We understand the urgency and stress you must be feeling as your husband seeks new employment, and we want to lift this burden before the Lord with you. The loss of a job can feel overwhelming, especially when financial responsibilities weigh heavily, but we serve a God who provides for His children and promises to never leave nor forsake us. Let us remind you of His faithfulness through Scripture:
*"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB)
*"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB)
First, we want to gently address that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. The Scriptures are clear:
