We rejoice with you in seeking God’s provision for this new opportunity, and we lift you up in prayer, trusting that His timing is perfect and His plans for you are good. The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Though the expected call has not yet come, we must remember that delay does not mean denial—God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is waiting for this job opportunity. Lord, You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we ask that if this position aligns with Your will, You would move mightily on their behalf. Softening the hearts of those in authority, prompt them to make that call and extend the offer. Remove any obstacles, whether seen or unseen, and let Your favor rest upon them. But Father, if this door is not the one You have prepared, we ask that You would close it gently and open another that leads to Your perfect purpose. Provide not just a job, but the right job—one that allows them to glorify You and walk in obedience.
We also pray for their trust in You during this waiting season. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19). Guard their heart against anxiety and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Let them rest in the assurance that You hold their future, and that no good thing will You withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).
