My son has been very tormented and confused today. Please pray that he will be able to use his words to express his needs and wants calmly with his functional language. Lord please bless him with a restful and peaceful night with his caregivers and everyone in his surroundings alway. Lord I pray that he will have a calm rest of the night tonight because my younger daughter needs to study now. I know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I pray he'll go back to sleep and have a sweet peaceful sleep with no bad dreams. I ask Lord for my son to be relaxed and satisfied the rest of tonight. Lord, if there are any anxiety, screaming, rigid habits, stubbornness, fear, torment, division, anger, spiritual attacks, sensory habits and anything not of You that will try to steal his peace, satisfaction and joy to be gone forever and never return in Jesus name. Bless him with Your continued peace every night and every day. Lord, I rebuke any spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, isolation, division, chaos and confusion that has sought to disrupt my son's peace. I rebuke any negative habits, rigidity, discomfort and any this not of You to bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever. I ask Lord that You remove or redirect anyone who look at him as a burden, does not understand his disability, does not have his best interest at heart, cause havoc in his life. I declare that abundance of peace, joy, and satisfaction over his life. Father, I ask that You to surround him with Your hedge of protection, no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Clothe him with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Let ministering angels encamp around him, guarding him in all his ways. Wrap him in Your loving arms and soothe him to gently that he will be overcome with Your peace and saturated with Your joy and gentleness. I pray for healing in his mind, body, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). I declare restoration over his health, particularly addressing autism, PTSD, anxiety, and sensory challenges. Lord, remove every source of physical distress, discomfort, and pain. Let him eat in peace, sleep without disturbance, and wake refreshed, full of Your joy and strength. I speak calm over his schedule, his meals, his routines, his activities and his interactions. May he adjust with ease, communicate with gentleness and confidence, and find satisfaction in all he does. Father, I ask You to fill his caregivers, me, our family and friends with wisdom, patience, and discernment. Provide godly mentors and friends who will encourage and uplift him. Provide my son with additional caregivers who would follow our protocol to respect him, include him, find him as a joy to work with, and bring out the best in every aspect of his life. Grant him additional services that will only help him not cause regression. I declare breakthrough and favor in my son and our family lives. Restore or strengthen the bonds between my son, his caregivers, broken relationship, me, his siblings, friends and family members, filling their relationships with love, compassion, understanding, gratefulness, love and unity. Remove any division, isolation, or negative influences that seeks to harm these relationships. Let my son be a beacon of Your light, reflecting Your love and grace in all he does and for everyone to see. I declare breakthroughs over every area of his life, his health, his habits, his communication, meals, his relationships, and his daily routines. Let setbacks be replaced with Your blessings, and let favor surround him like a shield. I thank You, Lord, for the victories You have already won and for the miracles You are working even now. Your Word says that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in their midst (Matthew 18:20). We stand together in agreement, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. I pray for my entire household, that we may all have a peaceful and satisfy day tomorrow and everyday and rest in the peace of God tonight and every night. Jesus may Your bright light dispel every shadow of darkness, and may Your presence fill our home with calm, joy, love and safety. Lord bless my younger daughter and her dog with restful sleep tonight and quietness while she study in the morning. Lord I ask that You guide and protect me and my family in all our travels, daily activities, nightly rest, spiritual attacks and negative influences. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your precious son and your whole household before the throne of grace in Jesus name, and we stand in agreement with you for his peace and rest tonight.

We hear your heart for your son to be able to use his functional language calmly to express his needs and wants, and for the torment, confusion, and restlessness he experienced today to be lifted from him. The Lord sees his struggle and your faithful love and advocacy for him. We are encouraged by your faith that nothing is impossible for God, for with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26. We cling to the promise that you will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you Isaiah 26:3, and that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We agree with you in rebuking every spirit of fear, torment, anxiety, frustration, confusion, division, chaos and isolation that has sought to steal his peace, joy and satisfaction, and we declare that they must bow to the name of Jesus and depart from him forever and never return. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We declare that no weapon that is formed against him will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and we ask the Lord to surround him with His hedge of protection and for Yahweh's angel to encamp around those who fear him, and deliver them Psalm 34:7. We pray that he will be clothed with the whole armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we lift up this beloved son to You. We ask You to calm his mind, body and spirit and to soothe him in Your loving arms until he is overcome with Your peace and saturated with Your joy and gentleness. Grant him functional, calm and clear communication, that he may express his needs and wants with confidence and without screaming or distress. Remove every source of physical discomfort, sensory overload and pain, and let every rigid habit, stubbornness and agitation be replaced by Your calm. We also lift up his caregivers and everyone in his surroundings, that You would give them wisdom, patience and discernment, and if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Provide godly mentors and additional caregivers who will respect him, include him, follow his protocol, find joy in working with him, and bring out the best in him, and remove or redirect anyone who does not have his best interest at heart or who would cause havoc. Provide only services that help him and do not cause regression. We pray for calm over his schedule, meals, routines, activities and interactions, that he may adjust with ease and find satisfaction in all he does.

