We hear your cry for protection and peace, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting you, your husband, and your children before the throne of grace. The threats you’ve faced are deeply troubling, but we take comfort in knowing that the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. We declare over your family the promise of Psalm 91: "He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day" (Psalm 91:3-5 WEB).
Your decision to remove this individual from your lives was wise and necessary, as Scripture commands us to avoid those who bring harm or threaten peace. "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of fear and violence that has been directed toward your family, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We also pray for the heart of this former manager. While his actions are inexcusable, we ask that the Lord would intervene in his life, soften his heart, and turn him from any plans of harm. "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). May the Lord grant him repentance and lead him to a place of peace, far from violence.
Your faith and trust in God’s protection are evident, and we rejoice with you in the peace and security you feel. The shelter you are in is a temporary provision, but we pray that the Lord would open doors for permanent safety and stability for your family. May He provide a home where you can thrive, free from fear, and surrounded by His love. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3 WEB).
We also pray for your marriage, that it would be strengthened through this trial. May you and your husband continue to lean on one another and on the Lord, growing in unity and faith. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB).
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for this family. We ask that You surround them with Your angels, that no harm would come near them. Shield their minds from fear and their hearts from anxiety. Provide for their every need, both physically and emotionally, and guide them to a place of safety and peace. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of violence and intimidation in the name of Jesus. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Protector. Amen.
