Beloved Warrior
Lord remove the overreach of this young man’s mother, who has no biblical authority to speak into my older daughter’s life. Her counsel to live together and have children outside of marriage is not only ungodly but selfishly destructive. This woman’s pride, jealousy and manipulation are rooted in darkness, and I pray the Lord exposes her motives and frustrates every plan she has to divide and isolate my family. I declare that my older daughter is not homeless, nor does she need this woman’s approval or guidance. My daughter has a loving, supportive family who has raised her in the ways of the Lord, and I pray the Holy Spirit breaks the hold of this toxic influence over her heart. Father, I ask You to open my older daughter’s eyes to the truth. Let her see this man for who he is, not a husband, not a provider, not a spiritual leader, but a stumbling block in her walk with You. I pray she would no longer defend or commit this relationship and living arrangement, or take on responsibilities that are not hers to bear. Soften her heart to receive Your conviction, and grant her the courage to walk away from this bondage with no regrets. Jesus I ask You to intervene supernaturally, removing every obstacle and every voice that contradicts Your Word. Let her hunger for righteousness be reignited, and let her return to the safety and wisdom of her family and church community. I pray Lord that she will see her worth in You and not allow these people that make her feel worthless. Jesus I ask for a Godly spouse for her. Bless her with Your peace and protect her. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We stand with you in deep concern for your daughter’s spiritual and emotional well-being, lifting this situation before the Lord with urgency and fervency. The influence of this young man’s mother is not only unbiblical but deeply destructive, as her counsel to live together and have children outside of marriage is a direct violation of God’s design for holy matrimony. Scripture is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4). This living arrangement is not a path of blessing but of bondage, and we boldly declare that it must be broken in Jesus’ name.

The pride, jealousy, and manipulation you describe are indeed rooted in darkness, and we rebuke every spirit of division and isolation attempting to fracture your family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we proclaim that your daughter is covered by the blood of Jesus and surrounded by a family that loves her and has raised her in the ways of the Lord. We pray that the Holy Spirit would expose the true motives of this woman and frustrate every plan that does not align with God’s will. "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Your daughter’s eyes must be opened to the truth. This young man is not a husband, provider, or spiritual leader, he is a stumbling block in her walk with Christ. We pray that the Lord would give her discernment to see him as He does and the courage to walk away from this ungodly entanglement. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). The responsibilities she is taking on are not hers to bear, and we declare that she will no longer be deceived by false promises or false love.

Father, we ask that You soften her heart to receive Your conviction. Let her hunger for righteousness be reignited, and let her return to the safety and wisdom of her family and church community. We pray that she would see her worth in You alone, not in the empty validation of those who seek to diminish her. "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:13-14). We also lift up the young man in this situation, praying that his eyes would be opened to his need for Christ and that he would turn from this path of sin.

Lord, we ask for a godly spouse for your daughter, a man who will love her as Christ loves the church, lead her in righteousness, and honor You in their marriage. Until that day, we pray for her protection, peace, and purity. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every voice contrary to Your Word will be silenced.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You intervene supernaturally, breaking every chain of deception and restoring what the enemy has tried to steal. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and let Your truth set your daughter free. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that Your will shall be done in this situation.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the grief and fierce love in your words, the ache of watching someone you raised in the Lord being pulled off course by a voice that contradicts everything you taught her. It’s painful when a grown child chooses a path that not only hurts her own walk with God but also strains the family bond. We stand with you in that ache.

It’s clear your daughter is deeply tangled right now. People caught in these situations often defend their choices fiercely, not because they’re confident, but because admitting the truth feels like too much loss. That doesn’t excuse the choices, but it helps us remember that pressure and shame rarely open a heart. What often does is the steady, stubborn love of a parent who continues to show up, not with a list of wrongs, but with a relationship that says, “You always have a place with us, no matter what.” That kind of presence can be a lifeline when everything else crumbles.

One practical thing that sometimes helps: find one or two seasoned, prayerful people in your church who will commit to praying with you regularly about this. The weight is too heavy to carry alone, and having others intercede can strengthen your own heart while the battle rages on. Also, if your daughter will allow it, keep the door open for simple, non-confrontational time together, a coffee, a walk, where you just listen. You don’t have to agree with her life to love her, and that quiet, consistent connection often wears down defenses faster than words can.

