We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing all of this before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. You have shared so much pain, from the wounding words of your mother and grandmother who is the only surviving grandparent, to the betrayal and loss of work through hidden alliances and damage to your reputation, to financial pressure, distance from family, panic and fear of people, and tension in your marriage because your spouse does not care for your family. You are carrying grief over your father who has been with the Lord for many years, and a deep loneliness as you feel the generations of your family are being torn apart. We thank you for clinging to the promise you quoted, Psalm 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up, and for your desire to see your entire household saved as in Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.

We want to gently address some of the language in your request. You speak of extermination and destruction for neighbors and generations and aggressive betrayal, and of human demons tormenting you. We understand this comes from deep hurt and a longing for justice, but we must rebuke any desire for vengeance or cursing of others, even those who have done great evil against you. The Word tells us Romans 12:19 Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, and Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We are not to pray for extermination but for God’s justice tempered with mercy, and for hearts to be transformed. We also must not call people demons, though we do wrestle against spiritual forces, for Ephesians 6:12 tells us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness. People who harm us are still made in God’s image and need salvation.

We also hear how your mother and grandmother speaks against you with shouting, yelling, criticism, insults and accusations of ingratitude and abandonment. This is very painful, and God sees every wounding word. Scripture calls us to put away such speech, Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice, and to be kind and forgiving, Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. At the same time God commands us Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. Honoring does not mean accepting abuse without boundaries, but it does mean we respond without resentment, we speak truth with love, we forgive as Colossians 3:13 tells us to bear with one another and forgive, and we pray for her heart to be softened and healed. We pray especially for your mother and grandmother as she works hard at an older age and carries financial burdens for your brother’s family. She needs God’s strength, rest, and a heart free from bitterness. We ask God to protect her from resentment and to heal her heart, for Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

Your loss of work through betrayal and false alliances and the resulting financial need, fear of people, and panic that makes it hard to work again is a heavy trial. God knows the injustice you suffered and He is your vindicator. Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. And 2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We encourage you not to let fear define your future. God promises Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you. We pray He will open a new door for honest work in His timing and restore what was taken, and give you peace that guards your heart, Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Concerning your marriage, we hear that your spouse does not like your family and your mother, and you feel you cannot force help. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and God calls husband and wife to become one, Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will cling to his wife, and they will be one flesh. We encourage you not to force or manipulate your spouse, but to love and pray for your spouse, to show respect and to seek unity through gentle, honest conversation and prayer together. 1 Peter 3:7 reminds husbands to live with wives with understanding and honor, and wives are called to respect husbands, Ephesians 5:33. Pray that God will soften your spouse’s heart toward your family and give you both wisdom to support your mother and grandmother in a way that honors God and protects your marriage.

You mentioned being far away with expensive tickets and feeling alone with the ruin of family. You are not alone. Hebrews 13:5 reminds us that He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, and Psalm 68:5 says God is A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows. The Lord who received your father into heaven is near to you now.

We rejoice that you have called on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by that name we have access to God and salvation. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Continue to believe and to pray for the salvation of your entire family, trusting God’s promise.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and mediator. We lift up this dear one who is wounded, lonely, and weary, and we lift up this beloved mother and grandmother who is aging, working hard, and carrying resentment and financial burdens. Lord, forgive any bitterness and any desire for vengeance in our hearts, and teach us to love our enemies and pray for those who have harmed us at work and in our neighborhoods. Heal the wounds caused by shouting and insults, and let no corrupt speech proceed from our mouths. Pour out Your healing on grandmother’s heart, protect her health, provide for her and for the brother’s family she helps, and give her rest. Protect and provide for this child of Yours who is without work and afraid, supply every financial need, heal panic and fear, and restore the ability to work with dignity. Remove the snare of the fear of man and fill this heart with power, love and self-control. Comfort the loneliness and fear about distance and expensive travel, and make a way where there seems to be no way if it is Your will for the family to be reunited. Soften the spouse’s heart, bring unity and love in the marriage, and help this couple to seek You together. Save every member of this family, from the oldest to the youngest, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts. We trust that even if father and mother forsake us, You will receive us, and we thank You that our earthly father who knew You is with You. Let Your will be done in this family for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to remain in the Word daily, to seek fellowship with faithful believers who can support you, and to continue to forgive as Christ forgave you while setting healthy, loving boundaries. God sees, God knows, and God will repay and restore in His perfect time. Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep trusting Him.

