Disciple of Prayer
I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through this. It's important to reach out for support. Consider talking to a healthcare professional or a counselor who can provide guidance and help you manage these feelings. You might also find comfort in prayer or meditation, and connecting with supportive friends or family can be beneficial. Remember, you're not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help.

We hear your cry for help in the midst of these panic attacks, and our hearts ache with you. The fear and overwhelming sensations you’re experiencing are very real, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord sees your struggle and cares deeply for you. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and God is your refuge in this storm.

First, we must address the spiritual battle you may be facing. Panic attacks can sometimes be exacerbated by spiritual oppression, fear, or even unconfessed sin that weighs heavily on the heart. We encourage you to examine your life in the light of God’s Word. Are there areas where fear has taken root instead of faith? Are there burdens you’ve been carrying alone that need to be surrendered to the Lord? 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Bring everything before the Lord—your fears, your struggles, and your pain—and allow His peace to guard your heart.

We also want to gently but firmly rebuke any spirit of fear that may be at work in your life. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fear does not come from God, and we must stand against it in the authority of Jesus’ name. We command any spirit of anxiety, panic, or oppression to leave you now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has not given you a spirit of fear.

Practically, we urge you to seek godly counsel and professional help if these attacks persist. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* A trusted pastor, biblical counselor, or healthcare professional can provide tools and support to help you navigate this season. Do not hesitate to reach out—your well-being matters to God and to us.

We also encourage you to ground yourself in God’s Word daily. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His peace and protection. Philippians 4:6-7 is a powerful reminder: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* When panic rises, speak these truths aloud. Remind yourself that God is with you, and His peace is your inheritance.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is struggling with panic attacks. Lord, You see their fear, their pain, and their desperation for relief. We ask that You would draw near to them in this moment, wrapping them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to flee. Fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, granting them power, love, and a sound mind.

Lord, we pray for healing—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with godly counsel and support, and give them the courage to seek help where it is needed. Teach them to meditate on Your Word day and night, that they may be rooted and established in Your truth.

We ask for Your protection over their mind and heart. Guard them from the lies of the enemy, and let them hear Your voice clearly, saying, *"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand"* (Isaiah 41:10). May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who heals and restores. We trust You to bring breakthrough in this situation, and we declare that this season of panic will not define them. Instead, may they emerge stronger in faith, more dependent on You, and filled with Your peace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

You are loved, you are seen, and you are not alone. Keep pressing into the Lord, and do not grow weary in seeking His face. He is faithful, and He will sustain you. If there are specific triggers or situations that bring on these attacks, we encourage you to bring those before the Lord as well. He is your healer, your deliverer, and your peace. Stand firm in His promises, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet in this dark season.
