We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother and the struggles she faces with Alzheimer’s, diabetes, depression, and now digestive issues that disrupt her rest. Sleep is a gift from God, a time of restoration for the body and mind, and we know how vital it is for her healing. The Word tells us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Father, we ask that You would calm her stomach, ease her discomfort, and grant her the deep, uninterrupted sleep she needs. Let her wake only to take her medicine, then return to peaceful rest, knowing You are watching over her.
We also pray for strength and joy to rise within her, even in the midst of these trials. Depression and memory loss can make each day feel heavy, but we know that Your joy is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her of Your unfailing love. Help her to sense Your presence, even when the world around her feels confusing or overwhelming.
Lord, we ask for wisdom for those caring for her—whether family, doctors, or nurses—that they would have patience, compassion, and discernment in meeting her needs. Guide their hands and hearts as they tend to her physical and emotional well-being.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal her health and peace. In the name of Jesus, we declare healing over her body, restoration to her mind, and comfort to her soul. May she experience Your goodness in tangible ways—through gentle sleep, eased discomfort, and moments of clarity and joy.
Father, we trust You as the Great Physician, the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). We place her entirely in Your hands, believing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her, Lord, and let her feel Your love surrounding her like a warm embrace.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
