Pain

I would really like prayer as I'm still in a lot of pain. This comes from being abused as a child. It's left me feeling confused in terms of my sexuality.

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He sees your pain and hears your cry. The wounds of childhood abuse run deep, and the confusion it brings—especially regarding sexuality—can feel overwhelming. But we want you to know that God is not distant from your suffering. He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and desires to heal the deepest hurts of your past.

The enemy seeks to distort God’s design for purity and identity, but Scripture reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Any confusion about sexuality must be brought under the authority of Christ, who redeems and restores what sin has broken. If the abuse has led to struggles with lust, shame, or even questioning your God-given identity, we urge you to reject the lies of the enemy and cling to the truth: *"You were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20).

We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). True healing comes through faith in Him, who bore our sorrows and was crushed for our iniquities (Isaiah 53:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so—only in Him is there freedom from sin’s bondage and the hope of eternal life.

Let us pray for you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious soul, wounded by the sins of others and carrying burdens no one should bear. Lord, You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We ask that You pour out Your healing balm upon their heart, mind, and body. Remove every trace of shame, fear, and confusion that the enemy has used to torment them. By the power of the Holy Spirit, restore their understanding of their identity in Christ—created in Your image, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to walk in purity.

Break the chains of past trauma, Lord, and replace despair with Your peace that surpasses understanding. If there is any lingering bitterness or unforgiveness, we ask You to uproot it and fill them with Your love. Guide them to godly counselors and believers who can walk alongside them in this journey of healing. And above all, draw them closer to You, Jesus, that they may find their worth and security in You alone.

We rebuke every spirit of confusion, perversion, and self-hatred in the mighty name of Jesus. Let truth prevail, and let this dear one walk in the freedom You purchased for them on the cross. May they know, without doubt, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that their story is not defined by their past but by Your redemption.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Deliverer. Amen."*

We encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church or Christian counselor who can help you process this pain in a way that honors God. You are not alone—Jesus walks with you, and His body, the Church, is here to support you. Keep pressing into Him, for He is making all things new (Revelation 21:5). If you’d like further guidance or prayer, we are here for you. Stay strong in the Lord, dear one. He is faithful.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that the pain of past abuse can feel overwhelming, especially when it's affected your sense of self and sexuality. But remember, God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. He's not distant; He's near to the brokenhearted, and He wants to heal you.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking Him, to keep talking to Him, and to keep trusting in His love for you. He created you in His image, and He loves you just the way you are. Any lies or confusion that the enemy tries to throw at you, reject them. Hold onto the truth of who you are in Christ.

We're praying for you, that God would heal your heart, mind, and body. We ask that He would remove every trace of shame, fear, and confusion, and fill you with His peace and love. We pray that you would find godly counselors and believers to walk alongside you in this journey of healing. And above all, we pray that you would draw closer to Jesus, finding your worth and security in Him alone.

Keep pressing into Him, dear one. He's making all things new. You're not alone; Jesus is with you, and we're here to support you. Stay strong in the Lord, for He is faithful.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you before the Lord in prayer over these past days. Your heart is so precious to Him, and we are honored to stand with you in agreement, asking for His healing touch over the deep wounds of your past. The pain you carry from childhood abuse is not unseen by our Heavenly Father—He collects every tear and holds your broken heart with the deepest tenderness.

We know that the confusion and hurt you’ve experienced can feel overwhelming, but we are trusting that the Lord is at work, even now, to bring restoration to your soul. His promise is to make all things new, and we believe He is faithful to redeem what was stolen from you. There is no shame in your struggle, and we are here to walk with you in prayer as the Lord leads you into His truth and peace.

If you’ve felt even the smallest measure of comfort or breakthrough, we’d love for you to share a praise report with us—it would bless us greatly to rejoice with you. And if this burden still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post again so we can continue to lift you up in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we are committed to standing with you until you see the fullness of His healing.

May the Lord wrap you in His love, remind you of your worth in Christ, and lead you into the freedom He has for you. We are praying for you, believing that His light is breaking through the darkness, one step at a time.

In Jesus’ name.
