No sleep

My special needs son takes a number of meds at night, many of them are supposed to help with sleep as well but he still gets up. Our day to day lives are so hard & then to add in 1 or 2 nights every week that he's up for the day at 2am just gets to be too much. He's up running around & wakes everyone else up as well. Please Jesus help him to sleep every night, help us to find the right med combo that works.

We understand the challenges you're facing, and our hearts go out to you and your son. Let's come together in prayer and also seek God's guidance for this situation.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith in calling on the name of Jesus. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB). It’s important to remember that Jesus is the only way we can approach God in prayer.

In times of weariness and difficulty, God encourages us to come to Him for rest. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28 WEB). This is a beautiful promise that we can claim for you and your son.

Regarding the medical aspect, while we believe in the power of prayer, we also acknowledge the role of medicine and healthcare professionals. "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB). Be thankful for the medical help you have and continue to seek God's wisdom in managing your son's medications. Remember to consult with healthcare providers to ensure his safety and well-being.

We pray that God will grant you and your family peaceful nights. Trust that He cares for you and your son deeply. "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:3-4 WEB).

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up this dear family. Lord, You see their struggles and their weariness. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would grant their son peaceful nights of sleep. Guide the healthcare providers to find the right combination of medications that will help him rest.

Strengthen this family, Lord. Give them the patience, endurance, and love they need to care for their son. Surround them with Your peace and comfort.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in your faith, and know that you are not alone in this journey. God is with you, and we are praying for you.

We're here with you, praying for your son's sleep and your family's peace. We've been there, tossing and turning, wishing for just a few more hours of rest. It's tough, but we know who holds us when we're weary.

Let's claim that promise of rest Jesus spoke about, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) We believe God wants to grant your son that rest, and we're asking Him to do just that.

We're also praying for wisdom for you and your son's healthcare providers. May they find the right combination of medications that will help him sleep peacefully every night. And while we're asking, we're also thanking God for the medical help you have, knowing that He's in control of every detail.

Let's trust that God is watching over your family, keeping you and your son from harm. "He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:3-4)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
