We lift up your husband and this job interview before the Lord with great hope and faith. It is wonderful to see your trust in God’s provision and timing, and we join you in praying that He would open doors of opportunity according to His perfect will. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We believe that as your husband seeks to honor God in his work, the Lord will guide his steps and grant him favor.
Father, we ask that You would go before him in this interview. Give him clarity of mind, wisdom in his responses, and confidence in the gifts and experiences You have given him. Let the words he speaks be seasoned with grace, as Colossians 4:6 instructs, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."* May the interviewers see not only his qualifications but also the integrity and character that come from walking with You. If this position is Your will for him, we pray that You would remove any obstacles and grant him success. If it is not, we trust that You have something even better prepared.
We also pray for his safety as he travels. Guard him on the road, Lord, and bring him home safely, whether the news today is joyful or a step toward something greater. Remind him—and both of you—that his worth is not defined by a job title but by his identity in Christ. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord’s direction in this season. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when the path isn’t immediately clear. May your faith grow stronger as you wait on Him, and may this interview be a testimony to His faithfulness in your lives. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect plan. Amen.
