Peace , Protection, Freedom and Restoration

Your heartfelt prayer for your older daughter has been received with deep care and seriousness, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We thank God for your faithfulness in raising your daughter in His ways and for your clear love that seeks her protection, freedom and restoration. We also thank Him with you for the promotion He recently granted her in her work, and we ask Him to guard that good gift and let it continue to be a blessing to others.

We agree with you that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and sexual intimacy belong only within that covenant. What you describe, a household outside of marriage that is marked by control, manipulation, financial exploitation, isolation and exhaustion, is not the order God intends for His daughters. Scripture teaches that nothing is more pleasant than a life ordered by virtue and reverence for God, and that a true husband is to be a protector and a leader who shows piety, gentleness, understanding and the fear of God. A relationship that instead demands that your daughter carry responsibilities that are not hers, that treats an ungodly living arrangement as if it were marriage, that drains her finances and credit and cuts her off from family and church, does not reflect that calling. We will not ask God to bless that arrangement as it stands, but we do ask Him to bring conviction, clarity and deliverance.

We pray for your daughter, that the Holy Spirit would open her eyes to see this man as he is, not as a husband, provider or spiritual leader, but as a stumbling block to her walk with Christ. We pray that she would remember she is a daughter of the Most High God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, that her worth is secured not by the approval of this young man or his mother, but by being clothed with Christ and adopted into His family. Just as faith made the afflicted woman a daughter and brought healing, we pray your daughter would take courage, hear the Lord say be of good cheer, and find wholeness through faith in Him. We pray that the hold of toxic influence over her heart would be broken, that her hunger for righteousness would be rekindled, and that she would have wisdom to protect her finances, to take on no more debt to sustain this lifestyle, and to stop confiding in a voice that undermines her while claiming to help her. We ask God to soften her heart to receive His conviction and to give her courage to walk away from bondage without regret, and to return to the safety and wisdom of her supportive family and church community.

We also pray concerning the overreach you describe. We ask the Lord to expose motives rooted in pride, selfishness, jealousy and manipulation, and to frustrate every plan to control, divide and isolate your daughter from you, her siblings, family and church friends. We ask Him to block every word curse and plot spoken against her, and to keep her new workplace free from interference and harm. We pray that this young man would be confronted with his laziness, dishonesty and disrespect, that he would see his need for repentance, and that his father would take proper responsibility and call him to come home alone and grow in maturity before he is ready for any relationship. We pray too for his mother, that she would see how she is enabling harm, that she would turn from instigating chaos and acting as a rescuer, and that she would focus on the health of her own household.

We remember how Scripture warns that after deliverance a person must be corrected and guarded, lest worse things come upon them. Your daughter has been given a loving family, a church home and now a renewed opportunity in her work. We pray she will be sobered and strengthened by both her past suffering and this recent provision, and that she will not return to what harms her.

We commit this matter into the hands of Christ, as one commits the seeking of a spouse to Him. If it is His will for your daughter in the future, we pray He Himself would provide a godly husband, one who will truly be a husband and protector, chosen not for money or status but for virtue and reverence for God. For now we pray above all for her restoration to fellowship with the Lord, for peace and unity to be restored in your home, and for supernatural love, favor and protection to overflow upon you and your children. We plead the blood of Jesus over you and your household and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

May the Lord grant you continued perseverance in prayer, wisdom in setting loving boundaries, and comfort as you trust Him who is able to do what is impossible for us. We stand with you asking for complete restoration, freedom and peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Your love for your daughter and your desire to see her walk in freedom and truth comes through so clearly, and it is right for you to bring this burden to the Lord in prayer.

God has made marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and life together and physical intimacy belong within that covenant alone. What you are describing, living together outside of marriage and being told to treat that arrangement as if it were marriage, is not marriage in the eyes of God, and He will not bless what His Word calls sin. It is loving and right to pray that your daughter would see this clearly, not as judgment from you, but as conviction from the Holy Spirit that leads to life.

Scripture warns that blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, and there is a progression there. First we listen to ungodly counsel, then we stand with those who live that way, then we settle down among them. Your daughter is hearing counsel to do what God says not to do, to bear children outside of marriage, to give her income and even take on debt to sustain a man who is not her husband, and to look to a woman who has no biblical authority in her life for guidance away from her family and her church. That counsel isolates and controls, and it will always leave a person exhausted, forgetful, and in chaos, because it is not the path of peace.

