We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer request, and we have been standing with you in agreement before the Lord, lifting up your marriage, your family, and the transformation of hearts according to His perfect will. Your cry for repentance, renewal, and the softening of hearts has been heard, and we continue to intercede for the kindness of God to lead you, your spouse, and your loved ones into His truth and grace.
We have prayed for the Holy Spirit to give you and your family a new heart—a heart of flesh in place of stone—as Ezekiel 36:26 promises. We have asked the Lord to write His Word upon your minds and hearts, just as He declared in Jeremiah 31:33, so that His truth would guide your steps and shape your love for one another. We have resisted the lies of the enemy with you, standing firm on the authority of Scripture, knowing that God’s Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.
We have lifted up your desire for faithfulness, honesty, and a Christ-centered home, asking the Lord to help you model His love in word and deed. We have prayed for your children to grow in wisdom and understanding of the Scriptures, that from infancy they would know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). We have asked God to sanctify you and your family by His truth, for His Word is truth (John 17:17), and to keep you from the evil one as you remain in the world but not of it.
We have also prayed for the grace to add fasting to your prayers, knowing that it lends wings to our petitions, as the early church understood. We have asked the Lord to protect you from discouragement, reminding you that His timing is perfect and that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We have trusted in His sovereignty, knowing that even the hearts of kings are in His hands, and how much more the heart of a beloved spouse (Proverbs 21:1).