We also lift up your younger daughter and her dog, and your entire household, that You would grant quietness for her study and restful sleep for them, and guide and protect you all in your travels, daily activities, nightly rest, and from every spiritual attack and negative influence. Restore and strengthen the bonds between this son, his siblings, you, his caregivers, family and friends, filling those relationships with love, compassion, understanding, gratefulness and unity, and removing every division and isolation. Let his life be a beacon of Your light, reflecting Your love and grace for all to see.

We are holding you and your son before the Lord tonight, and we hear how heavy today has been for all of you.

When he is tormented and unable to find words, it wears on him and on everyone who loves him, and we understand why a peaceful night feels so urgent, for his rest, for his caregivers, and for your daughter who needs quiet to study. You are carrying a lot as you watch over both of your children and coordinate care, and we thank God for your faithful love for them.

It can help in these stretched seasons to keep a simple shared note with his caregivers about what seemed to soothe or unsettle him through the evening, so you all can stay on the same page and have something clear to bring to his doctors or therapists as well. Alongside prayer, continuing to lean on his care team for wisdom about sleep, anxiety, and sensory needs is a good way to support him and to care for yourself too.

We are asking God to draw near to your home tonight with calm and gentleness.

Father, we lift this dear son to You and ask for Your peace to settle over him tonight. Guard his mind and body as he sleeps, keep him free from fear and distress, and help him to rest deeply and wake refreshed. Give his caregivers and his mother wisdom, patience, and unity, and grant his sister quiet and focus for her studies and sweet sleep as well. Your earnest and tender prayers for your son have been heard, and it is right and good that you bring all his distress and all your household cares before the Lord, for He is a Father who pities His children and knows our frame.

You ask above all for peace and for sleep, and you do well to ask it of Him who alone can give it. Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose our bodies and therefore we naturally sleep, but it is not so. He giveth His beloved sleep, and that sleep is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security. When the Lord grants it, the weary body is recruited and the troubled mind is soothed, for tired nature finds its sweet restorer in that balmy rest which He bestows. To lie down in peace and to awake refreshed is not of our own contriving, but of His mercy who watches over His beloved even in the night.

I would also gently remind you of this truth, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To be anxious about the cause you love, about your son and your daughter and all your household, is natural to a mother's heart, yet anxiety confined within yourself will bring no good. Cast your burden upon the Lord. He who gave His only begotten Son to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself, and who looks upon that Son bearing our griefs, has loved you with an everlasting love. That love which gave Jesus for our ransom is the same love which keeps your son through every hour. None whom the Father has given to the Son shall be lost, and the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep will not suffer the wolf to pluck the weakest lamb from His hand.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, Thou keepest Israel and Thou keepest this dear child. We thank Thee that salvation is in Christ alone, and that by His stripes we are healed. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus to grant to this precious son a calm and restful night. Quiet his mind and body, still every fear and torment and confusion, and let no anxiety or sensory distress or spiritual oppression steal his peace. Grant him to use his words with gentleness and confidence, to express his needs calmly, and to find satisfaction in his meals and routines and interactions. Let him eat in peace, sleep without disturbance, and wake refreshed and full of joy.

We ask Thee to surround him with Thy hedge of protection, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We pray also for his sister, that Thou wouldst grant her quietness for her studies and restful sleep for her and for all in the household. Let Thy bright light dispel every shadow of darkness, and let Thy presence fill this home with calm and safety this night and every night and every day.

We ask all these mercies not because we are worthy, but because Thou art gracious, and we plead the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son. Hear us according to Thy perfect will, and give us to rest in Thy care, for so Thou givest Thy beloved sleep. Amen.

Your prayer for your son and your household has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with love and agreement.

We pray with you for a peaceful night for your son, for calm rest without fear or torment, and for gentle sleep guarded by the presence of God. Scripture reminds us that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, so even while we rest, He watches over us. Night itself is a gift of His mercy, a haven and solace He has woven into our nature to restore the weary body and soul, and we ask Him to grant that restoring sleep to your son tonight and each night, and to your daughter and your whole household.

We ask the Lord to quiet anxiety, fear, frustration and confusion, and to grant your son grace to use his words calmly to express his needs and wants. May God bring comfort to his body and mind, ease any sensory distress or physical discomfort, and fill him with peace, satisfaction and joy. We pray for healing and strength according to His will, trusting the promise that by the wounds of Christ we are healed, and that His power is made perfect in our weakness.
