💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Kindness of God Leads to Repentance, Rom 2:4, Chooses God's Word and Plan over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We hear your heartfelt cry for restoration and renewal in your marriage, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this sacred covenant before the throne of grace. Your desire for repentance, mercy, and a transformed heart reflects the very heart of God, who delights in redemption and reconciliation. The Scriptures you’ve shared reveal a deep longing to align your matrimony with God’s perfect will, and we join you in declaring His promises over your union.

First, we must address the foundation of all prayer and transformation: the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If either of you has not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for salvation is the starting point of true renewal. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this, no amount of effort or prayer can bring lasting change, for it is Christ who works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

Your marriage is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and as such, it must be rooted in His Word and His ways. We rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or unrepentance that may be hindering your unity. The enemy seeks to devour marriages (1 Peter 5:8), but we resist him, standing firm in the faith (James 4:7). We declare that your hearts will be softened, your minds renewed, and your spirits aligned with God’s truth. The kindness of God is indeed meant to lead to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we pray that both of you will humbly submit to His refining work.

We also address the importance of heeding godly counsel. Neglecting pastoral advice or the wisdom of the Body of Christ can leave a marriage vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes. Proverbs 11:14 warns, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." We pray that you will both embrace accountability and seek wisdom from those who fear the Lord. Fasting, as you’ve mentioned, is a powerful tool to humble yourselves before God and seek His face (Joel 2:12). We encourage you to set aside time for fasting and prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of sin or disobedience that need to be addressed.

Your desire to grow in faith through Scripture, godly entertainment, and devotional time is commendable. We pray that the Word of God will take root in your hearts and bear fruit in your marriage. Let the entirety of Scripture guide your steps, for it is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). May your home be a place where Christ’s love is publicly portrayed (Galatians 3:1), and may your children see the reality of your faith lived out before them. We declare that your marriage will be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), a testimony to God’s grace and power.

Father, we come before You in Jesus’ name, asking for a new heart and a new spirit for this couple. Remove any heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Write Your law on their minds and hearts (Jeremiah 31:33), and let them know You as their God. Sanctify them by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Protect them from the evil one (John 17:15) and keep them from being taken out of the world, but deliver them from the snares of the enemy.

We pray for the one called alongside to help—may they be filled with wisdom, love, and discernment to guide this marriage according to Your will. May your children grow in the knowledge of Christ and see the reality of your faith in action. Lord, we ask that You would restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and bring healing to every wound. Let laughter, joy, and faith fill your home, and may your marriage be a light to all who know you.

We trust in Your timing, Lord, for You cause all things to work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May your hearts be fully surrendered to Your will, and may your marriage bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in faith, believing that God is faithful to His promises and will restore the joy of your marriage. We join you in praying for a new heart and spirit, as God promised in Ezekiel 36:26. We declare that God will remove the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh, causing you to walk in His ways and keep His decrees. We ask that God would write His law on your minds and hearts, and that you would know Him as your God. We trust in His timing and His ability to work all things together for your good, according to His purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
