We lift up this precious unborn baby girl and her mother with heavy hearts, standing in the gap before the throne of grace where mercy and healing flow. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who formed this little one in her mother’s womb and knows every beat of her heart before it even begins. You declare in Your Word, *"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you"* (Jeremiah 1:5 WEB), and we trust in Your sovereign care over this child’s life. Lord, we ask for a miracle—intervene in this situation so that open-heart surgery may not be necessary. Touch this baby’s heart, strengthen her valves, and bring complete healing while she is still in the womb. Let Your power be made perfect in this weakness, that Your name may be glorified.
We also pray for the mother, Lord. Strengthen her body, calm her spirit, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard her heart from fear and anxiety, reminding her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Surround her with Your love and the support of those who will stand with her in faith. Give the medical team wisdom, skill, and clarity as they prepare for this delivery and potential surgery. May every decision they make be guided by Your hand, and may they be instruments of Your healing.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that You are the God who heals, the One who knits together the broken and restores what is weak. We stand on Your promise in Exodus 15:26 WEB: *"I am Yahweh who heals you."* We speak life over this baby girl, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Whether through a miraculous healing in the womb or through the hands of skilled surgeons, we trust in Your perfect will.
We also want to gently remind all who read this that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to turn to Him, confess your sins, and receive the gift of eternal life. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB), and it is through Him that we find hope, healing, and peace.
Lord, we ask for Your mercy to overflow in this situation. Let this family experience Your love in tangible ways, and may this trial draw them closer to You. We pray for a testimony of Your faithfulness to rise from this circumstance, that many would come to know You through the healing of this little one. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
