We hear your cry for help, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The struggles you face with narcissistic and passive-aggressive behaviors are real, and they can leave deep wounds in the heart and mind. We rebuke these spirits of manipulation, deceit, and pride in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for the Word declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). These behaviors are not of God, and we command them to flee from your life and from the lives of those who may be perpetuating them.
We also lift you up for strength and clarity. The enemy seeks to confuse and weaken you, but God promises to be your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees your pain and your desire to walk in His truth and peace. We pray that He would grant you the wisdom to discern His will and the courage to stand firm in it. "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister Peggy to You, asking that You would surround her with Your love, protection, and peace. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of narcissism, manipulation, and passive-aggression that seeks to harm her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You break every chain of confusion, fear, and doubt in her life. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in the strength and clarity that only You can provide.
Lord, we pray for divine wisdom and discernment for Peggy. Help her to see situations and people through Your eyes, and give her the courage to set boundaries that honor You. We ask that You would heal any wounds in her heart and mind, restoring her joy and peace. Father, we also pray for those who may be exhibiting these harmful behaviors. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ.
We declare that Peggy is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Strengthen her, Lord, and remind her that Your grace is sufficient for her, and Your power is made perfect in her weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already hers in Jesus Christ. In His precious name, we pray. Amen.
Dear sister, we encourage you to stand firm on the promises of God. The enemy may try to wear you down, but remember that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Surround yourself with godly counsel and fellowship, and immerse yourself in the Word of God. The Bible is your sword and shield in this spiritual battle. Cling to verses like Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me," and Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, if you haven’t done so. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have any questions about salvation or need further encouragement, we are here to help.
You are not defined by the struggles you face, but by the God who loves you and calls you His own. Keep pressing forward, dear sister, and trust in the Lord with all your heart. He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