We pray with you: Lord Jesus, You see this mother’s tears and the danger her daughter is in. We ask You to shield her daughter from every lie that pulls her from Your truth. Quiet the manipulative voices around her, and break the spiritual fog that keeps her from seeing clearly. Soften her heart to hear Your conviction, not with shame but with the hope of returning. Give her courage to step away from what is not of You. And for this mother, grant deep peace in the waiting, wisdom in every word she speaks, and the comfort of Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father soften hearts and heal any bad feelings in this family. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The cry of a parent’s heart ascends as incense before the throne, and the Lord who hears the groaning of the prisoner will not turn away from the travail of your soul. You have sighed for your daughter as Israel sighed in Egypt, and your prayer is no empty formality; it is the travail of a spirit that knows its need of constant protection, and you have cast yourself upon Him that keepeth Israel, who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Now, this counsel that has come into your daughter’s ears is darkness and not light. To speak of living together and bearing children outside the covenant of marriage is to trample upon that estate which Christ has set forth as the very picture of His union with His church. No, the husband’s love to his spouse is something special and particular, and it stands quite alone and all by itself. That which is made a public trial is made a mockery of the sacred mystery. The woman who thus speaks has no biblical authority, for all authority is from God and His Word binds every tongue. She sets herself up as a guide when she herself walks in darkness, and it is a truth beyond dispute, that God’s justice is not partial. He will bring every idle word into judgment.

But look now to your daughter. She is in bondage, bondage under sin, bondage to the fashions and customs of the world, bondage under the fear of man. This is carnal bondage, the work of the flesh, of sin and of the devil. She has allowed what she feels to be love for this young man to supplant the plain commandment of her God, and I do not doubt that she is even now far from truly happy. How I have known the Lord to deal with such souls! He takes away the objects of their attachment, He breaks their idols and deprives them of their precious vanities, all to get their hearts wholly to Himself, because He knows it will never be right with them while they have a divided heart. And yet, dear friend, you have this comfort: a good man in a house is good store to the family. A converted daughter, a praying father, why, these are the pillars, the ornaments, the buttresses of the house! Godly people hedge the mansion in with their prayers, and your continual intercession is not in vain. Remember that one of the most intense desires of every godly man is that there may be a succession of godly men. You long to see your daughter walking in the truth, and that longing is but the echo of the Spirit’s own purpose.

Do not think that the Lord has shut His ear. The arrow of doubt that suggests God will not move His arm for deliverance is a poisoned barb from the enemy. Why, the Lord brought forth Israel from Egypt with a mighty hand, but they had cried unto Him by reason of their sore bondage, and they did not receive the blessing without desiring it, yes, and sighing for it! Your sighs have been heard. The foundation of God stands sure, “The Lord knoweth them that are his.” And He will certainly bring them every one to His right hand at last. Even if you are slandered for your stand, remember it is the lot of God’s greatest servants to bear the worst character amongst worldlings. But take this for your encouragement: when deliverance comes, it is always effectual. He brings them forth, and no power of Pharaoh can hold them back. The woman’s pride and manipulation may be a hindrance for a season, but the Lord will frustrate the tokens of the liars and make diviners mad.

Let your daughter know that to continue in this path is to cast to the winds all that belonged to her godly family. I do not believe that he begins life in a way which God is likely to bless, who begins with the notion that he shall upset everything, that all that belonged to his godly family shall be cast to the winds! And what will be the end? There shall the ungodly see eyes which shall look upon them glaring like eyes of fire, which they can never avoid, the eyes of those whom they duped and deceived and misled. Yet, while there is breath, there is hope. The bruised reed He will not break, and the smoking flax He will not quench. Pray on, and watch for the dawn. The Lord will yet give your daughter a godly spouse, for He has made marriage honorable in all, and He delights in the union of His children in Him. In that day you shall sing, “Thou hast smitten all my enemies upon the cheek-bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.” Until then, let the peace of God rule in your heart, and be not angry with the grace that has visited your family, but rest in the sure deliverance of your covenant God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Spirit declares that all friendship must be built on godliness alone; every other bond, whether of kinship or nearness, when it pulls from Christ, becomes a snare. Your older daughter has lent her ear to a voice that whispers doctrines of darkness, urging her to live together and bear children outside the holy estate of marriage. This is no small departure from the faith, but a giving heed to seducing spirits, which tickle the conscience until it is seared as with a hot iron. Such counsel promises freedom but delivers only bondage, for it muddles the clear light of truth. Yet do not despair, for the Lord wills not the death of the sinner but that she turn and live. Christ is the true light who dissolves every mental darkness; pray that this radiance may break through her clouded understanding, so she may see that the man she defends is no husband or spiritual leader but a stumbling block on her path to righteousness.

You who have raised her in the fear of God from her first youth, take courage. That holy fear, instilled in her heart, is a wall not easily broken, and God Himself will guard her better than any earthly protector. The seed of Abraham is not counted through carnal ties but through faith. Remind her, then, that her true family is the household of believers, and her worth is found not in the fleeting approval of those who reject God’s word, but in Christ who called her. Do not be swallowed up by overmuch sorrow, but persist in prayer, that the Holy Spirit would reignite in her a hunger for righteousness. Then, when unbelief is cleared out, faith will return in its place. And what the Lord promises is sure: He will frustrate every plan born of pride and jealousy, and in His time, if she turns, He may yet grant her a godly spouse and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let your lamentation give way to holy resolve, for salvation rests not on outward contrivances but on the inner guard of faith working through love.
