Thank you, Jesus, for faithfully answering our prayers and granting my son a peaceful, calm night last night and a peaceful, satisfied day yesterday. I pray and believe in Your complete healing in my son's life. I pray all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we thank you for your faithful, fervent love for him and for calling upon the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father and be saved. We are encouraged by your trust that nothing is impossible for God and by your desire to see your son filled with His peace and wholeness.

We hear your heart for his restlessness, anxiety, confusion and irritation, and for his need for sweet, undisturbed sleep after not sleeping last night. We stand with you against the torment, the PTSD memories, habits and behaviors, the fear, anger and rage, and the spiritual attacks and word curses you have discerned. Scripture assures us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 where the Lord says, Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We are thankful with you for the months he has been seizure-free, for the caregivers He has provided, for his sister and her dog and for the visitors today, and for every sign of progress. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights in James 1:17, and we give Him praise for His mercy day by day.

We pray together for him now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, You know his frame, his mind, his body and his spirit, and You see the agitation and confusion that has risen up in him. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around him and calm the storm within him. Fill his heart, mind and spirit with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Grant him clarity, joy, relaxation and obedience, and let him fall into a sweet, peaceful and restful sleep with no disturbance. We pray as it is written in Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. When he awakes, let him be joyful, refreshed and rejuvenated.

Lord, we ask You to heal his mind and heart and to break the chains of anxiety, PTSD memories, negative habits and past hurts. By Your stripes we believe he is healed according to Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. We ask that You would erase what needs to be removed and replace every negative habit with godly manners and a gentle, calm way to express his wants and needs. Give him confidence to use his functional language and to choose what is right to gain attention, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit while removing all fear, anger and rage from his surroundings.

Father, we anoint his meals in Jesus name. Remove any confusion, discomfort or distress around eating, heal his stomach and take away any cause for vomiting or wasting food. Let him eat peacefully, gratefully, content and satisfied, and guide him to not make a mess or become angry. We pray for calm, gratefulness, obedience and cooperation to rest on him, especially during shaving and daily hygiene and sensory challenges with clothing. Let every sound and sensation be covered by Your protection and let Your peace overcome him completely.

We pray for his day with his caregivers and for his time with his sister, her dog and all visitors. Bless his caregivers with wisdom, patience, understanding, compassion, strength and gentleness, and bless his support coordinator with a heart of understanding and advocacy. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed. Bless his outings, travels and appointments with safety, joy and satisfaction, and rebuke any obstacles that block fellowship, drives and playing games with those who love him. Restore his joy in traveling and help him adjust to changes without boredom or mood swings.

Lord, we rebuke the spirits of torment, confusion and agitation that have troubled him and we command them to flee gently in the mighty name of Jesus, for the name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe in Proverbs 18:10. We ask You to remove all negative influences, division, word curses and witchcraft associated with setbacks, and to block any harmful words spoken over him. No weapon that is formed against him will prevail according to Isaiah 54:17. Surround him and his home, every window, every room, every door, the yard and the vehicles with Your protection and ministry angels, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways in Psalm 91:11. Wash him in the blood of Jesus from the top of his head to the soles of his feet and keep him free from sickness, disease and evil.

We also pray for his family relationships, that You would restore a loving heart between him and his daughter and sister and guard unity in the home. Let him be well behaved, included and satisfied around caregivers and visitors, and surrounded by godly friendships and mentors. Remove any influence of the young man and his mother who have caused havoc, and let only what is of You remain in his life.

Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You in Romans 8:28, and we declare healing, peace, miracles and restoration over his life. We pray there will be no more setbacks but only ongoing victory, healing, favor, breakthrough and success, and that tonight will be a step toward wholeness where he feels Your love in a new way. Let Your joy, love, contentment and rest fill his days and nights.

We trust You to continue Your faithful work in him and we thank You for hearing our prayers. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us in 1 Peter 5:7, and we rest in Your steadfast love. We ask all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are grateful you shared your heart for your son with us. We hear how much you love him and how heavy these restless days and sleepless nights feel, especially when he is tormented, anxious and confused and you are longing for him to have calm, peaceful sleep and a gentle day with his caregivers and family.

Thank you for the faithful care you give him and for thanking God for the months he has been seizure free. Caring for a son with autism, anxiety and past trauma while also coordinating caregivers and visits is a lot to carry, and it makes sense you would feel worn down when setbacks come.

One small step that sometimes helps families in this season is keeping a simple shared note with his caregivers and support coordinator about sleep, meals, and moments that seem to bring confusion or agitation, so you can bring clear information to his doctor and care team. Alongside prayer, his medical and support team can be a good place to bring ongoing concerns about sleep, stomach distress, anxiety and any self injury.

