line is straight and true, and He measures all sin with perfect justice. Sin against light and willful wrongdoing is not forgotten by Him, and those who persist in it without repentance will face His righteous judgment. That should not make you bitter, but it should give you rest, that vengeance belongs to the Lord and He will do what is right.

I pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

Lord Jesus, You see this young daughter who is hurting. You know the lies that have been spoken and the pain they have caused. Comfort her heart where it is broken, and let her know that she is not forsaken and not forgotten. Guard her from these evil words and from those who harass her. Cause the lies to be silenced and the harassment to cease. Remove her from harm and place her among true friends who will love truth and love her well. Give her courage to be herself in You, to walk in purity and in truth, and to find her identity not in what boys or others say, but in what You say about her as one made in Your image and loved by You. Work in the hearts of those who have slandered her, bring them to see their sin, to repent, and to become better men who speak truth and show kindness. Keep her through this season, give wisdom to any parents, teachers and godly leaders around her to protect and help her, and let her feel that she is not alone, for You are with her. Amen.

Keep close to the Lord in prayer and in His Word, and do not walk through this alone. Tell a trusted parent, pastor, or godly woman in your church what is happening so they can stand with you, protect you, and speak for you when you feel no one will listen. The Lord will be your defender, and in time He will make the truth known.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this young girl to You. You are her defender, for *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (**Exodus 14:14**). Protect her from lies and rumors, for *"no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that accuses her she will refute"* (**Isaiah 54:17**). Heal her broken heart, for *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted"* (**Psalm 34:18**). Surround her with true friends and let her be seen for who she truly is. Bring conviction to those who hurt her.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

This is a learning experience for you that God is blessing you with. The lesson is that these people will exist your entire life and it is up to you to simply be who you are and place no importance on what others say about you and think of you. The only important thing is what God thinks of you! The lesson is not an easy one, but when you succeed in releasing yourself from everyone's opinion of you, you will be blessed with a peace that will never leave you! 🌹🙏

Dear God. I accept Jesus has dyed of all of us. God, I am so isolated. I'm a younger age than most of my family. I grew up as a military brat, away from extended family. My friendships were short and fast as they are in that environment. By the time my family stopped moving I was exiting high...
