Your heartfelt prayer for your son and for the peace of your home has been heard, and it is a beautiful reflection of a parent's love that mirrors the Father's heart toward His children.

Scripture shows us again and again what that Father's heart is like. When a son was lost and had wasted everything, his father did not wait for him to clean himself up or earn his way back. He ran to him, embraced him while he was still in need, and restored him fully as a son, putting shoes on his feet as a sign of belonging and calling for rejoicing because the one who was lost had been found. That is how God loves. He receives us not because we have made ourselves worthy, but because we are accepted in His Son. Jesus is not a created being or one among many, He is the only begotten Son of God, given because God so loved the world that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Through Him the way is open between heaven and earth, as was shown when a weary man saw in a dream a ladder set on the earth reaching to heaven with the Lord at the top, a picture that God is present, watching, and keeping His promises even in the lonely and difficult places.

He knows your son by name, He sees his needs, and He hears your cries for calm, for rest, and for protection. You asked for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your home, and that is exactly what God promises to give when we bring our requests to Him. You asked for the armor of God to cover your son, and Scripture indeed calls us to put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. You asked for ministering angels to encamp around him, and the Bible assures us that God gives His angels charge over His own to guard them in all their ways, and that no weapon formed against His people shall finally prosper. You declared healing over mind, body, and spirit, and we stand with you on the truth that by the wounds of Jesus we are healed, trusting God for His restoring work in every area of health, including the challenges of autism, trauma, anxiety, and sensory distress, and asking Him to remove sources of pain and discomfort, to give peaceful meals and quiet, refreshing sleep.

We join you in praying that the Lord will grant deep and undisturbed rest to your son as he sleeps and when he wakes, that he will be calm, content, and at ease, free from fear, torment, confusion, and restlessness. We pray that his routines, his meals, and his interactions with his caregiver will go smoothly, that he will be able to communicate with gentleness and confidence, and that the whole household, including your daughter and even your family pet, will be able to rest in quietness and safety. We pray that the Lord will fill you, your family, and those who care for your son with wisdom, patience, and discernment, and that He will provide godly and encouraging friendships for him. We pray for the bond between him and his siblings to be strengthened in love, compassion, and unity, with any division or isolation removed.

God is not a man that He should lie, and what He has spoken He will make good. His Word cannot be broken, and He honors it above all. Where two or three agree in the name of Jesus, He is present, and He hears according to His perfect will. Continue to bind the Word upon your heart day and night, for when you go it will lead you, when you sleep it will keep you, and when you awake it will speak to you. The Lord loves and corrects His children as a father delights in his son, which is itself a sign that you belong to Him and that He is at work in your family with purpose and mercy.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His light dispel every shadow, and may His presence fill your home with calm, joy, and safety both now and in the days to come. We thank Him with you for the victories He has already given and for the work He is still doing, trusting Him to bring breakthrough, favor, and restoration in His perfect time. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