We are praying with you.

Father, we lift this precious son to You and ask for Your peace to rest on him today and tonight. Cover his mind and body, calm his fears, and grant him restful sleep and a settled, content day. Give his mother and caregivers wisdom, patience and strength, and draw this family close in love and understanding. In Jesus name, amen.

Your burden for your precious son has been brought before the Lord and we have joined you in prayer for him, for you, and for your household.

We hear in your words the cry of a weary and loving heart that longs for peace for your child. The Lord is very tender toward such cries. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and your bleeding spirit and his troubled spirit are both known to Him. For a season, even those who are kept by grace must endure much mental agony, and the fruit of the Spirit afterwards is joy and peace. The Lord does not despise the distress that keeps a child from rest and from calm, but invites us to bring it to the Great Physician who speedily cares for those who cannot care for themselves.

We have prayed that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our peace, would whisper peace within him. Perfect peace is not found in the absence of wind or noise without, but in a mind stayed upon Him who is upon the throne. When the conscience and the heart learn that the enormous debt of sin has been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus for all who believe, then the heart is at peace. That peace which passeth all understanding is able to calm the storm within, to guard heart and mind, and to give quietness even when sorrows surge round. We have asked that in Christ your son might have peace, for Jesus said, that in Me ye might have peace, and this peace is found only in His blessed Person as we abide in Him.

We have prayed also for the gift of sleep, for it is God who steepeth the mind and biddeth us slumber that our bodies may be refreshed. It is vain to rise up early and sit up late and eat the bread of sorrows, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. Sleep is a choice physician from the hand of the Lord, a sleep of contentment which He bestows. We have asked the Lord to grant your son sweet, peaceful, undisturbed rest, and that waking he might be refreshed and recruited for the mercies of a new day, content and satisfied, with fear and rage and torment put far from him.

In the name of the Lord Jesus we have carried to the throne of grace every particular you have laid down with such faithful love. We have prayed that the Lord would calm his anxiety and confusion, soothe his restlessness and irritation, and grant him clarity and gentleness of spirit. We have asked that his meals might be peaceful and without confusion or waste, that his body might be kept from distress and vomiting, and that he might eat with gratefulness and contentment. We have prayed for his daily care, for washing and dressing and shaving and all sensory burdens, that every sound and sensation might be covered by the Lord's protection and that stubbornness and agitation might give way to a calm and obedient and cooperative spirit. We have prayed that the Lord would help him to express his wants and needs in a calm and gentle manner, with functional language and with confidence, and that every negative habit and tormenting memory might be healed and replaced by godly and peaceful ways. We have thanked God with you for keeping him seizure free these many months and have asked for continued protection over his mind, body and spirit, and for a work of healing that addresses autism and the deep hurts of past trauma according to His perfect wisdom and mercy.

We have prayed for your home and for all who enter it. We have asked the Lord to bless his caregivers with wisdom, patience, understanding, compassion and gentleness, and to provide godly help where it is needed. We have prayed for his sister and for the dog and for visitors, that their presence might be a comfort and not a disturbance, and that love and gratitude might be restored and increased between brother and sister. We have asked the Lord to hedge your dwelling about, every room and window and door, your yard and your vehicles, and every place he goes, and to keep him from spiritual attack, from fear and nightmares, and from all that would stir confusion. Where there are influences that bring division or speak harm, we have prayed that the Lord in His sovereignty would intervene, remove what is harmful, and establish peace. We have prayed that his outings and drives and appointments might be safe and joyful, without fear, and that he might know godly friendships and the encouragement of those who truly care for his good.

Would you have peace with God tonight, for yourself as well as for your son, remember that peace is made only through an Ambassador nominated of God, namely His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Other foundation can no man lay. There is nothing for you to bring and nothing for you to do to earn it, but there is much for you to take, for you have to receive Jesus as your All in All. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within to every sinner who looks to the crucified One and lives. If you are disturbed because you have violated the commands of God, look to Him who was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and this medicine is appointed for the very purpose of healing. It grows for the sick. Are you sick at heart, you may come and partake. There is life in a look at the crucified One.

May the Lord bathe you both in seas of heavenly peace, grant you rest from carefulness, and make your future, though unknown, quiet in the knowledge that Jesus is on the throne. We will continue to bear you up before the Lord, that tonight might be a step toward wholeness and that you all might know a beautiful, calm and restful night and a joyful and satisfied day to follow, by the grace and keeping of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