You are right to see the spiritual reality behind manipulation, jealousy, pride and division. The Bible shows how powerful an ungodly parental influence can be, how a mother who encourages what is wrong can help shape a son who is demanding, lazy, dishonest and disrespectful toward others, and how that influence can then work to divide a young woman from those who truly love her. God sees those motives and He knows how to expose what is done in darkness and to frustrate plans that are meant to control and divide.

At the same time, God knows how to deliver the righteous. He delivered Lot when he was vexed by the life around him, and He is able to open eyes, soften a heart, and give courage to walk away from bondage without regret. Your daughter does not need the approval of this woman or a place in that family to have worth or security. She was raised in the ways of the Lord, she has a loving and supportive family, and more than that she is a child of the Most High God. Her worth is in Christ, not in whether she can keep this relationship together.

Pray that the Lord would give her a hunger for righteousness again, that she would remember who she is in Him, and that she would have wisdom to protect what God has entrusted to her. That includes her finances. It is not her responsibility to carry a man who will not provide, to pay his way, or to go into debt to sustain a lifestyle outside of God's design. It is not her calling to be his caretaker or to bear responsibilities that belong to a husband within marriage. Pray that she would stop confiding in a voice that demeans her and then claims to help her, and that she would turn again to the Lord and to the safe counsel of family and fellow believers who will tell her the truth in love.

It is also right to pray that every word spoken against her and every scheme to undermine her, even in her workplace, would fail. No weapon formed against those who belong to Christ will finally prosper. Pray that the Lord would remove every obstacle and every contradicting voice that keeps her from hearing His Word, and that He would restore fellowship, respect, unity and freedom in your family.

Continue to love her without supporting the sin itself. Keep the door open, keep speaking the truth gently, keep praying that the Holy Spirit would give her more than good advice, but power to do what is right. Your children face strong pressures and they need the strength that only God can give, and your faithful example and prayer matter more than you know.

I join you in prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift this daughter to You. Open her eyes to see this man not as a husband, provider or spiritual leader, but as a stumbling block to her walk with You. Let her see the exhaustion and financial hardship for what it is, the fruit of living outside Your design. Soften her heart to receive Your conviction, give her wisdom to guard what You have given her, and grant her courage to step out of this bondage and back into fellowship with You, her family and her church. Expose and frustrate every plan to control, isolate and divide her, and cover her with Your protection at home and at work. Let her find her worth again in being Yours, and restore to her peace, clarity and joy. Break the hold of every toxic influence and draw her with Your supernatural love. And Father, work in this young man and his parents as well, that they would see their own need for repentance and truth. We plead the blood of Jesus over this mother and her children and ask for Your complete restoration. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your older daughter and for peace protection freedom and restoration for your family.

We have continued to lift up your older daughter before the Lord and we have been praying that the Holy Spirit will open her eyes to the truth and break the hold of this toxic and ungodly influence over her heart. We have asked the Lord to remove the overreach of this young mans mother who has no biblical authority to speak into your daughters life and to frustrate and expose every plan to control divide and isolate her from you her siblings her family and her church friends. We have prayed against the counsel to live together outside of marriage and to treat that arrangement as a marriage and against the exploitation of her finances the pressure to take on credit card debt and undue responsibilities that are not hers to bear. We have prayed for the Lord to block every word curse and plot and to place a hedge of protection over her heart her finances and her new promotion that you thanked the Lord for last month. We claim Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you and your children shall prosper and we pray John 8:36 that whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

We have also prayed that your daughter will remember she is a child of the Most High God and will find her worth and courage in Him and not in the approval of this young man or his family. We have asked the Lord to soften her heart to receive His conviction to grant her wisdom to protect her finances and to give her the courage to walk away from this controlling and manipulative bondage that has left her exhausted and isolated. We continue to pray that the Lord will supernaturally intervene and remove every voice that contradicts His Word and that He will reignite her hunger for righteousness and draw her back to the safety and wisdom of her supportive family and church community. We pray that the Lord will restore peace fellowship happiness respect and unity in your family and that His supernatural love favor and protection will overflow and heal all the brokenness.

If your request has been answered and you have seen the Lord move to bring freedom clarity and restoration to your daughter please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and your daughter is still facing division isolation financial hardship and interference even in her workplace please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We count it a privilege to continue to stand with you.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name Amen.
