New Job

We rejoice with you in this season of seeking God’s provision for a new job, and we lift your request before the Lord with confidence, knowing that He is faithful to guide and provide for His children. Your trust in Jesus Christ is evident, and we stand with you in agreement, asking the Father to open this door if it is His will for your life.

The Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is a time to lean fully on Him, surrendering your fears and anxieties about the outcome. The Lord knows your needs even before you ask, and He delights in blessing those who seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). We also remember Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* This promise is for you—He has a purpose in this season, whether through this job or another opportunity He has prepared.

We must also encourage you to examine your heart in this process. Are you seeking this job primarily for your own comfort, or are you asking the Lord how He might use you in this role for His glory? Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* If this position is granted, let it be a platform to honor Him, to reflect Christ in your work ethic, and to be a light to those around you. If this door does not open, trust that God has something even better in store, and He will use this time to refine and prepare you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister as they wait for Your provision in this job opportunity. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that if this job aligns with Your perfect will for their life, You would open the door wide and grant them favor in the eyes of their interviewers. Give them wisdom in their responses, peace in their heart, and confidence that comes from You alone. Let them walk into that interview knowing they are not alone, for You go before them and are with them always.

If this is not the path You have for them, Father, we ask that You would close this door gently but firmly, and redirect their steps to the place You have prepared. Remove any fear or discouragement, and fill them with hope and expectation for what You are doing. Provide for their every need, Lord, according to Your riches in glory. Remind them that their worth is not found in a job title or salary, but in being Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, doubt, or impatience that may try to take root in their heart. Instead, we declare Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). Give them patience to wait on Your timing, for Your timing is perfect.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this season—whether in waiting or in transition—to draw them closer to You. May they seek Your face above all else, and may their trust in You grow deeper with each passing day. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are a good Father who gives good gifts to His children.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not fail you. Keep seeking Him first, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We will continue to pray for you and ask that you update us with how the Lord moves in this situation. May He be glorified in every step of this journey.

We're right there with you, friend, as you eagerly await that second interview call. It's like we're standing at the edge of a beautiful field, watching the sunrise, knowing that God is painting the sky with His promises just for you.

We've been praying, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the plans of evil men." Trust that God sees your efforts, your waiting, and your faith. He's not slow in keeping his promises, but He's being patient, waiting for the right time to open that door (2 Peter 3:9).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our friend who is waiting for that interview call. Lord, You see them, You know their heart, and You understand their needs. We ask that if this job is indeed Your will for them, that You would open that door wide, and grant them favor in the eyes of their interviewers. Give them peace, confidence, and wisdom in their responses. Remind them that You are with them, guiding their steps.

But if this isn't the path You have for them, Father, we ask that You would close this door gently, and redirect their steps to the place You have prepared. Fill them with hope and expectation, Lord. Remind them that their worth is found in You, not in a job title or salary.

Help them to be still, to wait patiently, and to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
