New job that fits me well

Hello. I am feeling stuck. Being helped into a new job, with new and kind social connections, would really help me. Thank you so much.

We hear your heart and the longing for purpose, fulfillment, and godly community in your work. The Lord has promised in His Word that He will guide and provide for His children, and we stand with you in faith, believing He has a plan for your vocational life that aligns with His will. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Your desire for a job that fits you well is not selfish, it is an opportunity for you to serve the Lord with your gifts and talents while being a light to those around you.

We also recognize the importance of godly connections in the workplace. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." The kindness and fellowship you seek are blessings from the Lord, and we pray He surrounds you with believers who will encourage you in your faith and walk with Christ. However, we must also caution you to guard your heart and ensure that any new relationships, whether friendships or potential courtships, are rooted in Christ and His Word. If you are unmarried, we encourage you to seek a spouse who shares your faith, as 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer, lifting your request to Him:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for [this individual] and for the gifts and talents You have placed within them. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You open the doors to a job that not only provides for their needs but also allows them to glorify You in their work. Guide them to a place where they can use their skills to serve others and reflect Your love.

Father, we also pray for godly connections in this new season. Surround them with believers who will sharpen them in faith, encourage them in truth, and walk alongside them in integrity. Protect their heart from any relationships that would draw them away from You, and if it is Your will, prepare the way for a godly spouse who will honor You in marriage.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or stagnation that may be holding them back. Fill them with Your peace and confidence, knowing that You hold their future. Help them to trust in Your timing and to seek You above all else. May they find their identity and worth in Christ alone, not in their career or the opinions of others.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to Your throne, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word as you wait for His guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Surrender your plans to Him, and He will direct your steps. If you have not already, we also invite you to reflect on your relationship with Jesus Christ. Have you placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior? Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet made this decision, we would love to help you understand the gift of salvation through Christ.

You are not alone in this season. The Lord sees you, loves you, and has a plan for your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you into the purpose He has prepared for you.

We hear how stuck you feel, and we're grateful you reached out. That sense of being hemmed in, where the days feel the same and you're longing for work that actually fits who you are, is a heavy weight to carry. You've named that new social connections matter just as much as the job itself, and that's wise. Work is rarely just about tasks; it's about the people alongside us, the laughter, the shared purpose. So we want to hold those two things together with you.

Sometimes forward motion begins with small, ordinary steps. It might help to think of one person you already know or have met, someone kind, someone steady, and simply let them know what you're looking for. Not a formal networking request, just a real conversation. Many good jobs and good connections grow out of quiet, everyday relationships like that. In the meantime, even doing one small thing each day that uses a skill you enjoy, or that puts you around people, can gently loosen the grip of feeling stuck.

Let us pray for you.

Lord Jesus, you know what it is to labor and to long for companionship in the work. Please open a door for our friend, not just any door, but one that fits how you've made them, where their gifts meet genuine need and where kindness wears a human face. Guard them from discouragement as they wait; give them patience and alertness to see the small openings that lead to larger ones. We ask for work that provides and relationships that nurture. In your name, amen.

Abstinence sobriety prayers and worship. Stay close to the Lord. Im very thankful to the Lord for all ny work. I couldn't work without a relationship with Father God through his son Yeshua. All my prayer and faith and worship to God because without him no work. Destruction. May the Lord be gracious to you with work as you continue in orayer faith and worship. Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

You speak of feeling stuck and longing for a new situation with kind companions. That hunger for change is not wrong in itself, yet I would ask you to pause and examine whether a mere shift in earthly circumstances can truly break the chains that bind the soul. Too many sit for years in the house of God out of custom, tasting only the old, musty wine of outward religion, yet never pressing their lips to the new wine of salvation crushed from the cluster by the dying Son of God. A new job may bring fresh faces, but a new heart alone can bring unfailing peace.

Remember Elijah fainting after his greatest triumph, Samson crying out in thirst after his mightiest deliverance. The very point where you feel strongest may conceal your deepest weakness, and the smaller trial may sting more fiercely than the lion you already slew. Yet you are still secure if you are in Christ; He who delivered you from the pit of sin will not fail you in the wilderness of weariness. This feeling of being stuck may be the Refiner’s flame, meant to separate dross from precious ore. Only He who kills can make alive; only He who wounds can bind up the broken spirit with tenderness.

