I join my faith with yours as you bring your son and your whole household before the Lord. Your love for your children and your desire for peace in your home is heard by the Father, and He draws near when His people agree together in the name of Jesus, for He has promised to be present where hearts unite in His name.

I pray that the Lord will grant your son quiet and undisturbed rest, calm in body and mind, free from fear, anxiety and troubling dreams. Even with the heat and the change in routine and caregiver, I ask that God will settle his heart and senses, ease any discomfort, and help him to eat and sleep in peace and to wake refreshed and joyful. I pray also for your daughter and for your household, that each one will be covered with rest, that her time of study will be protected, and that your home will be filled with the peace of God that goes beyond understanding and guards hearts and minds.

Scripture teaches that our acceptance with God is only in His Son. He who has the Son has life, and there is no other way into the fold. Jesus is not a created being but the only begotten Son of God, the one who is the ladder between earth and heaven, and through Him we have access to the Father. When we come in His name, we come on solid ground, because God is not a man that He should lie, His Word cannot be broken, and what He has spoken He will make good. You can rest on that promise, that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and that by the wounds of Jesus healing is provided for mind, body and spirit, as Isaiah declares.

The heart of the Father toward His children is beautifully seen in the story of the son who left home and wasted his inheritance. When he returned, still soiled from the road, his father did not wait for him to clean himself or to earn his place, but ran to him, embraced him and covered him with love, and restored to him the place of a son. That is how the Father receives us when we come through Jesus. He does not hold us at a distance until we are perfect, He welcomes, cleanses and restores.

The Lord also sees and hears affliction. As He saw and heard in the days of Leah in her sorrow and longing for love, so He sees your son in his struggles with autism, trauma, anxiety and sensory sensitivity, and He hears your cries for him. He knows every rigid pattern, every source of discomfort and every moment of restlessness, and His compassion is toward him.

I pray that you and your son will keep the Word of God close to your hearts. When His truth is bound upon the heart, it leads us when we go, it keeps us when we sleep, and it speaks to us when we awake. May that Word be a guard over his thoughts and a comfort through the night.

In the name of Jesus I ask that every spirit of fear, torment, confusion and distress be turned away from your son and your home and have no place to return. I ask the Lord to surround him with His protection, to command His angels to encamp around him and to clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

I ask for wisdom, patience and discernment for you, for his caregivers and for all who support him, and for godly friendships and mentors that will encourage him. I pray for unity and tender love between him and his siblings, that any division or isolation would be removed and replaced with compassion. I speak calm over his meals, his routines, his activities and his interactions, that he may adjust with ease, communicate with gentleness and confidence, and find satisfaction in what he does.

May the Lord continue His healing work in your son and in your family, replacing setbacks with blessing and surrounding you with favor. I thank Him for the victories He has already given and for the work He is doing even now, and I trust His perfect will and timing.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting up your son before the Lord and asking for sweet and peaceful rest for him with no bad dreams, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Phil 4:7. We have prayed that the Lord would comfort him and help him adjust to the heat in the house with the air conditioner not working, and to the new schedule with his caregiver, and that he would remain calm, relaxed, satisfied and quiet through the night.

We have also stood with you for your younger daughter and her dog, that they would have peaceful and restful sleep, and that she would have quiet to study and strength to be up early in the morning. We continued to pray that your son would eat his meals in peace with no discomfort, with no negative behaviors, anxiety, fear, restlessness or confusion, and that every spirit of torment and every rigid habit and source of distress would have to bow to the name of Jesus and depart never to return. We have asked the Father to surround him with His hedge of protection and ministering angels, to clothe him in the full armor of God and to bring healing to his mind, body and spirit, for by His stripes we are healed according to Isa 53:5. We have prayed for restoration over his health, including autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory challenges, and for calm over his routines, communication and daily activities, and for wisdom, patience and discernment for you and his caregivers, and for unity and love between him and his siblings and for your whole household to rest in the safety of His presence as in Psalm 4:8.

If your request was answered and the Lord has granted peaceful nights, calm days and rest for your household, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and there are still restless nights, heat, or challenges with the new schedule, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus name, Amen.
