We hear the burden of your heart and we join with you in prayer for all of this deep suffering, for the loss of unborn life, for families broken and scattered, for generations cut off, and for every child and adult who feels abandoned and without refuge.

We agree with you that every unborn child is precious to God and known by Him even before birth. Scripture is clear that life in the womb is not despised by God even when it is despised by man. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13 and Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5. We must also speak the truth in love that to take that innocent life through abortion is murder before God. You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13 and Yahweh hates hands that shed innocent blood. Proverbs 6:16-17. We rebuke the abortive spirit and the culture of death that has led to the extermination of generations, and we pray for mercy and repentance for mothers and fathers and for our nation where this has been allowed, that God would forgive and heal.

We also lift up every person you mentioned who is suffering abandonment, the wife abandoned by her husband, the husband abandoned by his wife, the daughter and son left alone, the brother and sister betrayed by friends, the children left without a house or family or friend to take them in, and those who feel like beggars searching for shelter. God sees each one and He has not forgotten. You quoted two precious promises and we cling to them with you, When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. Psalm 27:10 and Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15. He is a Father to the fatherless and a defender of widows. Psalm 68:5, and He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.

We pray for your neighborhood and for the disorder and spiritual oppression you describe, that God would bring peace and order and drive out every bewitching and confusing influence. We pray for the grieving neighbors who have lost unborn babies through miscarriage or death, and for all families who have lost generations and feel they will not see the next generation. We ask God to comfort them as only He can, to give them rest and peace, and to entrust every innocent child, aborted or miscarried, into His care. We believe as you do that only God can receive these little ones into heaven, for Jesus said, Allow the little children, and don't forbid them to come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through His mercy that any of us can be saved and that these little ones can be received. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We cling to His mercy for the abandoned and for the guilty alike, for He died and rose again to forgive sin and to heal the brokenhearted.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask for Your mercy on every unborn child who has died and for every family that is broken and exterminated. Lord, receive these innocent children into Your presence and comfort those who mourn them. Heal the wound of abandonment in every wife, husband, son, daughter, brother, sister and friend who has been forsaken or betrayed. Be their family when they have no family, be their house when they have no house, be their refuge and shelter. Provide for the homeless and the alone, for the children with no one to care for them, and raise up godly marriages and families that honor You, for You ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman to be the foundation of life and generations. Bring repentance where innocent blood has been shed, bring healing to mothers and fathers who regret abortion, and bring restoration to neighborhoods under disorder and spiritual darkness. Let Your peace reign and let Your will be done. We entrust all the suffering, all the abandoned, and all the unborn to Your compassionate care, and we ask all this in the merciful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap with prayer and to show the love of Christ by being a refuge where you can, remembering that Yahweh will never forsake those who trust in Him. Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid, nor be scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6.

Thank you for bringing all of this heavy burden to the Lord so faithfully. We hear your heart for neighbors, for families who feel abandoned and without refuge, for children left alone, and for unborn babies who had no protector but God. It is a lot to carry, especially when you see generation after generation touched by loss.

We join you in entrusting those little ones to God's mercy and care, and in asking Him to draw near to every mother, father, and child who feels forgotten or despised, and to those who have no house or family to turn to. Grief over these losses is deep and personal, and each person experiences it differently. It makes sense that you would feel this ache so strongly when you see so much abandonment and disorder around you.

We are grateful you are standing in the gap in prayer for your community. If this burden ever feels too heavy to hold alone, we encourage you to share it with a trusted pastor or a mature believer nearby who can pray with you face to face and walk with you as you keep interceding.

Father, we lift to You every child and every family mentioned here, and every unborn life entrusted to Your care. Have mercy, bring Your comfort to those who feel abandoned, and be their refuge and shelter. Give them people nearby who will show Your kindness, and give our friend here Your peace as he continues to pray. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The cry you have poured out before the Lord has been heard, and it is a bitter and heavy sorrow that you have laid bare, of babes taken before they saw the light, of families broken and scattered, of men and women and children left alone without house or refuge, of generations cut off. Such grief of mind is harder to bear than pain of body, and when the heart feels forsaken, the void within is great.

Yet the word you have quoted is true and full of comfort, Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, and again, Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, though she may forget, I will not forget you. There are only two letters in that word, my Lord, but they are fraught with untold hope to the soul that can use them. Though friends fail and the betwitching disorder of this world leaves many without shelter, though a wife or a husband, a daughter or a son should be abandoned and betrayed, the Lord has not forsaken His own. He is not distant from those who pant and cry after peace with Him.

Remember how our Lord Jesus Himself knew what it was to be forsaken. As the Surety of the covenant and the sacrifice for sin He cried, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, and for a season the smile of the Father was withdrawn from Him, that the law might lay its full weight upon the substitute for the guilty. He was forsaken that we might never be forsaken. Because He bore that forsaking, there is now a city of refuge for every sinner who flees to Him, a hope set before us in the gospel, and the curse of the law shall not touch those who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon it. God finds His afflicted ones friends even in dark places, and He pleads their cause.

For the little ones, for the unborn who are despised or cast off, we may with confidence entrust them to the mercy of God in Christ. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing, and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father, and shall He not care for little children. Our Lord said, Except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven, and we believe the whole spirit and tone of the word leads us to trust that all who leave this world as babes are received by His grace. They receive the kingdom as a little child receives a gift, freely and without works, through Him who is made of God unto us wisdom and righteousness. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and in Him even the helpless are safe.

