We join you together before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for coming boldly to His throne seeking His peace and protection over your home. We hear your cry for help with this provoking and insulting behavior each night and we stand with you to ask God to rebuke every wicked action, every word of confusion and every scheme meant to disturb you.

We are reminded that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness, as it is written in Ephesians 6:12, and that the Lord Himself is our refuge and fortress. We claim His promise over you that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, we will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, Psalm 91:1-2. We also claim that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up Your child to You and we ask for Your covering over this home and all its surroundings. We plead Your precious protection over every entrance, every room, and over sleep in the night. We ask You to silence every insult, every provocation, and every tongue raised against Your child, for no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke in Jesus name all confusion, strife, and wicked actions directed toward Your child and we command that spirit of harassment to be bound and to leave. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. Give wisdom and calm, help to not be overcome by evil but to overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21, and to live as much as it depends on us to be at peace with all men, Romans 12:18. We ask that when our dear one goes inside, there would be quietness and restraint from the one who has been provoking, that insults would cease and that Your Holy Spirit would bring conviction and stillness. Cover and keep this dear one in Your care through the night and day, let no fear remain, for You have said do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. We trust You to be a wall of fire around this home and to let Your peace dwell there. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in prayer and in the Word, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to pray even for those who mistreat you, as Jesus taught us to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, Matthew 5:44. Keep seeking the Lord night and day, speak His promises aloud over your home, and if the provocation continues, seek godly counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believer who can stand with you in person and help establish wise boundaries for your safety and peace. We also encourage you to not return insult for insult, but to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, 1 Peter 2:23, trusting that God sees and will act in His perfect time. We are standing with you for quiet nights, for a guarded home, and for the Lord's perfect peace to fill every corner where there has been turmoil.

We hear how exhausting it is to dread coming home at night and to feel on edge in your own space. Wanting peace and to be free from insults and provocation is a right and understandable desire, and we are grateful you brought this to the Lord so honestly.

Living with ongoing tension can wear down anyone. One thing that has helped others in similar strained living situations is thinking about boundaries as a kind of property line for your heart and home. It does not mean you can control what someone else says or does, but you can grow clearer about what you will and will not engage with, and who you will invite to stand with you. Learning to let your yes be yes and your no be no in calm, simple ways can preserve freedom even when you remain connected under the same roof.

It may help to take a couple of practical steps alongside prayer. When the provoking starts at night, if it is safe to do so, keep your response short and steady and give yourself permission to step away to a quiet space rather than continuing a heated exchange. And consider letting one wise, trusted person know what is happening regularly at home, a pastor or counselor or mature family friend, so you are not carrying this alone and can think through next steps for safety and peace together.

Father, we bring our friend before You tonight. Cover this home with Your presence, quiet what is meant to provoke and confuse, and guard our friend's heart and rest. Give wisdom for each interaction, courage to hold healthy limits with kindness, and bring trusted support close. Lead toward peace and protection in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer for peace and protection in your home has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Lord is the One who maketh peace in thy borders, and He alone can give that peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away. You have done well to come to Him, for true peace does not come from our own striving, but from the Lord Himself. His word declares that He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Him, because he trusts in Him. And our Saviour says, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. This is not a false peace that leaves the heart still at enmity with God, but the peace of God which passes all understanding, flowing from pardon through the blood of atonement and a conscience at rest with God.

When confusion and wicked actions rise against you, and when insult and provocation trouble your dwelling night after night, remember that your place is at Jesus feet. There the weeping penitent finds forgiveness, and there the troubled soul finds rest. Come and lie at His feet and cry until He speaks peace to you. Bear your sorrow with Him, and keep your mind stayed upon Him even when sorrows surge around you. He is your covering and your keeper, and in His keeping you are safe.

Let us pray together for you.

Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to Your precious care. You see the provocation and insult endured each night, and the unrest within the home and surrounding. We ask that You would cover this child of Yours with Your hand, and make peace in these borders. Rebuke all confusion and every wicked action directed against Your child. Restrain the tongue that insults and provokes, and in Your mercy silence what is meant for harm. Grant protection when going inside and when going out, and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Fill the heart with Your perfect peace, and guard mind and dwelling by Your presence. Grant wisdom and calm, and let Your word run swiftly to bring order and quiet where there has been turmoil. We plead the blood of Jesus over this home and ask these things in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