If you find yourself in a dry place, do not imagine that a mere change of company can water your soul. Samson’s locks could not produce a single drop of dew. Instead, go down on your knees over the New Testament and cry, “Lord, teach me what this means.” Then you will discover God’s new way, the blessed ordinance by which, without abrogating the destroying Law, He brought in a glorious saving clause through the Savior. The true beginning of months is not marked by a fresh start on a calendar or a new position among men, but by that moment when all things become new within you by grace.

As for kind connections, remember the lowly King who rode not upon a warhorse but upon a colt, the foal of an ass. He is gentle and considerate; His people should have nothing of the savage about them. True fellowship flows from hearts united to Him, and such bonds are often forged in the furnace of affliction where pride is melted away. Beware of seeking first the friendship of the world, whose siren songs lull only to destroy. The devil is kind to his own for a season, but Christ’s friendship is tried and everlasting.

Feed upon the Word without limit. Let no little-faith pattern set bounds to your joy. There is a Beulah land where breezes from the celestial city blow even now. Fix your hope not upon a new employment, but upon Him who sits upon the well, weary yet ready to refresh the thirsting soul. He knows your frame; He remembers you are dust. Bring your request to Him for daily bread, but above all, seek that living water of which if a man drink he shall never thirst again. The Lord direct your path into patient trust and abiding fruitfulness, and grant you to see His hand in all your ways.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Feel stuck, yes, but remember that deliverance comes not from our own resources but entirely from the loving-kindness of God. Just as He saved a few by faith, leaving them not to perish like Sodom, so He will open a door for you. Do not faint. The very ministry of a new job and kind connections is a gift of mercy, not something you achieve by yourself. Often God leads us little by little, as He did the women at the tomb, whose courage and noble spirit brought them to the place of resurrection. Let that same courage rise in you. Adorn your soul with modesty, piety, and trust in His care, for such adornment never fades and pleases Him far more than any outward striving. Wait on the Lord, and He will bring you into a place that fits you well, not because you have earned it, but because He is rich in loving-kindness.

Your honest request reminds me so much of the kind of cries we find in the book of Job. Not because you have done something to deserve the feeling of being stuck, but because the same basic needs that troubled him still surface in human hearts today. We long for provision that fits, for relationships that are kind, for a sense that life is moving forward. When those things are absent, the soul can feel bare and the questions can run deep.

Sometimes well meaning people will reduce everything to a simple formula. They believe that if you just get right with God, your circumstances will automatically fall into place. Job’s friends argued that way. They were convinced his suffering must be the direct result of some hidden fault. But they were wrong. The background of the story shows God himself had a different estimation of Job entirely. What happened to him was not punishment for secret sin. Feeling stuck is not necessarily proof that you have failed or that God’s hand is against you. There are seasons when he allows us to reach the end of our own strength so we learn to rely on him in a deeper way.

Job did not pretend his pain was less than it was. He was honest about how bitter his complaint felt and how heavy his stroke seemed. There is no requirement to paste a smile over your disappointment or to make only positive confessions while ignoring what is real. You can speak truthfully to the Father about the weariness and the longing for a job that fits and for new, kind connections. Those desires are not sinful. They reflect how we are made to need meaningful work and genuine fellowship.

Yet as Job discovered, we do not always see what God is doing in the unseen realm. The trials that strip away our comforts can become the place where his work in us shines out, if only through forcing us to depend on him. The deepest needs Job voiced do find their answer not in an explanation from heaven but in Christ himself. Through him, the Father has met our ultimate need, and he remains faithful to sustain us in every lesser need as well.

Commit these things to him again, not as a guarantee that the outcome will match your timeline, but as a trust that your life is truly in his hands. Even when circumstances seem barren, you are not journeying alone, and you are not forgotten. The cry for a new beginning and for relationships marked by kindness is heard by the one who is able to do more than we ask or imagine.
