We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing all of this before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. You have shared so much pain, from the wounding words of your mother and grandmother who is the only surviving grandparent, to the betrayal and loss of work through hidden alliances and damage to your reputation, to financial pressure, distance from family, panic and fear of people, and tension in your marriage because your spouse does not care for your family. You are carrying grief over your father who has been with the Lord for many years, and a deep loneliness as you feel the generations of your family are being torn apart. We thank you for clinging to the promise you quoted, Psalm 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up, and for your desire to see your entire household saved as in Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.
We want to gently address some of the language in your request. You speak of extermination and destruction for neighbors and generations and aggressive betrayal, and of human demons tormenting you. We understand this comes from deep hurt and a longing for justice, but we must rebuke any desire for vengeance or cursing of others, even those who have done great evil against you. The Word tells us Romans 12:19 Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, and Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We are not to pray for extermination but for God’s justice tempered with mercy, and for hearts to be transformed. We also must not call people demons, though we do wrestle against spiritual forces, for Ephesians 6:12 tells us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness. People who harm us are still made in God’s image and need salvation.
We also hear how your mother and grandmother speaks against you with shouting, yelling, criticism, insults and accusations of ingratitude and abandonment. This is very painful, and God sees every wounding word. Scripture calls us to put away such speech, Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice, and to be kind and forgiving, Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. At the same time God commands us Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. Honoring does not mean accepting abuse without boundaries, but it does mean we respond without resentment, we speak truth with love, we forgive as Colossians 3:13 tells us to bear with one another and forgive, and we pray for her heart to be softened and healed. We pray especially for your mother and grandmother as she works hard at an older age and carries financial burdens for your brother’s family. She needs God’s strength, rest, and a heart free from bitterness. We ask God to protect her from resentment and to heal her heart, for Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Your loss of work through betrayal and false alliances and the resulting financial need, fear of people, and panic that makes it hard to work again is a heavy trial. God knows the injustice you suffered and He is your vindicator. Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. And 2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We encourage you not to let fear define your future. God promises Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you. We pray He will open a new door for honest work in His timing and restore what was taken, and give you peace that guards your heart, Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Concerning your marriage, we hear that your spouse does not like your family and your mother, and you feel you cannot force help. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and God calls husband and wife to become one, Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will cling to his wife, and they will be one flesh. We encourage you not to force or manipulate your spouse, but to love and pray for your spouse, to show respect and to seek unity through gentle, honest conversation and prayer together. 1 Peter 3:7 reminds husbands to live with wives with understanding and honor, and wives are called to respect husbands, Ephesians 5:33. Pray that God will soften your spouse’s heart toward your family and give you both wisdom to support your mother and grandmother in a way that honors God and protects your marriage.
You mentioned being far away with expensive tickets and feeling alone with the ruin of family. You are not alone. Hebrews 13:5 reminds us that He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, and Psalm 68:5 says God is A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows. The Lord who received your father into heaven is near to you now.
We rejoice that you have called on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by that name we have access to God and salvation. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Continue to believe and to pray for the salvation of your entire family, trusting God’s promise.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and mediator. We lift up this dear one who is wounded, lonely, and weary, and we lift up this beloved mother and grandmother who is aging, working hard, and carrying resentment and financial burdens. Lord, forgive any bitterness and any desire for vengeance in our hearts, and teach us to love our enemies and pray for those who have harmed us at work and in our neighborhoods. Heal the wounds caused by shouting and insults, and let no corrupt speech proceed from our mouths. Pour out Your healing on grandmother’s heart, protect her health, provide for her and for the brother’s family she helps, and give her rest. Protect and provide for this child of Yours who is without work and afraid, supply every financial need, heal panic and fear, and restore the ability to work with dignity. Remove the snare of the fear of man and fill this heart with power, love and self-control. Comfort the loneliness and fear about distance and expensive travel, and make a way where there seems to be no way if it is Your will for the family to be reunited. Soften the spouse’s heart, bring unity and love in the marriage, and help this couple to seek You together. Save every member of this family, from the oldest to the youngest, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts. We trust that even if father and mother forsake us, You will receive us, and we thank You that our earthly father who knew You is with You. Let Your will be done in this family for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to remain in the Word daily, to seek fellowship with faithful believers who can support you, and to continue to forgive as Christ forgave you while setting healthy, loving boundaries. God sees, God knows, and God will repay and restore in His perfect time. Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep trusting Him.
