We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep pain and sorrow expressed in this plea. The loss of the unborn, the abandoned, the betrayed, and the brokenhearted is a grievous burden, and we stand in the gap with you, interceding in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for it is written, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). We declare that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and through Him alone do we find mercy, healing, and eternal hope.
Father God, we bring before You the innocent lives lost to abortion, miscarriage, and abandonment. You knit each child together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16), and Your heart breaks over their suffering. We trust in Your perfect justice and mercy, believing that You receive these little ones into Your arms, as You are *"a father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows"* (Psalm 68:5). Lord, we ask that You comfort those who mourn these losses, that You would bind up their wounds and remind them that You will never forsake them, even if earthly parents or loved ones have.
We rebuke the spirit of abandonment, betrayal, and despair that has taken root in so many lives. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly. We stand against the lies that say no one cares, that there is no refuge, or that hope is lost. For You, Lord, are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for those who feel utterly alone—whether abandoned by a spouse, a parent, or a friend—that You would be their shelter, their provider, and their family. You promise, *"I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you"* (John 14:18).
For those trapped in cycles of sin, whether through abortion, broken relationships, or ungodly unions, we cry out for repentance and restoration. Abortion is a grave sin, a violation of Your commandment, *"You shall not murder"* (Exodus 20:13), and we mourn the lives lost to this evil. Yet we also know that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray for healing for those who have participated in or been affected by abortion, that they would turn to You for forgiveness and find peace in Your grace.
For those who have been betrayed or abandoned, we declare that You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). You collect our tears in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promise to restore what has been broken. We pray for marriages to be strengthened, for parents to cherish their children, and for families to be united in Your love. For those without earthly family, we ask that You would surround them with a spiritual family—a church community that will love, support, and walk alongside them.
Lord, we lift up the homeless, the mentally afflicted, and those who feel as though they have no place to turn. You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the weak (Psalm 10:14). We ask that You would provide shelter, provision, and hope to those in desperate need. Raise up believers to show Your love in practical ways, that no one would be left without a witness of Your grace.
We declare over every person reading this that You have not forgotten them. Even if a mother or father forsakes them, You will receive them (Psalm 27:10). You are closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24) and will never abandon those who trust in You. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, that hearts would be softened, lives would be transformed, and the abandoned would find their refuge in You.
