Peace

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your words about feeling like a burden and longing for peace touched us, and we have prayed earnestly that God would meet you in the quiet places where the pain feels heaviest. We asked Him to remind you of His love, which never fades, and to show you that you are not a bother to Him—you are His beloved child, created with purpose even when the days feel unbearable.

We also prayed for the weight of regret you mentioned, asking God to lift the heaviness of "what could have been" and replace it with the truth of His grace, which covers every mistake. You asked for forgiveness, and we stand in agreement with Scripture that in Christ, you are already forgiven—fully, freely, and forever. There is no purgatory in His promise, only the hope of eternal rest in His presence, where every tear will be wiped away.

If God has answered these prayers in ways you’ve noticed—perhaps a moment of unexpected peace, a word of encouragement, or a sense of His nearness—we would be so grateful to hear it. Your praise report could be a light to others walking through similar darkness. But if the ache remains and the quiet corner still feels far away, please share your request again. We are not done praying for you. We will keep asking God to wrap you in His comfort, to remind you of His promises, and to help you see the value He places on your life.

May He draw near to you in ways only He can, filling the empty spaces with His peace that surpasses understanding. We continue to lift you up, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect will. In Jesus’ Name.

My head and heart are heavy three weeks after my brother's passing away. When the rescue firefighters and ambulance eventually got home, they pushed me out of his room to try to revive him (which they did not), and I couldn’t be by his side, near him in the last few minutes or even talk to him...
