Faithful Servant
Please pray and ask God that if it is His will He will allow me to feel better today and not be getting sick. Please ask Him to calm my anxiety and also to help me know if a woman who calls herself an apostle is false or a true servant of God. Thank you and God bless you. I ask in the name of Jesus. ###

We join you together in prayer in the name of Jesus and we thank you for asking in His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard, as it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We lift up your physical need before the Lord and we ask according to His will that He would touch your body today and restore your strength and health. We know the Lord is compassionate toward our infirmities and that He cares for our bodies as well as our souls. Scripture reminds us to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and we cling to His promise that when we are anxious He draws near to bring peace. We also encourage you to rest, to care for your body, and to seek medical help if your symptoms continue or worsen, for God often works through wisdom and care as well as through direct healing.

We also bring your anxiety to the Lord with you. He does not want you to be burdened with fear but to cast your cares upon Him. We pray that He will calm your heart and fill you with His peace that passes understanding. The Word tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 and Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and also Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We ask the Lord to quiet your thoughts today and to remind you that He is present and in control.

Concerning the woman who calls herself an apostle, we pray with you for discernment and wisdom, for the Lord wants us to test all things carefully. The Scripture warns us, Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world 1 John 4:1 and For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ's apostles 2 Corinthians 11:13. The Lord Jesus also taught us, By their fruits you will know them Matthew 7:16 and we are told to Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

In the New Testament, apostles were eyewitnesses of the risen Lord and were used to lay the foundation of the church with Christ Himself as the cornerstone, and we are told that the church was built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets Ephesians 2:20. The Lord commended those who tried those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false Revelation 2:2. A true servant of God will not draw attention to herself but will point always to Jesus Christ crucified and risen, will teach sound doctrine that agrees with Scripture, will bear the fruit of humility, holiness, and love, and will not seek personal glory or power or financial gain. A false apostle will often add to Scripture, claim new revelation that contradicts the Bible, demand unquestioned authority, or live in a way that does not reflect Christ. We encourage you to compare all she teaches and how she lives to the Word of God itself, for if her teaching does not align with Scripture it is not from God. Ask the Lord for wisdom as He promises, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord if it is Your will, lay Your healing hand upon this body today, ease the sickness, restore strength, and grant relief and renewed health. Calm the anxiety and fear and let Your perfect peace guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Pour out Your comfort and remind this one that You care deeply and that You are near. Grant clear discernment concerning this woman who calls herself an apostle, open eyes to see truth from error, and give wisdom to test all things by Your Word. Lead away from deception and draw closer to faithful teaching and to Christ alone. Help us to walk in truth, to abide in Your Word, and to trust You in all things. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you today. We hear how much you want to feel better and have peace, and also how much you want to walk wisely as you think about this teacher who calls herself an apostle.

We are praying with you that the Lord would bring relief in His will today, and calm the anxiety that comes with not feeling well. If you continue to feel unwell or it gets worse, please consider checking in with your doctor or clinic as well while we keep praying for you.

For the anxiety weighing on you, it can help to gently turn your thoughts toward how deeply God loves you and is present with you, even when your body feels on edge. Fear and stress affect both mind and body, and resting in His steady love often quiets that alarm over time.

As you seek discernment about this woman, a helpful way to weigh things is to look at fruit over time. Is there humility, love for others, moral faithfulness, and a life that points people to Jesus rather than to herself? Does what she teaches and how she lives line up with the whole of Scripture, and is she open to being tested and accountable to other mature believers? Talking it through with a trusted pastor or elders you know well can bring added clarity.

Father, we bring our brother to You in Jesus' name. Please touch his body according to Your will and grant relief today if it pleases You, and give him Your peace that steadies an anxious heart. Grant him clear wisdom and humble counselors around him to discern what is true and good. Lead him close to You. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we have prayed with you in the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

We have asked our gracious Father that if it be His will He would lift this sickness from you and grant you to feel better even this day, and that He would calm your anxious thoughts with His peace. You do well to cast your care upon Him, for as we have often observed, anxiety has never comforted anybody, nor has it brought any grist to the mill or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it? Indeed the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Our Lord would have you seek first His kingdom, and leave your body and your spirit in His hands who watches over His children. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. So we have asked that He would touch both soul and body, forgiving, calming, and restoring according to His perfect wisdom and love. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and you may lawfully use the means He provides, while looking above all means to the heavenly Physician Himself.

Concerning the woman who calls herself an apostle, you have asked for discernment and this is a wise and needful prayer, for Scripture solemnly warns us of false professors. Many would get relief more quickly in coming to Christ if it were not for the ill lives and false words of those who claim what they do not possess. The apostles of our Lord were chosen personally by Christ, witnesses of His resurrection, laying the foundation of the Church with Christ Himself as the chief cornerstone. That foundation being laid, we are now to test every spirit and every doctrine by the Word of God. A true servant of God will not exalt herself, but will exalt Christ, will speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, with her heart going with her tongue, and her life agreeing with her lips. She will not lead you away from the Gospel of free grace through faith in Christ alone, nor add to the finished work of Calvary, nor draw attention to herself. As you would try whether coin is true, so try her teaching. Does she preach Christ crucified, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ? Does she submit humbly to Scripture as final authority? Does her life show the humility, holiness and love which become the Gospel? Our counsel is that you bring all you hear to the touchstone of Holy Scripture, ask the Lord for wisdom who gives liberally, and confer with faithful pastors who know you and can help you weigh these claims.

We have prayed thus, that the Lord would grant you bodily relief if it be His will, that He would quiet your anxiety by showing you His fatherly care, and that He would give you a clear mind and a steady heart to discern between the true and the false, that you may not be led astray but may abide in the truth as it is in Jesus. May He keep you, heal you, forgive you and establish you in His peace.
