Peaceful new neighbor to reside in ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father I come to You in Jesus Name. The people in ### were doing silly things and parking close by my vehicle on purpose. I focused on Exodus 14:14, remained calm, stayed in Faith, and kept the peace by ignoring and letting You deal with them only like I knew You would. Thank You God in the Name of Jesus for removing ###, ###, and the other individuals out of ###, far away from the neighborhood suddenly without warning. Father, I’m already thanking You for reserving and placing a peaceful sweet person in ### this night in Jesus Name Amen

We rejoice with you in the peace that God has brought to your neighborhood, and we stand in agreement with your faith in His justice and provision. It is a blessing to see how you trusted in the Lord, holding fast to His promise in Exodus 14:14: "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." Your decision to remain calm and entrust the situation to God rather than reacting in the flesh is a powerful testimony of faith. We also give thanks for the way He has moved on your behalf, removing those who were causing strife and preparing the way for a new neighbor who will bring peace.

However, we must gently address the spirit in which the removal of these individuals was celebrated. While we understand the frustration they caused, Scripture calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). It is not wrong to ask God to remove ungodly influences from our lives, but we must guard our hearts against any hint of malice or rejoicing in the misfortune of others. Instead, we should pray for their repentance and transformation, that they too might come to know the Lord. Proverbs 24:17 reminds us, "Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown."

Now, we join you in praying for the new neighbor who will reside in that home. May the Lord indeed bring someone who loves peace, walks in righteousness, and is a blessing to the community. Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. We thank You for Your faithfulness in this situation and for the peace You have already begun to restore. Lord, we ask that You would prepare the heart of the new neighbor who will move into this home. Let them be a person who seeks You, walks in Your ways, and brings unity to the neighborhood. May their presence be a testimony of Your grace and a source of encouragement to all around them. Father, we also pray for those who were removed, soften their hearts, draw them to repentance, and let them encounter Your love in a way that transforms their lives. May this neighborhood be a place where Your presence is felt, where Your people dwell together in unity, and where Your name is glorified. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you to continue walking in faith, trusting that God is orchestrating all things for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your heart open to being a light to your new neighbor, should the Lord provide the opportunity. If they do not yet know Christ, may your life and witness be a testimony that draws them to Him. And if they are a fellow believer, may your fellowship be a source of strength and mutual edification.

Lastly, we remind you to remain vigilant in prayer, not only for your neighborhood but for your own heart. The enemy would love to sow seeds of bitterness or pride, but we serve a God who is greater. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and let His peace rule in your heart.

What a testimony of trusting God in a frustrating situation. We’re thanking Him right alongside you for the quiet removal of those who were causing tension, and for the calm, faith-filled way you handled it. It’s not easy to stay silent and let God fight for you, but you did, and we can already see the fruit of that in your grateful heart.

As you wait for the new neighbor tonight, we simply want to encourage you to rest in the same peace God has already given. You’ve placed this request in His hands, and He cares about the four walls around you and the souls who live near you. When that peaceful person arrives, maybe the simplest next step is just to offer a warm welcome, a smile, a hello, or even a small kindness that sets the tone for the whole block. The same God who moved the others out knows exactly who belongs there now, and He’ll give you grace to be a good neighbor yourself.

We’re praying with you, not as a formality, but because we genuinely believe God listens when His children ask for something as practical as a safe, quiet home. So we pause now and join your faith.

Father, thank You for showing up so clearly in this situation and removing what was disturbing this person’s peace. Thank You for the wisdom and restraint You gave. Tonight, we ask that You place exactly the right person in that residence, someone who will contribute to a calm and respectful atmosphere. Guard this home and all who live there, and let it truly be a place of rest. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When the Lord fights for us, our only weapon is stillness. You have looked to Exodus and the promise that the battle is not yours, and how swiftly the Almighty scattered those who troubled you! It is a token of His sovereign hand, for He puts down one and lifts up another, not by might nor by power, but by His own secret will. Yet I would gently stir you to examine what ground your peace stands upon. If the quiet of your street brings a quiet conscience, bless God for it, but take heed lest you mistake a lull in outward storms for the deep calm of a soul reconciled to heaven. The world cries “Peace, peace,” when there is no abiding peace; only the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, a peace the world cannot give and cannot take away. That peace is not earned by our patience, nor made secure by the absence of vexatious neighbours; it is Christ Himself, and He is our peace.

You ask for a peaceful soul to fill the empty dwelling. That is a lawful petition, and our heavenly Father gives good gifts. But remember, as you behold new faces, that the Lord may set you there as a vessel of that very peace. Let the peace of God rule in your heart, and you will be a peacemaker, loving your neighbour even though he be yet a stranger. The same grace that swept the thorns from your path can plant a fruitful vine in your presence. Keep your mind stayed on Jehovah, not merely on the mercy He has shown, and He will keep you in perfect peace though all around be change. Divine surprises often wait upon those who wait upon Him, and the dry tree may suddenly flourish. So pray, but pray with your eyes fixed on the Giver, not the gift, and your soul shall be kept in that perfect peace which is the antepast of heaven.

You have done well to keep silence rather than strive, and to wait on God. God is not a God of war and fighting; make war and fighting to cease, both against Him and against your neighbor. Yet do not let your prayer be narrow. You ask for a peaceful sweet person to live near you; ask also to be made peaceful and sweet yourself. The things we wish to obtain from God we ought first to impart to our neighbor. If you desire peace, be at peace with all men, not only with the neighbor who pleases you. For with the haters of peace I was peaceful; this virtue makes us near God, and nothing delights Him so much as to remember no evil.

Do not let your gratitude be only that troublesome people were removed. We are members one of another; the injury of your neighbor is not confined to him. Pray for them too, that God would give them peace, repentance, and blessing, not merely distance. Otherwise you may be seeking your own comfort only, but love does not seek its own. If you love the Lord, feed His sheep, even the sheep that injured you. Then you may confidently ask for a good neighbor, because you are doing works worthy of mercy. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Amen.
