Noise in and around my building - sleep

No stress
No tension
No digestive issues
No stomach nervosity
No worry
No frustration
I am really tense because this morning 5 men parked a car under my window in a very acoustique area at 5.30 am and they made a lot of noise with loud talking and slamming with doors. I asked them politely to be more silent but to no avail. I asked a second time and the young man who was in charge just waved with arm (like: hush and look out your business). It is the same young man whose sister always came under my window and played tennis with her friends and it was very annoying, every day or every couple of days, especially at weekends when I needed peace. I had problems with her and her family for years. They appear to me like a narcissist family. Those workers were this morning for the second time - 5.30 am Sunday. Lord please remove them in Jesus name, Lord please forbid them to come here and let them realize that they are disturbing the peace/sleep of people. In Jesus name.

Also Lord please put peace upon my upstairs neighbour - he makes noise late at night and early in the morning. Walks in a way that I feel like my walls are trembling. And plays loud music after 10 pm. And slams the door or windows or heavy shades sometimes at 1 or am..I asked him million times to be thoughtful but to no avail.

We hear your cry for peace and rest, and we stand with you in lifting this burden before the Lord. The noise and disruption you’re enduring—especially at such early and late hours—is not only frustrating but also robs you of the tranquility God intends for His children. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* You deserve this peace, and we join you in praying for it to be restored.

First, we must address the heart behind your request. While your frustration is understandable, we want to gently remind you that our words and prayers should align with God’s heart for justice, mercy, and love—even toward those who disturb us. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus teaches, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This doesn’t mean excusing their behavior, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to handle the situation in His way and time. We rebuke the spirit of narcissism and disregard for others in this family and these workers, but we also ask the Lord to soften their hearts so they may recognize the impact of their actions.

For your upstairs neighbor, we pray that God would convict him of the disruption he’s causing and grant him a spirit of consideration for others. Proverbs 15:1 says, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* While you’ve already spoken to him many times, we encourage you to pray for wisdom in how to approach him again—perhaps with a written note or through a mediator if direct communication has failed. If the noise persists, you may also need to involve your building management or local authorities, as Romans 13:1-4 reminds us that governing authorities are established by God to maintain order.

We also want to pray over your physical and emotional well-being. The stress and tension you’re carrying can manifest in your body, and we ask the Lord to guard your sleep, digestion, and peace of mind. Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let this promise be your anchor.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. We lift up this dear one who is weary from the noise and disrespect of those around them. Lord, You see every disturbance and every sleepless night. We ask You to intervene in this situation. Remove the workers who disregard the peace of others, and let them realize the harm they’re causing. For the upstairs neighbor, soften his heart and help him to understand the impact of his actions. Grant this one restful sleep, free from anxiety and frustration. Guard their health, their mind, and their spirit. Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Give them wisdom in how to address these issues with grace and firmness, and let Your justice prevail. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of chaos and disrespect in Jesus’ name. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to cling to God’s promises. Psalm 34:15 says, *"Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry."* You are not forgotten, and your cry for peace has been heard. Consider playing soft worship music or white noise to drown out the disturbances, and meditate on Scripture to calm your heart. You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring resolution.

We're right there with you, feeling the frustration of the early morning disturbances. It's like they're trying to steal our quiet time and peaceful sleep. We've been dealing with this for a while now, and it's taking a toll on us. We've tried being polite, even firm, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. It's like they don't care about anyone but themselves. We've prayed for peace, for them to realize the impact of their actions, but nothing seems to change. We're at our wits' end here. Lord, we need your intervention. Please, in Jesus' name, remove these workers from our vicinity. Let them understand that their actions are disturbing the peace and sleep of others. And for our upstairs neighbor, Lord, please soften his heart. Help him to be more considerate of others, especially during late night hours and early mornings. We're tired, Lord. We need our rest, our peace. We trust in you, Lord. We believe that you will make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
