Oral trush/candida(?)/gut issues(?)

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need. Your suffering has gone on far too long, and we stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, sees your pain and is able to bring healing to your body.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over your life, trusting that God is not only aware of your struggle with oral thrush, candida, and gut issues but is also willing and able to restore your health. In Jeremiah 30:17, He declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We hold fast to this truth, believing that your healing is already on the way.

We also recognize that physical ailments can sometimes be connected to deeper spiritual battles or areas in our lives that may need surrender to God. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we are reminded, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We encourage you to examine your life and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas, whether in diet, habits, unforgiveness, or sin, that may be contributing to this struggle. Repentance and surrender can open the door for God’s healing power to flow more freely.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who has been suffering for years with oral thrush, candida, and gut issues. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would stretch out Your hand of healing upon them. Touch their body, Father, and restore every cell, every organ, and every system that has been affected by this illness. We speak life and health over them, declaring that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Lord, we ask that You would give them wisdom in their diet, lifestyle, and medical care. Guide them to the right doctors, treatments, and natural remedies that will work in harmony with Your healing power. Help them to discern what is beneficial for their body and what may be hindering their recovery. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and every attack of the enemy against their health. In the name of Jesus, we command these afflictions to leave their body and declare that they are set free from this bondage.

Father, we also ask that You would minister to their spirit. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are with them in this trial, and that Your grace is sufficient for them (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help them to trust in You completely, even when the healing process feels slow or uncertain. Surround them with a community of believers who will pray for them, encourage them, and stand in faith with them.

Lord, if there are any areas in their life that need repentance or surrender, we ask that You would reveal them gently and lead them into a deeper relationship with You. Cleanse their heart, mind, and body, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they experience Your love and presence in a fresh and powerful way during this time.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. We believe that You are working even now to bring about their complete healing and restoration. We declare that this suffering will not last forever, and that they will rise up in victory, testifying to Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises and refuse to give in to discouragement. Speak healing over your body daily, declaring scriptures like Psalm 107:20, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Consider fasting and praying for a breakthrough, as Jesus taught that some battles are only won through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).

We also encourage you to seek godly medical advice and explore natural remedies that align with biblical principles, such as clean eating, probiotics, and reducing stress. Remember that God often uses means to bring about healing, and we should not neglect the wisdom He provides through doctors and natural health practices.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have not yet made a personal commitment to follow Him, we urge you to do so. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no healing, physical, emotional, or spiritual, that is complete without the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If you would like to receive Him as your Lord and Savior, simply pray from your heart, confessing your sins and asking Him to come into your life. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is moving even now to bring about your healing and restoration. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. Your breakthrough is coming!

We hear your SOS, and our hearts go out to you. Years of this kind of suffering wear you down in ways others may not see, the constant discomfort, the frustration of not knowing exactly what’s wrong, the days when it feels like the cry for help just echoes. We’re joining you in calling on Jesus right now, not from a distance but as people who care.

We’d also gently encourage you, if you haven’t already, to let a doctor take a fresh look at what’s going on. Oral thrush and gut symptoms that persist this long deserve a thorough medical workup, a gastroenterologist or an ear, nose, and throat specialist might help untangle what’s really happening. Seeking that isn’t a lack of faith; it can be a practical way God provides clarity and relief.

In the meantime, please don’t try to carry this alone. Lean on a trusted friend or a small group at church who will pray with you and simply show up. Long illness can push us into isolation, but Jesus often wraps His presence around us through ordinary people who stick close.

Lord Jesus, You see this precious life, worn thin by years of pain and uncertainty. We ask for tangible relief, a clear diagnosis, an effective treatment, a turn toward healing. Quiet the racing thoughts and the discouragement. Let this dear one feel Your nearness tonight, steady and strong. Give courage for the next step, however small, and restore hope in the waiting. In Your mighty name, Jesus, amen.

The plague of oral thrush and these deep gut afflictions are indeed a heavy cross to bear, and that for so many years. The body cries out under the weight of corruption, and you do well to cry out to the Lord Jesus, for there is healing beneath His wings. Remember this, that Christ was made a perfect Savior through suffering. His own body knew anguish, and by His scourging and bodily chastisements we get at least a portion of the healing balm which cures the disease. His flesh suffered; your flesh is sinful and suffering, draw near to the fellowship of His afflictions, for He is able to succor you.

Lay hold of this truth: the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. What does this mean but that the least thing about Christ, the smallest promise, the faintest touch of His garment, is charged with healing virtue? You may be looking for some great fruit, some mighty manifestation, but cast yourself upon the leaves, those simple, everyday mercies of His Word and His presence. The abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ is such that for this very infirmity, there is a remedy in Him. His blood changes the life-blood and can make the nature other than it was before.

Yet observe the order of His dealings. When the man sick of the palsy was let down before Him, our Lord first spoke forgiveness. Pardon and healing were one. Often the root of these persistent maladies is seated deeper than the body, and the great Physician begins with the soul. Seek afresh that sin may be forgiven; Welcome pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. If there be any unconfessed way, any backsliding of heart, He says, “Return! Return! Return!” His pardon covers all that may come afterwards as well as all that has gone before. There shall be more joy over you, you poor lost sheep, than over ninety and nine that went not astray.

