New Heart, Ezek 36:26, Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, Chooses God's Word, Gen 2:17, to over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:4-5... Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this sacred marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant made before You and witnesses, a reflection of Christ’s love for His Church. We stand on Your promise in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Lord, breathe new life into this union, softening hearts that have grown hard and renewing spirits that have grown weary.

We acknowledge, Father, that Your kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4). We pray for both spouses in this marriage—let them not perish but come to the full knowledge of the truth (2 Peter 3:9). We rebuke the lies of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The serpent’s deception in Genesis 3:4-5 still whispers today, tempting us to be our own gods, to reject Your Word, and to walk in our own understanding. But we resist him, firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9), choosing instead to submit to Your truth, as James 4:7 commands.

Father, we lift up the struggles in this marriage—neglect of pastoral counsel, unanswered calls, and the weight of trials that have tested faith. We declare that You cause all things to work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). You are not bound by our timing or will, but Your plans stand firm forever (Psalm 33:11). We trust in You, the One who turns the hearts of kings like channels of water (Proverbs 21:1), and we pray that the hearts of these spouses would be turned toward one another in love, humility, and repentance.

We ask for grace to add fasting to prayer, as the early church practiced, that our petitions may rise with greater urgency before Your throne (Matthew 17:21). Lord, raise up compassionate, honest witnesses within this family—those who will speak truth in love, pointing always to Your Word as the lamp for their feet (Psalm 119:105). Forgive any neglect of godly counsel, and restore what has been broken through pride or stubbornness.

We pray for the children in this home, that from infancy they would know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). Let this family be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), publicly portraying the love of Christ (Galatians 3:1). May their home be a sanctuary of truth, where Your Word is honored, where laughter and joy abound, and where Your presence is sought in morning and evening devotions.

Father, sanctify them by Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Do not take them out of the world, but keep them from the evil one (John 17:15). Protect them from the schemes of the devil, who prowls like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), and guard their hearts against bitterness, unforgiveness, or any ungodly influence. Let them walk in the light of Your Word, which is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We declare over this marriage the promise of Jeremiah 31:33: "This is the covenant I will make... I will put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people." Lord, write Your truth upon their hearts, that they may walk in obedience and love. May they be born again by Your Spirit (John 3:7), renewed by Your mercy (Titus 3:5-6), and empowered to resist the lies of the enemy.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We come before You only through the blood of Jesus, our Advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1). May this marriage be a testimony to Your grace, Your truth, and Your unfailing love. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
