Please pray my son will have sweet peaceful rest tonight with no bad dream. Lord help him adjust to our air conditioner not working tonight. It is really hot in our house. Lord I pray he will adjust great with his new schedule tonight with his caregiver and will not be noisy. My younger daughter needs to study this weekend and have to be up early in the morning tomorrow. I pray my son will be calm, relax, satisfy and quiet for the rest of tonight with no negative behaviors, so my daughter and her dog can have a peaceful restful sleep. I know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. Jesus bless his meals tonight so he will eat peaceful with no discomfort. Lord I rebuke all anxiety, screaming, rigid habits, fear, spiritual attacks, witchcraft, word curses, stubborness, restlessness, moody swing, disobedient and anything not of You to be gone forever and never return in Jesus name to steal the peace in our home. Bless him with Your continue peace tonight. The kind that surpasses all understanding. Lord, I rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, discomfort and confusion that has sought to disrupt my son's peace. Lord I ask that You remove any negative habit, rigidity, discomfort and anything not of You to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever. I declare that abundance of peace, joy, and satisfaction over his life. Father, I ask You to surround him with Your hedge of protection, ministry angels and full armor to shield him from all attacks. No weapon formed against him shall prosper. Clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Let ministering angels encamp around him, guarding him in all his ways. I pray for healing in his mind, body, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). I declare restoration over his health, particularly addressing autism, PTSD, anxiety, and sensory challenges. Lord, remove every source of physical distress, discomfort, and pain. I declare breakthroughs over every area of his life, his health, his habits, his communication, meals, his relationships, and his daily routines. Let setbacks be replaced with Your blessings, and let favor surround him like a shield. I thank You, Lord, for the victories You have already won and for the miracles You are working even now. We join with you in lifting up your son and your entire household tonight, asking our Heavenly Father to pour out His perfect peace over your home even as the heat and the broken air conditioner make comfort difficult.

We are encouraged by your faith as you declare that nothing is impossible for God, for as it is written, For nothing spoken by God is impossible Luke 1:37. We stand in agreement with you that the Lord hears and answers according to His perfect will when we gather together in His name, for Jesus said, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them Matthew 18:20.

We thank God for your love for your son and your daughter and we bring before the Lord his need for sweet and peaceful rest. We pray that God will guard his mind from bad dreams and fill his sleep with calm. We remember the promise, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8, and, For he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2. We ask the Father to help him adjust with grace to the heat in the house and to the change in his schedule with his caregiver tonight. We pray that the Lord will give him a spirit of calm and quietness, so that he may rest without restlessness, anxiety, or negative behaviors, and that this peace will allow your younger daughter and even her dog to have the restful sleep she needs to study and to rise early tomorrow.

We agree with you in rebuking every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, confusion and discomfort that would seek to steal his peace. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We declare that no weapon that is formed against him will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and we ask the Lord to surround him with His hedge of protection and to give His angels charge over him, to guard him in all his ways Psalm 91:11. We pray that you and he would be clothed with the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.

We lift up his meals tonight and pray the Lord will bless them so he may eat in peace with no discomfort, and we ask for healing over his mind, body and spirit. We claim the promise, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We pray specifically for his needs related to autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges, asking the Lord to remove every source of physical distress and pain, to calm his nervous system, and to grant him deep satisfaction, joy and rest. We pray that his routines, activities and interactions would be filled with gentleness and that he would be able to communicate with confidence and be met with understanding.

We also pray for you, for his caregivers, and for your family and friends, that God would fill you all with wisdom, patience and discernment beyond your own strength. We ask that God would provide godly mentors and friends to encourage him, and that He would strengthen the bonds between him and his siblings with love, compassion and unity, removing any division or isolation.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him. Lord, we ask You to let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard the hearts and thoughts of this dear son in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Father, we lift this home to You tonight. Please guard your son's sleep from bad dreams, calm his body and mind, and let him eat and rest without distress. How tenderly the Lord has taught you to bring every little care of the household before His throne, even the heat of the night and the broken provision for cool air, the meals, the rest, and the quiet of your children.

Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose ourselves and therefore we naturally sleep, but it is not so. He bestows it, He rocks the cradle for us every night, He draws the curtain of darkness, He bids the sun shut up his burning eyes, and then He comes and says, Sleep, sleep, my child, I give thee sleep. So He giveth His beloved sleep, and that sleep is a sleep of security, for they sleep in Jesus, kept by Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

I join my prayer with yours for your dear son, that the Lord who knows his frame, his autism and his sensory trials, his anxieties and the memories that trouble him, would grant him this night a calm and peaceful rest, without fear or bad dreams, without restlessness or torment. May the Lord in mercy temper the heat to him, quiet his body, give him comfort in his eating and ease in his new schedule with his caregiver, and clothe him with gentleness and satisfaction in all his ways. By the stripes of Jesus we look for healing in body, mind and spirit, and we ask that every spirit of fear and confusion be driven away by the power of His name, for no weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall prosper.

We ask also for those who care for him, for yourself and for all who watch over him, that God would give wisdom, patience and discernment, as a mother watches by the bedside of her sick child sustained by love. Remember that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and be as a weaned child, content and quietly dependent upon its mother, so may your soul rest upon the Lord.
