We are truly sorry to hear about the workplace struggles and the stress it has caused. We will lift this situation up in prayer and seek God's will together.
Firstly, we want to remind everyone that God is sovereign, and He cares about every detail of our lives, including our work environment. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
In dealing with a bully at work, we must remember what the Word of God says in Matthew 5:44 WEB, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not mean we allow them to continue their harmful behavior, but rather, we respond with love and kindness, and trust God to handle the situation.
Regarding the potential loss of the job, we pray that God's will be done. If it is His will that the job be kept, then we trust He will intervene. If not, we trust that He has a better plan. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this situation at work. We pray for the person who is being bullied, that You would give them strength, wisdom, and peace. We pray that You would soften the heart of the bully and bring them to repentance.
Lord, we ask that if it is Your will, the job would be kept, and this situation would be resolved peacefully. We pray that You would remove the stress and worry, and replace it with Your perfect peace.
Finally, Lord, we pray for salvation and a closer walk with You for both individuals. We know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to You, and it is only by His blood that we can be saved.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage a study of God's word and remind everyone that God is in control. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