We have read what you shared and we hear how heavy this has been, the constant shouting and criticism from your mother, the hurt from how your last job ended, the financial strain and distance from family, and the fear that now makes it hard to be around people or to work. Carrying all of that at once while feeling alone is a lot, and we are really glad you reached out.

It makes sense that words spoken over and over would leave you feeling worn down and on edge. When someone close to us uses that kind of harsh tone, it can cut deeply and stay with us long after the moment has passed, and when that is combined with betrayal at work it can make it hard to trust anyone. We also hear your love and concern for your mother, that she is older, still working hard to help your brother's family, and that you want protection and peace for her even as your own relationship with her feels so painful.

A steady next step that may help is to have one trusted person nearby to walk with you in person, a pastor or a biblical counselor at a local church you trust, who can listen, pray with you regularly, and help you think through wise boundaries and next decisions for work and family. And since you mentioned panic and not being able to work, we also encourage you to see a medical professional alongside prayer, just to have support for your health as you seek healing.

Father, we lift this dear one and their mother and whole family to You. Cover them with Your care, bring peace where there has been shouting, provide for daily needs, and draw each heart closer to You. Give wisdom for work and for family relationships, calm fear, and remind them they are not alone but received and held by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your prayer has been heard and your sorrow has been laid before the throne of grace, and we join you in carrying it to the Lord who does not turn away the broken heart.

You speak of a mother who is also a grandmother, the last of that generation, now aged and labouring hard beyond her years, yet whose words toward you are sharp and wounding, with shouting and reproach. And you speak truly from Psalm 27:10, Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. There are times when even those nearest to us, whom we are commanded to honour, become a source of pain, and the Lord knows this grief. He who taught that we must not say Corban to escape our duty to father and mother sees your desire to honour her, and He will give you grace to continue in that honour, not by returning evil for evil, but by praying for her peace and for the softening of her heart. We will pray that God will protect her from resentment, heal her heart, and grant her rest from her labour, and that He will provide for her and for your brother's household whom she helps with her finances.

You tell also of betrayal in your work, of alliances formed against you, of a reputation torn and progress stopped, and of the fear of man which now besets you like a panic. This too the Lord understands, for He was betrayed by one who walked with Him and who held the bag. Man's sin reached its height when the Son of God was betrayed with a kiss, and therefore Christ is able to sympathize with all who suffer from false friends and hidden counsels. Few of us ever thought to see such a panic as you describe, but in the midst of commercial and personal shakings this remains, that though father and mother might forsake you, you can never lose this joyous fact, you are an heir of God, joint heir with Jesus Christ. Though stripped bare by loss and poverty, you can yet say, He is my Father still. The fear of man brings a snare, but whoso puts his trust in the Lord shall be safe. We pray that the Lord will deliver you from this panic and from the disability to labour which has followed, and that your recovery, though it be slow, may be sure, for as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger you will acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection.

You are far from your family, the way made hard by distance and cost, and you feel alone, as if your generation were cut off. You grieve also for your spouse who has no love for your family and your mother, and you feel you cannot force what only grace can give. Know that the God of peace has prepared everything necessary for a perfect reconciliation. He was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. That word of reconciliation is that through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone sinners are received and made at peace with God. There is no other name by which we must be saved. We pray with you Acts 16:31, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household, that this great salvation may be known in your mother's house and in your own, and that your father who long ago departed to be with the Heavenly Father may be the first of many in your family whom you shall meet again in glory.

We pray also for your marriage, that the Lord who ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman would knit your hearts together in love and in honour for one another, and give you both wisdom to love what God loves and to bear with one another in tenderness. Pray for your spouse as Christ prayed for those who despitefully used Him, and seek that reconciliation which the Holy Spirit alone can work.

Therefore let us pray together. O Lord our God, Father to the fatherless and defence of the lonely, look upon this Thy child who feels forsaken and afraid. Receive this dear mother and grandmother into Thy hands, soften her tongue, take away resentment, heal her heart, and give her peace. Provide for her and for the household she sustains, and keep them from want. Remember this Thy servant in his affliction at work, vindicate his cause, restore what has been taken, and take away the fear of man and the spirit of panic, and grant strength to labour again. Heal the breach between husband and wife, and teach them to walk in love and forbearance. Let salvation come to this whole family through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for all things are of God who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. Grant that though recovery be slow, each step may be owned as Thy mercy, until Thou bringest this family out of darkness into Thy marvellous light. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