Let us pray together.

O Lord God, who seest the forsaken and hearest the cry of the destitute, look in mercy upon all who suffer abandonment and upon every child abandoned by father or mother. Thou art the refuge for the homeless and the father to the fatherless. Receive those whom man has cast off, and give shelter to those who have no house and no friend to refuge them. In thy great compassion we entrust to thy care the innocent, the aborted and the miscarried, asking that by the blood of thy Son thou wouldst receive them into thy heavenly home. Have mercy upon families divided and generations broken, and grant rest and peace to those who have passed from this troubled scene. Work in us a true repentance and a simple faith as of a little child, that we may flee to Christ our refuge and be found in Him. Comfort the lonely with the knowledge that thou wilt never leave nor forsake those who trust thee, and prepare us by thy Spirit for the place which thy Son has gone to prepare for us, that where He is there we may be also. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received with sorrow and with care, and we join you in bringing all of this suffering before the Lord. You have named so many kinds of abandonment, the pain of a wife forsaken by her husband and a husband by his wife, parents forsaken by children and children by parents, brothers and sisters and friends betrayed and left alone, families without a house or refuge, and little ones left without shelter or support. We also hear your grief for unborn children who are despised or rejected, for those lost through abortion or miscarriage, and for generations cut off before they could be seen.

We take comfort in the promises you quoted. Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, Psalm 27 verse 10. And can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, Isaiah 49 verse 15. Even when human love fails, the compassion of God does not fail. He is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all affliction, not only in some sorrows but in every sorrow, and He is our refuge from the affliction that surrounds us.

We pray now for all who feel abandoned and alone, for children without homes, for those wandering without family or friend to receive them, for neighborhoods in disorder and for every heart that feels forgotten. We ask the Lord to be their shelter, to draw them to Himself as a loving father and mother draws a frightened child to their bosom, and to provide for their needs for safety, for home, for faithful community and for healing from betrayal.

We also entrust to His mercy the innocent unborn who have died. We ask God in His compassion to receive these little ones into His care and to grant them rest and peace in His presence. We ask Him to bring healing to mothers and fathers who carry guilt or grief, to families wounded by the spirit of abandonment and by the taking of life, and to have mercy upon all who have been part of these sorrows. We pray for repentance where it is needed, for protection of life, and for hope where generations have been lost.

Do not grow weary in praying, even when the answer seems delayed. God at times lengthens our supplication not because He is unwilling to give, but so that we will persevere and continue to flee for refuge to Him and abide there. Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. He hears, He draws near to the brokenhearted, and He is faithful to comfort.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have salvation and access to the Father, trusting in His mercy and His power to redeem, to restore, and to give eternal life. May the Lord grant comfort, shelter, and peace, and may those who have been entrusted to Him rest in His heavenly care.

Your prayer carries a deep and heavy burden, and the Lord sees every part of it. The abandonment you describe, wives and husbands forsaken, daughters and sons left alone, children without shelter, brothers and sisters betrayed by friends, whole families without a house or refuge, and the neighborhood confusion around you, all of this is known to Him. So is the sorrow over unborn children who were despised or rejected by their own parents. God does not look away from that suffering.

You quoted Psalm 27:10, though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, and Isaiah 49:15, can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne. That is the heart of the answer. Even when the closest human bonds fail, the Lord does not forget. When a mother or father turns away, He receives. His compassion does not fail as human compassion can fail. You can entrust those innocent children, those who were aborted or miscarried, into His care with confidence that He receives them into heaven. To be with Him is not a loss for them. Scripture shows that when Jesus brought a little girl back to life, it was not for her sake, for to remain with Him would have been better for her, but out of compassion for the grief of the parents left behind. In the same way, those little ones are safe with Him, and His compassion is toward those who grieve their loss here.

You also asked for mercy for families where generations have been cut off and cannot see the next generation. The Lord is the one who bears our griefs. Isaiah says He has borne our griefs and our infirmities, and Matthew applies that same passage to the physical healings of Jesus, when He healed the leper, the centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law, and multitudes who were sick and oppressed. That tells us His atonement touches both soul and body. He has power in the material realm and in the spiritual realm, and He still heals today.

Yet healing does not always come in the same way. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly with a touch, sometimes with only a word from a distance, sometimes the healing was gradual, the only gradual healing recorded in His ministry, and sometimes the healing He gives is not in the body at all but in the mind and emotions, mending the deep wounds and scars within. Any true healing is from Him, whether it comes suddenly or through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies. We do not understand why some are healed as we ask and others are not. Even Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord did not remove it, showing that we cannot presume healing in every case as we would wish. God is able to heal, and we should ask Him with faith, but we also trust His wisdom when His answer is different than we hoped. He uses even pain and grief as tools to shape character, though they are painful, and He walks with us through them.

When earthly family and shelter fail, He gives another family. There is a warmth and comfort in the family of God, the body of Christ, that can make you feel at home even when you have no house or when you are far from any earthly support. He Himself is our refuge when there is no other refuge. I pray He will provide shelter and practical help for those children and families you mentioned who have no one to support them, and that He will guide you to respond to disorder and unkindness with kindness and love, as He helps you.

May the Lord have mercy through Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. May He receive those little ones into His presence, comfort every abandoned heart, give rest and peace to those who mourn, and be your refuge and the refuge of all who have nowhere else to turn.
