Beloved Warrior
Please pray my son will have sweet peaceful rest tonight with no bad dream. Lord help him adjust to our air conditioner not working tonight. It is really hot in our house. Lord I pray he will adjust great with his new schedule tonight with his caregiver and will not be noisy. My younger daughter needs to study this weekend and have to be up early in the morning tomorrow. I pray my son he will be calm, relax, satisfy and quiet for the rest of tonight with no negative behaviors, so my daughter and her dog can have a peaceful restful sleep. I know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. Jesus bless his meals tonight so he will eat peaceful with no discomfort. Lord I rebuke all anxiety, screaming, rigid habits, fear, spiritual attacks, witchcraft, word curses, stubborness, restlessness, moody swing, disobedient and anything not of You to be gone forever and never return in Jesus name to steal the peace in our home. Bless him with Your continue peace tonight. The kind that surpasses all understanding. Lord, I rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, discomfort and confusion that has sought to disrupt my son's peace. Lord I ask that You remove any negative habit, rigidity, discomfort and anything not of You to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever. I declare that abundance of peace, joy, and satisfaction over his life. Father, I ask You to surround him with Your hedge of protection, ministry angels and full armor to shield him from all attacks. No weapon formed against him shall prosper. Clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Let ministering angels encamp around him, guarding him in all his ways. I pray for healing in his mind, body, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). I declare restoration over his health, particularly addressing autism, PTSD, anxiety, and sensory challenges. Lord, remove every source of physical distress, discomfort, and pain. Let him eat in peace, sleep without disturbance, and wake refreshed, full of Your joy and strength. I speak calm over his schedule, his meals, his routines, his activites and his interactions. May he adjust with ease, communicate with gentleness and confidence, and find satisfaction in all he does. Father, I ask You to fill his caregivers, me, our family and friends with wisdom, patience, and discernment. Provide godly mentors and friends who will encourage and uplift him. Restore and strengthen the bonds between him and his siblings, filling their relationships with love, compassion, and unity. Remove any division, isolation, or negative influence that seeks to harm these relationships. Let my son be a beacon of Your light, reflecting Your love and grace in all he does. I declare breakthroughs over every area of his life, his health, his habits, his communication, meals, his relationships, and his daily routines. Let setbacks be replaced with Your blessings, and let favor surround him like a shield. I thank You, Lord, for the victories You have already won and for the miracles You are working even now. Your Word says that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in their midst (Matthew 18:20). We stand together in agreement, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. I pray for my entire household, that we may all rest in the peace of God tonight and every night. May His bright light dispel every shadow of darkness, and may His presence fill my home with calm, joy, and safety. Lord bless my younger daughter and her dog with restful sleep, and I ask You to continue guiding and protecting my family in all our travels and daily activities. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son and your whole household before the throne of grace tonight and we thank you for inviting us to stand in agreement with you in Jesus name.

We hear your heart for your son to have sweet and peaceful rest with no bad dreams, to adjust well to the heat with the air conditioner not working, and to transition calmly with his new schedule and caregiver without noisy or negative behaviors so that your younger daughter and her dog can also have restful sleep as she prepares to study and rise early. We also join you in praying that his meals tonight will be peaceful and without discomfort.

We love your faith that declares nothing is impossible for the Lord and we agree with your rebuke of every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, confusion, restlessness, stubbornness and disobedience and every spiritual attack, word curse and anything not of God that would seek to steal the peace of your home. Scripture tells us For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and we claim that promise over your son tonight. We also agree that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7.

We pray together for him now. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we ask for Your perfect peace to fill this home tonight. We ask that You guard his heart and mind with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Let him lie down and sleep in peace, for You, Yahweh alone, make him live in safety Psalm 4:8. We ask You to give Your beloved sleep Psalm 127:2 and to keep bad dreams far from him. Lord, cool his body in this heat, comfort any sensory distress, soothe his nervous system and help him adjust with calmness and flexibility to the change in temperature and to his caregiver and new schedule. We pray that he will be calm, relaxed, satisfied and quiet through the night, that he will eat peacefully with no discomfort in his body, and that he will wake refreshed, joyful and strengthened. By Your wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and we speak Your healing and restoration over his mind, body and spirit, including every challenge related to autism, PTSD, anxiety and sensory sensitivity. Remove every source of pain and distress and let Your joy be his strength.

We clothe him by faith with the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word Ephesians 6:14-17, and we ask for Your hedge of protection and ministering angels to encamp around him and guard him in all his ways Psalm 91:11. Let every rigid habit and restlessness bow to the name of Jesus and depart and never return, and let abundance of peace, joy and satisfaction rest upon him.

