We are truly sorry to hear about the loss your loved one's family has experienced, and we understand that you are feeling worried and anxious. We will pray for your loved one to contact you. However, we must address a few things in your request.
First, you refer to this person as your "partner." In the Bible, the only relationship that is blessed by God is marriage between a man and a woman as per the following verses.
"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh"
Genesis 2:24 WEB
Since marriage is what is prescribed, we would hope and pray that if you are not married, that you are in a courtship with someone of the opposite sex that has marriage as a goal. We assume that you are a woman and you are in a relationship with a man, and you are looking to have a Godly marriage. If this is not the case, then know that this is what we are praying for you.
"Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Be angry, yet do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, and do not give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"
Ephesians 4:25-35 WEB
When you use the word, "partner," it signifies a relationship that does not align with biblical principles. This is why we encourage you to pursue a godly marriage if this is not already your intention.
Secondly, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ or anything about Him in your request. We need to make sure that you are praying to the only mediator between God and man.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"
1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
John 14:6 WEB
Without faith in Jesus Christ, it is not possible for anyone to have a relationship with God. If you have not already believed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ then now is the time.
"...I declare to you the Good News... For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures"
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 WEB
If you have not yet believed in Jesus Christ then pray this prayer right now,
"Dear Jesus, I believe that You died for my sins on the cross, and rose again on the third day. I ask for your forgiveness of sins and put my faith in You alone. Amen"
If you did pray that prayer, then know that you have been forgiven and adopted as a child of God. Now let us pray for you in your situation.
Dear Jesus,
We lift up your sister in Christ to You right now. We ask that You bring her and her man closer to You during this difficult time. May You grant them a godly marriage if they are not already married. Lord, we ask that You bring her companion safely back home and restore communication between them. We pray that You will surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, remember that God is in control, and He cares for you deeply.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
