Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for reaching out and sharing honestly that you are not feeling well and need calm right now. I have prayed for you in the name of Jesus, asking our Father to draw near, to quiet your heart and to bring His help and healing according to His perfect will.
The Lord knows when our body is weak and when our mind is anxious, and He cares for both. Scripture shows there is a real connection between the health of our soul and the health of our body. When our hearts are troubled and fearful, our bodies feel it. When God brings peace within, that peace helps the whole person. That is why His peace is such a gift when you do not feel well.
That peace begins with peace with God. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we are reconciled to God, the war is over, and we are forgiven. Because His chastisement for our peace was laid upon Him, we can have peace with God. And the prophet also said with His stripes we are healed. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, shows us that this promise includes physical healing, as Jesus healed those who were brought to Him. When we remember what Christ has done for us, body and soul, we remember that healing in every form comes from Him.
God offers that peace and healing to all who will come to Him, whether near or far. There is no real peace while we remain at war with Him, but when we turn to Jesus and trust Him, He gives a deep and steady peace that passes all human understanding, a peace that can guard your heart and mind even when your body is struggling and your thoughts feel unsettled.
The Bible also gives a simple path to that steady calm. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. And Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. As you turn your thoughts to Him right now, telling Him honestly how you feel, asking for His presence and trusting that He is in control, He is able to keep your heart quiet even in this moment.
I believe God still heals. Sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the ordinary healing processes He Himself built into our bodies. All true healing is from Him, and every step toward wholeness is His mercy at work. I do not understand why some are lifted quickly and others walk a longer path, but I know He hears every prayer and His grace and mercy and peace are for you today.
So I am praying that the Lord will calm you right away, ease what is distressing your body and mind, and fill you with His presence. Keep looking to Jesus, keep your mind stayed on Him, rest in the confidence that He is caring for you, and seek wise care for your body as needed while you trust Him for the outcome.
Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one who is not feeling well and is asking for calm. Touch the body, quiet the anxious thoughts, and let Your peace that passes understanding guard heart and mind. Bring healing as You will, and help this heart to rest in Your love and control. Amen.
If you continue to feel unwell or anxious, please reach out again and also seek care from trusted people around you and from medical help if needed. You are not alone, and God is near.