We also lift up your younger daughter and her dog for restful and uninterrupted sleep, and for focus and strength as she studies, and we pray for wisdom, patience and discernment for you, for his caregivers and for your whole family James 1:5. We ask You to restore and strengthen the bonds between him and his siblings with love, compassion and unity, removing any division or isolation. We thank You that where two or three are gathered together in Your name, there You are in the middle of them Matthew 18:20 and we trust You hear and will answer according to Your perfect will. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We encourage you to continue to speak calm and truth over his routines, meals and interactions, and to keep his environment as cool and soothing as possible tonight with hydration, light clothing, cool cloths and gentle reassurance about the change in schedule. Your faithful prayers and declarations of peace are powerful and pleasing to the Lord, and we see your love and diligence as a mother reflecting His care. We declare breakthrough over every area of his life, his health, habits, communication and daily routines, and we thank the Lord for the victories He has already won and the miracles He is working even now. May His bright light dispel every shadow of darkness and may His presence fill your home with calm, joy and safety tonight and every night. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We are praying with you for a peaceful night for your whole household, especially for your son as he faces a hot house and a new caregiver schedule, and for your daughter as she needs rest to study and be up early.

We hear how much you are holding at once, wanting your son to feel safe and comfortable, wanting your daughter and even her dog to be able to sleep, and wanting everyone to have enough patience and calm to get through tonight. When the air conditioner is out and routines shift, it makes sense that a sensitive child would feel more unsettled, and that you would feel stretched thin trying to protect everyone's rest.

One thing that has helped other families in a tight spot like this is to keep tonight's rhythm as predictable as you can and make sure his caregiver has a very simple, written picture of what helps him most at bedtime and mealtime. If you can, give your daughter a backup option for quiet too, like a separate room or a fan for white noise, so she doesn't have to worry about being woken.

You are doing faithful, demanding work caring for both your children, and we don't take that lightly. We are asking God to give you and his caregivers extra wisdom and steadiness tonight.

Jesus, we bring this family to You tonight. Please draw near to this son and grant him calm, comfort, and rest without fear or distress. Watch over his body and mind, bless his meals, and let him wake refreshed. Cover this home with Your peace and protection, and give his mom, his sister, and his caregiver deep, restoring sleep. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son and for your household has been laid before the Lord, and we join with you in seeking His mercy this night.

You have asked for that which only God can give. Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose our bodies in a peaceful posture and therefore we naturally and necessarily sleep, but it is not so. So He giveth His beloved sleep. There is a sleep of contentment which the Christian enjoys, and a sleep of security, for the Lord Himself watches over His own. When the heat presses upon the house and the accustomed comfort of cool air is withdrawn, when a new schedule and a new caregiver bring change which is hard to bear, still the Lord is able to give quietness to both body and mind, and to make even a warm room a place of rest under His wing.

You have carried a heavy burden of care, and your heart has been full of anxiety for your son and for your daughter who must study and rise early. Hear this word for your own soul, for I have found by experience and by observation that anxiety has never comforted anybody, nor has it brought any grist to the mill. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon the Shepherd, for He knows you and He knows your son with all his sensitiveness, that timidity, that anxiety, that constitutional depression, He knows it all. As His secret is with you, so your secret is with Him. He knows what you have been trying to do, and He marks every tear and every prayer offered in the night.

There is seldom a family which has no weak or sickly member, and so it is in the household of faith. Yet I have heard it truly said that when one of her family is a little weak, the mother is sure to love that one best and show it the most attention. Her most tender thoughts will always turn towards her helpless child. How much more does the great Shepherd love and tend His lame sheep. You love all your children alike, but when one is ill and likely to suffer, your thoughts turn most to him. So the Lord has His eye peculiarly upon your son in his autism and sensory trials, his anxieties and distresses, and He will not leave him nor forsake him.

Let us pray together.

Our gracious Father, we come to Thee in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access and salvation, and we ask for Thy peace which surpasses all understanding to guard the hearts and minds of this family. Give to this dear son sweet and peaceful rest tonight with no bad dream. Quiet his body, calm his mind, and still every fear, torment, restlessness and confusion that would steal his peace. Let every spirit of fear bow to the name of Jesus and depart, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Thy Word. Command Thy ministering angels to encamp around him and around this home, guarding him in all his ways.

Lord, Thou knowest the heat within the house and the trial of the air conditioner not working. Grant relief and help him to adjust with gentleness and satisfaction. Bless his meals tonight that he may eat in peace with no discomfort, and let him awake refreshed, full of Thy joy and strength. Speak calm over his schedule, his routines, his activities and his interactions, and help him to communicate with gentleness and confidence. Bring healing in his mind, body and spirit according to Thy perfect will, for by the stripes of Jesus we are healed, and grant ease from every source of physical distress and pain.

We ask also for Thy wisdom, patience and discernment for his caregivers and for his mother, and for godly mentors and friends who will encourage and uplift him. Restore and strengthen the bonds between him and his siblings, filling their relationships with love, compassion and unity, and remove every division and negative influence that would harm them. Bless the younger daughter and even her dog with restful and undisturbed sleep, and help her in her studies as she rises early. Let Thy bright light dispel every shadow of darkness, and fill this home with calm, joy and safety.

We thank Thee for victories already won and for mercies yet to come, and we rest upon Thy promise that where two or three are gathered in Thy name, Thou art in the midst. We ask all this not because we are worthy, but for the sake of Jesus our only hope, in whose name we pray. Amen.