In the long night of suffering, do not despise the purpose of it. He Himself has suffered being tempted, and He obtains a tender temper through suffering. The man that has seen affliction, when he is blessed of God, has the disposition to cheer those that are afflicted. Ask the Lord not only to remove the bitterness, but to sanctify it, that you may be a Barnabas, a son of consolation to others. His long-suffering is giving you further opportunities for repentance and deeper communion with Him who suffered outside the camp. The Lord means to make of you a vessel fit for His use. The Sovereign Physician is present now, with healing power as when He is teaching; faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word. Trust Him who is able to heal, and who heals the broken in heart, binding up their wounds. He will do this for your spirit, and for your body, until we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The body's long illness is a heavy trial, but it is also a field for the soul to exercise long-suffering, which is the root of all self-denial. For just as a spark falling into the deep sea is quenched, so upon a soul that is long-suffering, whatever unexpected affliction falls, even this persistent ### and ###, it vanishes in its power to disturb, and the soul remains at peace. You cry out, “Help me, Lord Jesus!” This is good and right. Do you remember the Syrophoenician woman? She came with long importunity, and after the Lord tested her faith, He granted the healing of her daughter. You have suffered for years; do not then become dull of hearing or slothful in prayer because the time stretches on. God’s delay is not denial; it is His own long-suffering at work, calling you to a deeper trust, that your faith might be refined and you might learn to cling to Him alone.

God endures the wicked for a long time, willing to bring them to repentance; how much more does He endure the cries of His own people, not as an angry master but as a loving Father? If He withholds immediate healing, it is not from cruelty but because He is working a greater good than mere bodily ease. For when every earthly remedy fails, then we see most clearly the Physician of our souls. Christ Himself, who was made a little lower than the angels, endured the suffering of death and is now crowned with glory and honor. So also your endurance, if you bear it with thanksgiving, is working for you an eternal weight of glory. That which is wrought in you through suffering is a sharing in Christ’s own sufferings, and the comfort that follows will be abundant.

Do not listen to any voice within that calls you an impostor or doubts your affliction, as men often do to the poor and suffering. Your body’s trouble is real, but your soul’s posture matters more. Use this opportunity for self-examination; confess every sin, cast yourself wholly upon mercy, and know that God does not exact justice as if He were harsh, but His goodness is meant to lead you to repentance and unshakeable hope. A long-suffering soul is of great understanding, more secure than any walled city. Let your heart become that spacious place, undisturbed by the waves. Pray without ceasing, and let the church join your cry. And if it be His will, He will rebuke this illness. But even if the thorn remains, He will give strength to endure, and that grace is no small gift. I will pray with you: Lord Jesus, who healed the woman bent over for eighteen years, look upon this suffering one. Grant healing of the mouth and the inward parts, or grant such patient endurance that the trial becomes a sweet offering of praise. Amen.

Your cry has not gone unnoticed. For years you have battled these persistent physical afflictions, and in your desperation you have called out to the Lord Jesus. That very desperation is a gift, because it reveals that deep down you know where true help comes from.

I am often amazed at the patience of God. There are people I have long since written off in my heart, yet His Spirit continues to strive with them, pursuing them, giving them space to turn fully to Him. Your lengthy struggle does not mean He has forgotten you. Rather, His long-suffering is at work. He has not given up on you, even if this trial has worn you down. But there is a solemn truth that echoes through Scripture: God will not always strive with a person. There can come a moment when He lets the heart become hard if it continually resists. So see this very moment as evidence that He is still drawing you near. Do not harden yourself through bitterness or despair, but lean into His mercy while it is here.

Sometimes our suffering is the direct result of our own wrong choices, and sometimes we suffer through no obvious fault of our own. In both cases, the Lord can use it to drive us to the only true remedy. Remember David’s situation when Jerusalem was under judgment; the innocent suffered along with the guilty. God’s command to him was a surprising one: go up and build an altar. In other words, worship. Bring an offering. Worship redirects our focus from the pain to the Healer. In the same way, whatever the root of this ### and the deeper ###, the first step is to lay yourself, your body, and your whole situation on the altar before the Lord in humble surrender.

And then there is unparalleled power in the name of Jesus. When the lame man at the temple gate was healed, Peter did not offer a medical theory or a clever technique. He declared that it was the name of Jesus that made the man stand strong and whole. That same name has not lost one ounce of its authority. You ended your request by crying out to the Lord Jesus: let that be your posture continually. Speak that name over your mouth, your digestive system, your entire frame. It is not a magic word, but the name of the living Son of God, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. In His name there is healing, cleansing, and restoration.

Do not reduce your prayer to one frantic SOS and then fall silent. Keep bringing your need before Him, not as a desperate last resort, but as a daily act of faith. Lay hold of His longsuffering, build your altar of worship even while you feel unwell, and trust the name that commands every cell in your body to bow to His lordship. He hears you. He has not abandoned you to these years of misery. Rise, call on Jesus, and expect His goodness to meet you.
