💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word, Gen 2:17, over lie of choosing right and wrong for herself, being her own god, Gen 3:4-5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead the woman we committed to each other before God together in the presence of many witnesses, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual spouse that is loved though she feeds on raisin cakes and is an adulteress, Hos 3:1-5.

Heavenly Father, I prayed for 21 years asking for one called alongside to help -- I still need that prayer answered... If she's the one I'm asking for some fruit, hope and faith, or if not, please let me know with clarity. In the meantime, Lord, this is urgent and I know You aren't particularly happy when signs are requested, but mercifully grant me some.

Help me pursue peace and show all people, children, friends, enemies, and especially the lost love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy he would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening worship songs and devotions, attend church, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview) -- do outreach together...

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We stand together in agreement with your heartfelt cry before the Lord, lifting up this dear woman and the deep longing of your own heart for a godly marriage that honors Christ. Your prayer is steeped in Scripture, and we join you in asking the Father to move mightily in this situation, trusting in His perfect will and timing.

First, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that have taken root in this situation. The serpent’s deception in Genesis 3:4-5 still whispers today, tempting hearts to believe they can define truth for themselves, to be their own gods, or to seek fulfillment outside of God’s design. We declare that this woman, and all involved, will resist these lies, submitting instead to the truth of God’s Word. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). The enemy prowls like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), but we stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17).

We also address the urgency in your request for clarity. While we understand the longing for confirmation, we gently remind you that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He does not always reveal His plans in the way we demand, but He is faithful to guide those who trust in Him. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that you will rest in His sovereignty, even as you continue to seek Him.

Your prayer for repentance is powerful. The kindness of God is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we join you in interceding for this woman and all involved to turn from any sin, whether it be hardness of heart, unbelief, or any form of idolatry, and to embrace the new heart God promises in Ezekiel 36:26. "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). We also lift up the family members involved, asking that God would raise up compassionate witnesses to speak truth in love, even as we repent for any neglect of pastoral counsel or fellowship. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we must not forsake gathering together (Hebrews 10:25).

We address the elephant in the room: the sanctity of marriage. Your prayer reflects a biblical understanding of marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this woman is not your wife, we must be clear that any sexual relationship outside of marriage is fornication, a sin that grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We pray that if this relationship is not aligned with God’s design, He would make that abundantly clear to you both. If it is His will for you to be married, we pray for a season of godly courtship, purity, and preparation, with marriage as the goal.

We also lift up your desire for a helper, a godly spouse who will walk with you in faith. This is a good and holy desire (Proverbs 18:22), but we must remember that our ultimate fulfillment is found in Christ alone. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Whether God grants you a wife or calls you to a life of singleness, we pray that you would find your joy and purpose in Him.

Your commitment to Scripture, worship, and godly living is an encouragement to us all. We pray that the Word would indeed take root in your hearts and bear fruit in every area of life. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God" (Colossians 3:16). May your lives be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), shining the light of Christ in a dark world.

We also lift up your desire to disciple others, especially children, in the truth of God’s Word. "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). May the next generation rise up to know and love the Lord, and may your home, whether single or married, be a place of gospel witness.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this situation and the deep longings of our brother’s heart. Lord, we ask that You would give him, and all involved, a new heart, one that is soft and pliable in Your hands (Ezekiel 36:26). Remove any hardness, any deception, any sin that stands in the way of Your will. Lead them to repentance by Your kindness (Romans 2:4), and let Your mercy renew them day by day (Titus 3:5-6).

Father, we pray for clarity. If this woman is the one You have for him, we ask that You would confirm it in Your way and Your timing. If not, we pray for peace and the strength to trust in Your plan. Give him the wisdom to discern Your voice and the courage to follow where You lead. We declare that Your Word is truth (Psalm 119:160), and we ask that it would be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they will resist the devil and stand firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:9). Protect them from temptation, and deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13).

We pray for this woman, that You would soften her heart and draw her to Yourself. Let her taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8), and that apart from You, there is no lasting fulfillment. If there is any sin in her life, whether it be unbelief, hardness of heart, or any form of idolatry, we ask that You would convict her by Your Holy Spirit and lead her to repentance.

Father, we also lift up the families involved. Raise up godly witnesses who will speak truth in love, and give them the courage to stand for what is right. Heal any brokenness, and restore what has been lost. Let Your love and grace flow through every relationship, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

We pray for our brother’s heart, that You would fill him with Your peace as he waits on You. Remind him that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6), and that Your timing is perfect. Whether You call him to marriage or singleness, we pray that he would find his joy and purpose in You alone.

Lord, we ask that You would sanctify them by Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Let the Scriptures dwell in them richly, transforming their minds and renewing their hearts (Romans 12:2). May their lives be a testimony to Your grace, and may they shine as lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). It is only through His name that we have access to You, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. We thank You for the gift of salvation, and we ask that You would draw all involved into a deeper relationship with Your Son.

We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified above all else. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We truly feel the weight of this prayer request, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with open hearts. It sounds like you've been wrestling with this for a long time, ### years is a long season to carry such a burden, and we want you to know that God sees every prayer and every tear.

When we read about the new heart God promises in Ezekiel 36:26, it reminds us that He specializes in transforming hard, stubborn places. We pray that He would soften every heart involved, yours, hers, and even those around you who may not yet understand the gravity of the situation. It’s not just about resisting temptation; it’s about surrendering to the truth that God’s way is good, even when it doesn’t feel easy or fast.

We also hear the longing in your words for clarity and direction. It’s hard to wait when the heart is so deeply invested, but we trust that God’s timing is perfect, even when it’s painful. In the meantime, we pray for strength to keep pursuing Him wholeheartedly, knowing that He is enough, whether the answer is what we hope for or something entirely different.

Lord, we ask that You would guard our brother’s heart from discouragement and frustration. Fill him with Your peace as he waits, and remind him that You are working even when he can’t see it. Protect him from burnout and bitterness, and keep his eyes fixed on You.

In the name of Jesus.
