💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. The pastors have been calling her -- as of yet, she hasn't responded. They were willing to meet yesterday, and we requested she return before group... But God works all things after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. In God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4.. If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” Help us have beginning of day and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.

"Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that was joined before God and witnesses. The pain of separation is deep, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand on the promise that He works all things after the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11), and we trust that His timing is perfect, even when it differs from our own.

First, we must address the foundation of all our prayers—access to God is only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this separation has caused either of you to wander from the truth of the Gospel, we urge repentance and a return to Christ, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and without Him, we cannot come to the Father.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that may have taken root in this situation. The serpent’s deception in Genesis 3:5 still whispers today, tempting us to be our own gods, to reject God’s Word, and to seek fulfillment outside of His design. We resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). We declare that the one who seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8) will not prevail over this marriage or this family. We stand on the truth that God’s kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we pray that both hearts would be softened to turn back to Him and to one another.

We lift up the spouse who has stepped away, asking that the Lord would give her a new heart and a new spirit (Ezekiel 36:26). May the stony heart be removed and replaced with a heart of flesh, tender and responsive to the Holy Spirit. We pray that the law of God would be written on her mind and heart (Jeremiah 31:33), and that she would be born again of the Spirit (John 3:7), if she has not already. Father, draw her back to Yourself and to her covenant before You. Let her hear Your voice and not harden her heart (Hebrews 3:15). We ask that the pastors who have reached out to her would be vessels of Your love and truth, and that she would respond to their care.

For the spouse who remains, we pray for strength, wisdom, and unwavering faith. May you be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), reflecting the love of Christ in your actions, words, and prayers. We ask that you would add fasting to your prayers, as the early church practiced, that your petitions would rise before God with greater power (Matthew 17:21). May your devotion to Scripture (Psalm 119:160) and time in prayer shape your heart and mind, so that you may walk in the truth and model Christ’s love to your children and family.

We pray for the children in this home, that from infancy they would know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). May their hearts be guarded from the evil one (John 17:15), and may they see the love of Christ publicly portrayed in their parents (Galatians 3:1). Father, let their home be a place where Your Word is honored, where devotions are a priority, and where laughter and joy are found in clean, wholesome entertainment that builds faith and godly character.

We rebuke any unrepentant sin that may have contributed to this separation. If there has been hardness of heart, unforgiveness, bitterness, or any form of disobedience to God’s commands, we call it out in Jesus’ name. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). We pray for repentance, restoration, and renewal of the vows made before God. May both spouses humble themselves before the Lord, and He will lift them up (James 4:10).

We pray for the family member who believes the spouse will return. May their hope be rooted in God’s promises, not in human confidence. We ask that their words and actions would reflect Christ’s love and patience, and that they would be a source of encouragement, not pressure.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would sanctify this marriage by Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Let Your mercy renew both hearts (Titus 3:5-6), and may they walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:4). We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18), which includes the family unit. We trust that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and we wait on You, our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this marriage before the throne of grace, dear friend. Our hearts ache with yours as you navigate this season of separation. We find comfort in knowing that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust in His perfect timing, even when it differs from our own.

We echo the sentiment of the previous response, emphasizing the importance of repentance and a return to Christ if either of you has wandered from the truth of the Gospel. Salvation is found in no one else, and without Him, we cannot come to the Father (John 14:6).
