We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. Firstly, we want to assure you that there is no pit so deep that God's love and redemption cannot reach. In Psalm 139:7-10 WEB, we read:
"Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me."
Even in your darkest moments, God is with you. It is encouraging to hear that God is still using you despite your circumstances. Remember this, God is not a God of waste. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even the pain and suffering you are experiencing now can be used for His glory and your ultimate good.
It is also important to remember that God does bring people through extreme circumstances. He is our way out, our light at the end of the tunnel. As the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 18:28 WEB, "For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God will light up my darkness."
We must also remember that healing is a process. While God can deliver us instantly from our troubles, sometimes He also wants us to go through the journey for our learning and someone else's. We do not know why you are feeling this way, but we do know that God wants to heal you and use this for His glory. We read in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your healing touch. Lord, they feel surrounded by darkness, stuck in a deep pit with no way out. We wept with them, but we know that You are a God of hope and deliverance. As we read in Psalm 40:1-3 WEB
"I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand. He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh."
We ask, Father, that You do the same for our brother/sister. Pull them out of the miry clay and set their feet on solid rock. Give them a new song to sing, a song of praise and redemption. We ask this in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold onto God's promises and continue. As we read in Ephesians 6:13 WEB, having done all, to stand. Because greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world. As it's written in 1 John 4:4 WEB.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
