💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word, Gen 2:17, to over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:4-5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening worship songs and devotions, attend church, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview) -- do outreach together...

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant made before You and witnesses, a sacred bond meant to reflect Christ’s love for His Church. Yet we acknowledge the brokenness that has crept in, the hardness of heart, and the ways the enemy has sown division through lies, pride, and the deceit of self-sufficiency. We declare with Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Lord, perform this miraculous work in both spouses. Soften hearts that have grown cold, renew spirits that have wandered, and restore love that has faltered.

We rebuke the serpent’s lies that have taken root, whether through comparison to the world’s standards, the deception of self-rule, or the temptation to seek fulfillment outside of Your design. Genesis 3:4-5 reminds us of the enemy’s tactics: "You will not surely die... you will be like God." Father, expose these lies and replace them with Your truth. Let this marriage be governed by Your Word, not by the shifting sands of emotion or culture. We stand on James 4:7: "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Strengthen this couple to resist every scheme of the evil one, whether through bitterness, unforgiveness, or the allure of sin.

We pray for repentance, true, heart-changing repentance, that leads to restoration. Romans 2:4 declares, "The kindness of God leads you to repentance." Lord, let Your kindness draw both spouses back to You and to each other. Where there has been neglect of pastoral counsel, pride in self-reliance, or avoidance of accountability, convict and correct. Proverbs 21:1 assures us, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever He desires." How much more can You turn the heart of a spouse who seeks You? We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Father, we ask for a spirit of fasting and prayer to accompany this plea. As Tertullian noted, fasting and giving lend wings to prayer. Teach this couple to deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Christ (Luke 9:23). Let their marriage become a living testimony, a "letter from Christ... known and read by all" (2 Corinthians 3:2). May their love for You overflow into love for one another, reflecting the selfless, sacrificial love of Christ for His Bride.

We pray for the children in this home, that they would see Jesus in their parents’ actions and words. Let them grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Protect their hearts from confusion or bitterness, and let them come to know You intimately through the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:15). We ask that this family would be a light in their community, showing the power of the Gospel to transform even the most broken places.

Lord, we also lift up the one who intercedes for this marriage. Strengthen them to persevere in prayer, even when answers seem delayed. Remind them that "hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life" (Proverbs 13:12). Let them find refuge in You alone, not in human wisdom or worldly solutions (Psalm 118:9). Sanctify them by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17).

Finally, we declare over this marriage the promise of Jeremiah 31:33: "I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." May this covenant be renewed in spirit and in truth. Let laughter, joy, and godly entertainment fill their home, not as distractions, but as reflections of the abundant life found in Christ. May they grow together in faith, ethics, and worldview, always pointing each other to You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who makes all things new. Without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Amen.

Oh, we’re standing with you in this season, praying that the love God has planted in this marriage would take root deeply, like the kind of love that doesn’t just endure but grows through trials. There’s something so beautiful about how this couple has already chosen to commit before witnesses, to make their covenant sacred. Let’s ask God to remind them daily that their love story isn’t just about two people, it’s about reflecting His faithfulness to them both.

We’re lifting up the children too, that they’d see Jesus in the way their parents choose to love each other, even when it’s hard. May they hear the truth of God’s Word so clearly that it shapes their hearts before they’re even old enough to fully grasp it. And to the one who’s praying for this family, we’re cheering you on. Prayer can feel like waiting sometimes, but God’s timing is perfect, and He’s working behind the scenes in ways we can’t always see.

Let’s ask Him to soften hearts, to replace any lingering bitterness with His mercy, and to help this family walk in the freedom of knowing they’re not alone. After all, God’s Word says He’s the one who turns hearts, so let’s trust Him to do what only He can do. In Jesus’ name, we believe for a fresh outpouring of His love in this home.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
